  1. The most updated version of the ini, and a link to download the original EnBTravelmate, are located here now:
  2. AngryAngel is teh man! He has posted Kii's original ini update file. I did a file compare, to Mannakin's file, and Kii's has a lot more sector's. Even though they are not identical I did not see anything, in Mannakin's ini, that should be added/replace any code in Kii's. NOTE: I only spent a few minutes, running a file compare and checking the differences, so feel free to more heavily compare the two. I am using Kii's. I have updated Kii's version to version 7.9 to include Greater Wormhole into WHL7 selection for JE. If any further updates are made please update the version, version notes, and upload additional update(s). = ] EnBTravelMate_v7.9.ini
  3. the old update ini file was posted here: UPDATE: After comparing files there is a lot of missing data from Mannakin's ini file. AngryAngel has posted Kii's original file.I recommend using that one (below).
  4. o . 0 Have you tried Compat Mode for the exe's? I seriously doubt any game older than 10 years is gonna run on Win11. Its a pile of.......that runs most of its processes on the cloud. I recommend running a VM client rather than trying to get Win11 to work with older games (Steam is having a nightmare with it).
  5. Make sure your firewall and virus scan software are not blocking the program. Windows is a bitch about this. Ensure the Net-7 exe's are set to Compat mode for Win 7. I had to do a fresh install and the Net-7 updater is a nightmare. Generate several errors then got stuck and would not update. Make sure to Install Certificate under Help. Under Launcher click Check For Updates. If nothing happens click Reset Updates.
  6. Lost my hard drive that had the updated ini file on it. Anyone else have Kii's updated ini file? Be cool to post the ini, with the original travelmate program, all in a single zip/rar file and upload it to https://www.net-7.org/?#downloads
  7. Previous to the last Tuesday (08/24/2021) maintenance when mining pop-rocks, with max level Prospect and 200% Golden Tooth (L9 + 4.62 from the device), I used to be able to mine ore about 40%-50% of the time (roughly). I had better chances on pop-rocks, mining the first ore, if it had two ores in them. It was definitely worth the potential debuff and loss of shields. Since the last server maintenance restart I have been successful 4 times out of the 50 poprocks and the ONLY success has been mining L6 and L7 asteroids. Not sure what change was made but atm there appears to be zero reason to ever mine high level pop-rocks, unless farming for a pop mob drop, because the chance of success has been zero. Has anyone else experienced this? Has the /random just been screwing me for a week now?
  8. sunrise.net-7.org is offline as of 8:00 am PST / 3:06 pm GMT
  9. Depending on your version of windows you may need to first click the window's key before you can shift click to bring up the 'move' option menu.
  10. I know the Dark Matter Cannon lists its ammo as impact, the Launcher as explosive, and the Beam as energy (just like live). I seem to recall that these dark matter weapons also ignored mob resists to these 'damage types'. So if a mob was resistant to impact the DM sludge (from the PL) didn't care. It did full damage and then gained a large bonus if the mob was debuffed to impact. Does it work that way in the EMU or are these weapons just kind of bleh now? Also wasn't the dark matter ammo level 9? Its shows in the database as level 8, which would nerf its damage even more. Might be nice to buff these weapons to make them end game appropriate even for non-raiders. Also wondered, and maybe I am just senile, but didn't a certain level of grav link debuff the target to impact? Might have been level 5 because both my PS and PW, in live, used impact and grav link a ton. Once everyone had plasma debuff devices it pretty much stopped being used much. It was a reason to equip devices that improved the grav link skill.
  11. Instead of an AH what about a mission board? Posted by Json the JE: "Desperate JE needs help killing the damn Modi's Child. It keeps sneaking up on me while I am farming Sult sausage (you know, the good organ meat the Progens love so much). Send a PM if interested. Thorvalds need not reply." Would love a section like this to organize a public raid or two. I have several synthesized crystals that I would love to give away but without assistance from others they would likely just sit in players vaults.
  12. I have NOT seen the following items drop in Cooper zone off regular ten-gu: Ten-gu Cranium, Nerve Bundle (if they do drop from regular teng-gu, like they did in live, it would be great if someone replied) I HAVE seen the following drop in Cooper zone off regular ten-gu: Ten-Gu Ossien Matter, Ten-Gu Carapace, Ten-Gu Ocular Nerve, and Ten-Gu Cerebral Cortex It would be nice if these were colored a little different or had some additional info on them. I have vendored SO many of these. NOTE: The Ten-Gu Bile, Ten-Gu Rib, and Ten-Gu Tooth still DO NOT drop in Cooper, from normal ten-gu, they way they did in live. If you want the ammo you MUST go to a raid......which is still strange to me as you can get a great weapon and never have ammo for it.
