As part of our on-going updates to the Net 7 Portal, the Webdev team are launching a photo Competition to gather images for the Home page of the site. There will be 5 images chosen by you guys via a poll once the competition closes. You need to take a screen shot, ingame, that you feel reflects the essence of Earth and Beyond. This may be a Raid event or just a shot of the scenery, it does not matter as long as it defines Earth and Beyond. I am contacting you all to let you know that we are working on transferring everything to our new servers this weekend, and with that in mind there may be some temporary outages. David and I are trying to keep this to a minimum but there will be some outages that are unavoidable, including a time when the sunrise server will be offline for a while. You've all probably begun to notice that the donations goal appears much higher. It is calculating the one-time cost of a newly added goal at $2200.00 we were looking at to build the server plus our normal monthly goals. We still only need the 1225 a month for the main goal to keep the servers online, but anything anyone is willing to contribute to the new server, please do! We should be able to drastically lower costs with the new equipment and local hosting location. Thanks to all donors and players! Net-7

Next time you Launch you should be receiving a file update, this will correct the issues being reported with issues on values of different buffs and other items displayed in tool tips on the object.

You know that web dev that screwed up yesterday? Well, now ive fixed the script I have added an accounts section, this currently only has a change password option available on it which works now ... The next thing im going to add is the option to change the e-mail address. This is going to require you to change your forum e-mail first i think But, we shall see... need to discuss this with the developers first. Enjoy

As you may see from the previous news thread, i messed up. All accounts have now had there old passwords set back as of last night. Accounts created today will still need there passwords reset. If you are still having problems logging in, please make a post in the Technical Support forum. Thanks

Hi All, I have just made a massive mistake in coding a new section to the portal, and unforuntatley have reset everyones account passwords. To get your account password back, please visit the portal, click login, and there is a forgot password link. This will allow you to reset your password, you will need your account name, and your original e-mail address you signed up with, this will then make you activate the account and get you playing again. As you may or may not have seen i have a section on the portal now for downloads. This is a list of all available downloads, and is managed by the team. The URL chosen is random, and a nightly script is run to check for the availability of the downloads, any download that has been flagged as inactive for 3 nights running will be removed from the list until the scanner checks and finds the link is again available. Hey Guys, I'm going to be taking the forums offline for a bit while I do a backup on them and update the software a bit. The forums will be restored as soon as possible. Please be aware, there is currently issues with registration. Following the server crash we are still in the process of getting everything up and running again. Registration is working as required, however, i am lead to beleive that NONE of the activation e-mails are being sent. As far as i know, this is affecting both FORUM and GAME accounts. Because of the upcoming holiday season we are delaying the upcoming November content update until the middle of December. As part of the holiday season we want to have a patch before xmas, as is EnB tradition. Instead of having a regular sized content update at the beginning of December and a small update in the middle we are putting them both together to make one large patch for the holidays. This will give us a few more weeks to work on xmas related development goals and a chance to give you a more in-depth and polished EnB holiday experience.
