Getting this error. Need help trying to get it corrected.

After entering my account details and i load into a character i get stuck on the galaxy map for 10 mins or more then i get took back to the main menu and have to re enter my account details, i've also had a GM black hole me and un black hole me and it didn't work, i also reinstalled the games several times (5-6 times) and i have all the boxes checked on the launcher and its still not working, i have also tried making a new character and it still didn't load me in.

Hello, Just wondering if anyone can help me, please? My young char 'Grune' got sent to swooping eagle planet and since then every time I log onto him I crash to desktop after the loading screen. I don't have any issues with any other chars, but haven't been to any planets with them. I have all the tick boxes ticked for packet reorder etc, IP6 disabled. Poking around the log files and it looks like memory access issue.. without the source and a debugger I cannot take it any further I have attached a copy of the log file highlighting the issue. _except.txt

Everytime i click launch it says "Server failed to respond to login attempt" aswell as saying "Incompatible version of net7proxy. latest version is 2.45" how do i fix this i keep hearing people say something about its a exe i need to run

I recently moved an alt to one of my old accounts. Unfortunately, I did not remember the password. No big deal. I clicked on the reset password option. However, I did not receive the email. I am not sure why I am not getting an email to reset the password. I checked my email, and it does receive responds from the forum. Any suggestions?

Hi. I've been guided by Woodstock to request some dev support regarding problems when I try to gate or dock... Most of the time (almost every time), when I gate or dock, the client hangs (awating server). Router has been rebooted - running game on cable (WiFi not active). I have disabled windows firewall, created open rules in W.defender and made sure all the correct files are set with admin rights. Packet Optimization, Prototype Recorder, Disable Mouse Lock and Delete TH6 Files are all checkmarked. Checked for updates and made force update from the Help menu in launcher. Both Net 7 and the forums accounts are ok I can log in to them with no problems, but on the login screen when I start the game it can't validate the log information. So what am I doing wrong? Dale Metta Wait

Can’t get past the section with Monty. I get an error saying I already have his item which i do have a “Fragment of a Datacube” in my cargo but the quest won’t advance. I go back to the quest giver and nothing. I tried to use the “/restoreinv” command but the item is still in my inventory. I know the forum says to report a bug but the bug tracker gives me a blank screen and I wasn’t able to create a ticket in game.

It seems that our Teamspeak Server needs to be kicked again, and restarted I'm getting "Failure to Connect to server" error when trying to connect to ts.net-7.org

Anyone have updated Win11 steps to set custom resolutions. Right now it is stuck in a small window. This is crazy I actually worked on the original game.

I've started using passphrases which tend to be far longer than passwords but much easier to remember. I discovered that the game account management on net-7.org will allow you to set a significantly longer password than the game client will accept. The game client seems to be hard-coded to a limit of 20 characters. As a result the net-7.org account management should disallow any password over 20 characters (and should definitely not silently truncate it to 20 as I've found some sites to do!)

This evening my progen warrior locked up while using a gate. The destination didn't appear. I crashed it out and logged in again. The character is now in space with no nav points. I tried flying toward the visible sun and hit a wall. Is this something that can be fixed?

HI all, Just started playing after 24 years and I choose the Jenquai, however, the starting area is really laggy. So much, it's unplayable. I did see another "new" player around and he had the same issue. I'm from The Netherlands and my connection is fine with no issues. Any idea what is causing this?

The Ten-Gu Bile Threading Machine ( from the Mar's Construction Project ) does make ammo that shows up as 235 damage but if you log off and back on, it's damage shows as 181, which is the same as regular player made ammo. Also, if you switch slots, in your cargo, for the regular player made ammo, it now shows up as 235 damage also. So what is the point of the Threading Machine? Noone is going to camp a spot for so long that they need to make ammo on the spot. Please correct this obvious bug so that the Threading Machine has it's purpose by making ammo with the intended higher damage. Tef

Followed the " how do I get the game " instructions Open Net-7 as administrator, an get I need NET Framework 3.5 with the option to download it, I do it says i have it, and rinse and repeat on attempting to open game. I'm trying to modify my `user.config` so that the Tools menu items of LauncherNet7.exe work, and point to the versions I want them to. Is there any documentation for the `user.config`? Are these absolute or relative paths? I can log in to nety.org and the forums but when i open the game up and put in my password its telling me it doesnt recognize it..what could be wrong

I don't know what the problem is exactly but when I ran the config it wouldn't play any sound in the sound tests, and that's still the case when I launch the game itself, too. The intro cutscene has the normal sound but as soon as I get to the menu it all cuts out. What do I do to fix this? 😧 I'm on windows 10 if it matters ;~;

Hi there, I went into the Net 7 Portal and had a play around with the Change Quality features on my ship. Unfortunately having logged into the game I see that any items I have changed the quality of now do not show the icon, only the level and details when clicked on. I can still instal the equip as before but it just doesn't look as good and I have to be super careful not to delete or sell the wrong items. Grateful for any advice or assistance please. Thanks in advance.

I can login, create, or select an avatar but it stops at the galaxy map and then sooner or later will dump out to the login screen again.