  13. sunrise.net-7.org is offline but it can be pinged.
  14. hit me up on Discord: Jc#2534 or Steam: 10478601

  15. Well it worked fine yesterday. Today it just boots back to the login screen, after Stage 2 complete, and closes the net7 launcher. Update: Unchecking Packet Optimization and Prototype Reorder allowed me to login.
  16. I have not played for a while but I would be willing to help. There is a Discord channel up: https://discord.gg/NFhgwAPnVA

    Nice! This should be pinned.
  18. yeah, in looking at the walkthrough on the wiki, https://www.net-7.org/wiki/index.php/Green_Initiative:_You'd_forget_your_head_if_it_wasn't_attached it looks like the player is supposed to go to Dr. Sacha Ilekio in Jagrstadt City on Zweihander Planet. I do not recall seeing any text regarding this, in my interaction with Beeker or H'neydoo, directing me to Jagrstadt City. It would be useful to have the mission log update to include this information instead of the in-game text continuing to direct the player back to Mr Beeker.
  19. Can't turn in the initial 5 decayed human heads to Mr. Beeker. Tried sorting, separating, and trading but he will not complete the mission.
  20. OS: Windows 10. Looks like I had to adjust my client.exe and net7config.exe to Compatibility mode: Windows 7, do a performance test with windowed mode checked, then click OK. Now it's working correctly.
  21. Trying to get back into the emulator, after several years of absence, and ran into an issue when trying to launch the game in window'd mode. I tried setting window'd mode in both the net7config.exe and E&BConfig.exe but to no avail. Any ideas?
  22. Haven't played for quite a while. After the initial Windows 10 upgrade the game worked.  However recently nothing would come up when pressing Play on the LaunchNet7 v2.2.0 app.  I had to go through to the enb.client.exe and set it to Compatibility mode Windows XP (Service Pack 2). That still didn't work (which had in the past) so I went into the Net7 folder and changed the net7proxy.exe to Compatibility mode Windows XP (Service Pack 2).   Now the game runs fine again   Disregard.  Game keeps disconnecting/losing sync. Maybe time to say goodbye to EnB.
  23. Unfortunately there is no way to open raiding to more people with the current structure of the EMU.  The number of players that can be involved in a raid is limited by the server and code.  Since most of the raids are on a span timer they are always going to be farmed by the top guilds.  The only possible way around this would be locking players out if they have attended a raid.  Unfortunately most high level players have so many alts this isn't going to stop anything.  Even worse there are so few raids that there is a serious bottleneck once people hit 150.   Seriously the pride devices are camped liked clockwork, the voltoi mob instigator is always camped, the raids are camped, the guardian is camped, its all down like clockwork. Why would any average player feel like there was any game-play once they reached 150 and were not in one of the main guilds? It doesn't take very long (after missing out on multiple raids) for players to just say, "I have a better chance of raiding in another game" and just logging off.
  24. wow.....just wow.   While I think the idea is interesting locking it down so its not changeable seems to violate the whole class setup of EnB.  If I choose a skill set I don't like I am screwed and have to re-level a whole new toon?  Isn't that the whole point of the PS's 135 skill to allow a player to try out different skills and play styles?   Seems like a lot more work could be done to make most skills more useful and balanced....or even god forbid give every class a working level 135 skill and not just the PS (JE still doesn't have its 135 skill working). Even making gear specific to certain classes or mobs more susceptible to certain skills would seem like a better first step then spending all this time modifying existing class balance....but if you do it at least make it adjustable so the game isn't further ruled by those players able to max level 10+ different toons multi-boxing.   NOTE: I took a quick look at the spread sheet and there are buffs for items that are currently not even working/balanced.  This will even further unbalance existing classes. As an example gear damage reduction is useless when gear is so rarely damaged in structure and quality.  Turbo is currently most powerful for the slowest weapons.  Westwood understood this and capped turbo from simply being a speed increase to actually adding to the damage down (EG: first 40% applies to rate of fire......every point after that applies to damage output and not rate of fire).  I would suggest ensuring that all of the areas effected by these buffs be working/balanced before adding in a whole new set of gear that uses these buffs.   Furthermore the devs may want to consider how easy 99% of the mobs in the game are. Most players have zero problem killing mobs 10 levels higher than their CL even with most mobs mass aggroing. Mobs cannot catch players so almost no one ever dies. Adding more damage output, further damage reduction, and greater range to the existing classes via these specializations is just going to turn an already EZ mode game into one no one wants to play.  Toughen up the mobs, their skill usage, and AI before further buffing players.
