Zeke's Epic Builder/Miner Mission(s)

40 posts in this topic

I'm collecting here the Mission series for Ezekial(Zeke) Garret, the Bogeril in Witburg at 63,20 in what looks to be some sort of solar wind sailing ship. Please note these are posted in order, and they must be completed in that same order.

If you have conversation dialog, please post a link to the image or past the text in directly and state which mission and step it goes to! :)

This completes the "Solar Energy for Laymen" mission.

I don't recall what the reactor/device/shield was that this thing taught. Please post if you know. All I remember is that I made a fortune making and selling the parts for these missions to others who came after me. :)

The Stranger Ships reports that dropped from the EarthCorps ships was a rare drop, you had to kill a whole bunch of them to get the 3 required.

Yes, I remember. However, at the time I did the mission, the NPCs were easy to oneshot with my JE. Could burn through 50 or so of them in 5 minutes or less.

True, but since they were factioned mobs one still needed to watch their EarthCorps.

They were tradeable. I believe a few folks leveled up a L30-40 warrior class and got the reports that way..then nuked the alt after.

Does anyone have any of the dialog from these? The link posted above is a good baseline of whats needed along the way and screen grabs of said items. But the dialog would be awesome to have. The items learned at the end were for the Fiery Shield line, Lodestar Device Line, and Balefire Reactor Line.

If anyone has "anything" from these please contact me in/outta game.

If nothing shows up for this, I wouldn't mind trying my hand at writing some of the dialogue and/or helping someone with it. ;)

So helping some people finish these missions just really makes me wonder one key thing...  How did the build missions SUDDENLY go from EXPLORER only mission to TRADER missions?  These were part of a long series from the devs from live to "make it up" to the Progen Sentinals and Jenquai Explorers.  Loony's missions, Mars Mining Project, Call Forward, Compulsary Comtemplation, etc.  The prints for the device, reactors and shield were mission rewards to explorers at the end.  NOW the PS/JE can't get them?  WHY/HOW was it decided to change this around to the traders getting them?

Quite simply : The current implementation also takes into account the Privateer and the Seeker as well as certain build restrictions on components. It was either that, or not continue forward with the content.

well the TT never got the builds in live.  It was for explorers now the explorers are locked out.  Just backwards now.

Hi, good day to everyone ,

Would be hard to exclude the TT from a mission making device. The mission is made out of a lot of refined element and of device ,

The mission is not meant to be a solo endeavor as i see it or explorers only it is a research into bogeril solar technology R&D

I disagree that the explorer are being left out , here is my detailed explanation why :

two thing that the Jenquai explorer excels at. The reward includes a reactor (  Brilliant Balefire ) and  a device (  Carnelian Lodestar )

The PS build device (  Carnelian Lodestar ) and shield ( fiery paragon reward. )  and does refining

The Scout also build device ( Carnelian Lodestar ) and also does refining. so The Scout seem to be the only one of the explorer who get a bit less

( side note : the addition of a level 7 buildable solar sail 8 and 9 engine would be nice , to the printed reward ).

At Last check i was part of the top 4 to make it first  ( Thanks to an elf help ;-) ) I am also the one who told your guys how to do the last part involving the kernel

I kinda wish I had kept my mouth shut if your going to be whinny about content being made differently , by mostly hard working , dedicated and volunteer people for everyone enjoyment ( keep up the really good work guys )

,  and is now part of the 6 total player able to make it for the entire server.

It is a great mission , I am happy that I was able to complete it and will do it again on other toon as soon as they get into the level/range/skill of doing it

Have nice day Moulinneuf / Mouli of Builde's Inc.

You say "would be hard to exclude the TT from a mission making device."  Well it was in live because it was an EXPLORERS mission line.  Adding the TS would be fine, but it was never intended for anybody other than explorers.  JD didn't get it, TT didn't get it.  Just a lot of things have been done to NOT change things as it would take away from what happened in live (the TT getting the PT's Bubble skill late AND device building), but yet THIS was changed from live.

Thank you for helping Prre and us with the info.  It was nothing against you in ANY form.  It was about changing story line from live.

Like taking all the Terran restricted off the Loony's items.. BOGERIL HATE TERRANS.  That was why the restriction was there, but complaints happen.  Just the fact things that used to be protested (back in st2) that changes won't be made if they were that way in live, but now they can/are was the hipocrisy I was bringing up.  I had a talk to Arthur Dent all is good.

Just because toons HAVE a skill doesn't mean they should be included for all missions.  Or JT would get the TA mission (terrans), Everybody stage one Agrippa (Progens).  These were Explorer reward prints.  All is fine, just wanted to wonder the thought process for changing away from this.

How does the JE complete the backyard solar kit? It isn't tradeable, and a JE cannot build it.  Am I missing something here?
