Fathead Posted March 24, 2017 Report Share Posted March 24, 2017 Every time I try to launch the game I get an error message from Net Framework, and the launch fails. This just started yesterday after a power failure, when I was in-game. I'm running Win10, and everything else works fine on this puter. I've uninstalled / installed game 2x with no luck. I've been online with Microsoft techs for over 8 hours now, during which we uninstalled / installed NET.Framework , updated GPU drivers, played with Visual C ..etc.. and last night I did a clean boot and upgraded Win10. ...not sure what else I can try. I also have given EnB permission in my security, but frankly I'm not sure if I did that correctly. My old box running XP still launches and runs the game fine, so no ISP probs... Any ideas? Fathead Posted March 24, 2017 Author Report Share Posted March 24, 2017 OK, I think I might have solved this (with help from Kyp on a previous post). At least I'm able to launch and login without the error message. I went to AppData as Kyp suggested, and found that there was a 'LaunchNet7 folder from over a month ago. I moved this to a folder on my desktop , then looked in the AppData again, and found that the newer Launch folder ( that I had just downloaded today), had been moved there. So I closed that up and launched the game, and it came up fine , and started to DL updates. After updates the game started just fine. Seems that the hang was the old LaunchNet7 file in AppData.
