Is it really that much better than what a vendor has? If you can't make ammo it can be a pain asking someone to make it for you all the time. And what would you tip if someone makes say 30 stacks for you? I know some weapons and ammo vendors don't carry and you have to do this but what about the others.

Hello all, I really enjoy the building part of the game and would like to be able to build all the equipment available (eventually).  What I would like to know is....What would be the ideal devision of skills between the different classes?  I plan on leveling a TT, JE, and PP.  What would be the best way to devide up the build skills between them?  I know that it may not be neccessary to have all 3 classes, but I will eventually want to try all of them out anyways.  Any advice would be appreciated.   Thanks, Ieon

I was thinking of leveling my Build Shields and Build Devices skills on my PS to level 5 to do the Stage I Agrippa missions before I hit OL135. If I then have another PS 'Call Forward' those two Build skills, will I keep my learned recipes, and be able to continue the missions later (once I skill them back up to 7?)

If the Build Weapons Skill builds both weapons and ammo, why is there a separate skill to build ammunition on the PS and TS? 

Hey, all. I've just started the game, and a very friendly person gave me a level 2 engine, the Idle Hands. It basically allows infinite free-warp, which has been very useful to me. I was told it can be farmed, somewhere in Progen Sentinel areas, but I've searched multiple sites including the Net-7 Database and failed to find out exactly where it drops. I could Analyze it to try to build more, but it's risky. Would it be possible for someone to come up with a build list for new builders. Its seems quite obvious to me that a certain race at a certain level always wants to use the same engine (with some exceptions). I want to get into building weapons and I don't know at L3 exactly what ML's a Terran uses, Beams a Jen uses, Projectile a Progen uses.......but it seems to be common knowledge. It would be a great help if someone listed what each race uses at each level for weapon, engine, shield and reactor then I would be able to see where they drop and go find them. Over the last couple of months I decided to get my build on. As many of you know I was a market builder in EA live and In stress test 3 and 4. And because of that I prefer the previous method of building where the amount of prints and builder devices and factions made you the builder vrs the current method where you can build a couple thousand items in a day or two and be the builder I was in st4 and live.   This is a tale of 2 builders.. Are crossbows currently dropping and if so where might I loot some? I checked EnB arsenal but I can't even find most of the mobs listed there.

DB says this drops, but have been unable to locate.  Anyone willing/able to share location as critting an ammo is no sure way to get this comp?

Newbies find the whole build system really confusing, but since you're expected to use player made items and not vendor or loot items (mostly) in E&B, it's really important that everyone understand it. Several people have commented online that they are building between 2000-3000 low level weapons like beams or crossbows in order to make their build quality much better for the highest level items.  To do this requires a substantial outlay of credits (9-10M) since many stacks of comps will need to be purchased.  Is there any way that my progress (build quality) can be monitored so I might be able to purchase just enough comps to acquire the desired quality goal?  I know that I can monitor the number of the items I have made through the Net-7 database, but how can I tell if its affecting my overall build abilities for everything else?

Does this piece drop off of any mob? I've never seen one in game, and the only way to rip one to map is to hope for a critical analyze of the few types of ammo that uses one. I found this out while trying to make ammo for an L6 Orange Dragonfly.

I finished the mission of Terran Advantage spending tens of millions of credits...    I can build L9 engines at 200%   Used L9, L8 and L7 overrides on each engines respective to their levesl   Has 25K Infinity faction,    Grouped with 3 other builders who can build their trades 200% at L9    All three has over 15K Infinity faction   Place is Somerled       and ouch...   Analyze fail on all three....       You call it luck, I call it BS... Either way, begs the question what I could do more...

If after almost 3 months one has not dropped it is broken. This was a semi hard item to get and aided Progen Warriors with lvl 8 projectile launchers a lot please check and see what is up with this drop. It should be in game.

Kyp [DEV] told, regardless what number shows on screen , factions are limited to -10K and +10K   However, that does not work same way when trying to fix "bad faction"   For instance, having -13K red dragon faction still adds up , 13K+ EarthCorp Faction still adds up too   I mean:   1.) If it is limited to -10K, why killing opposite faction not dropping it to -10K (when it shows lower -10K) 2.) When building is 10K+ effecting stations?   so in my opinion, there should be hard caps like -10K (allowing players to return from rather than oblivion), +20K but crafting's best should be 10K and should not matter over 10K+ (…

I was looking through the database and I don't see any builders for this device. Could the devs please give a confirmation as to if it drops at all...and possibly where? And if it doesn't drop, could you please add it? This device is a MUST have for progen/terrans and would hate to go through 40 levels without it until I get to L7 devices. Thank you! I used to play on the old E&B Live, but now in this new emu server, seems like the population is much less than before (obviously). I seem to remember someone published a list of what-drop-where for the builders to find drop for their build. (like where to find the Ogun launcher). My character was one of the few who could build the highest Ogun launcher on Orion. Does anyone know where I can find such a list? I did some test builds last night with my TE, build weap 6/7, negotiate 5, station faction +14k. As I went through my weapons, I noticed lvl 5 were around 175%, so I figured I would see how many lvl 5 weapons I would have to build to get up to 200% (above 195% average). I used the custom buckshot gun as my test weapon - all vendor parts (to eliminate upgrade % increase). Results: Per every 25 built, I noticed a slight % increase (approx 3 - 5 %). After I built 100, I was able to achieve a steady output of 195% - 199%. I was unable to achieve 200% without the use of a terminal controller.
