Another app like AutoSizer, could help as well. On another note, make sure the screen coordinates are positive. The client doesn't like it when Windows maps a monitor in negative pixels. -
Most of the time, this can be solved by checking the option "Prototype Re-order" in the Net-7 Launcher.

Okay, I'll bite again. The rotation served its purpose when there were huge numbers of players in the Big 3. Since the numbers have shifted to the majority being in public or other guilds, including Damage Inc, I'd argue that its currently only serving a few multi-boxers at this point, and their respective guilds. If this is indeed the case, and triggers are being left up, you guys need to rally and go take them down as Gunney has suggested. I supported the rotation (and help design it as part of Static) as a method of dealing with large numbers of players, including getting the public a spot. My motives and views then were to simply make the situation more fair for everyone who are able to raid. If the dynamics have changed that much, and those guilds no longer have this majority, then the rules should change or be tossed altogether in favor of the majority of players who can and actually want to raid. I would hope the leaderships of these guilds would acknowledge this difference, and make this change on their own. -Not give into the greed of the situation. But since this does not seem to be the case, nothing will change until those with the greater numbers choose to act and make it a regular thing to do these raids. Until then, this issue is like beating the proverbial dead horse. Hence the fizzle in discussion.

Your outgoing IP address information should all be provided by your ISP. In most cases, the range is dynamic (ISP assigned by a DHCP server). I don't understand why you are trying to manually route traffic, when this process should be working automatically. My setup uses a single router, like most. I don't assign any of the address information to the outside, as the ISP does this for me. And that router also handles IP addressing for my internal machines through its DHCP capabilities. Nothing special required to connect to the game server. Why is yours any different?

Sorry to inject this somewhat off topic thought, but I figured this was worth mentioning to anyone running a VM: Using VMWare Workstation 12 myself in my own full group configuration, I run 4x Windows 7 32bit OS's, on VM's. The key to not wasting disk space is to create 1 actual VM with an actual OS disk image. From there (After fully configuring said VM), right-click on that VM, move to Manage, then select Clone. This will start the Clone wizard. Click next, and you will see that you can create a "Linked Clone" of the other. A linked clone allows you to make a copy of the VM created, that also uses the image of the original VM for OS on the cloned copy. It stores the differences in data to the cloned VM's directory/folder. The result is that it doesn't require another-second copy of the original disk image, as it uses the first as it's base source for it's OS data. (I repeat this on the second machine.) Windows 7 also has the advantage of having a hardware accelerated desktop, compared to XP. I simply disable and uninstall everything that is unnecessary within the OS, and have little problem running 2 VM's on each of my 2 machines, which are also running clients in the main OS on each rig, giving me access to 6X ships at once, without the need to switch between them very often. If you have gating issues or odd crashes, remember to go through your host computer's network config, turn off IPv6. If you have a newer motherboard with 2 Ethernet adapters, disable the VMWare bridge protocol on the first adapter, but leave it enabled on the second. Start the local client session, and make sure its using the 1st adapters IP in the launcher. This will keep the VM's on the second NIC, allowing you to dedicate the 1st to the group's driver. This helps a butt-load in terms of stability. Hope this helps some people. Feel free to PM me if there are any further questions.

Any warrior that you prefer, with a JE along, is a solid choice for the sake of reactor power buffs alone. I use both a Seeker and a TT, depending on what the needs are ATM. When my wife and I both played(original live), we each had a warrior(PW), while I had a JE and TT. Here, I started with a JD, JE, and a JS. The TT came soon after. -
As you obviously are not aware Panda, I am no longer a member of Static, and haven't been for quite some time. And unlike you, I generally try and seek the balance between all sides involved in any situation, instead of trolling, spewing hate and drama. One major cause of the loss of players. If you bothered to actually play the game you love trolling so much, you might know that. The truth is, like so many of you I too see the population declining every year, and getting worse year after year. Consolidation might prove to better serve the population at this point. Years ago, when that was written, we had a population around 500 or more. The rotation with the public getting their own week then, was the best way of keeping the peace between huge groups of players. These days, not so much. Especially with numbers so low and raids being conducted by so few. Any honest man who isn't blind can see that perspective. The loot should be shared equally between anyone who is willing to raid for it. Fairness is fairness. Since you must be dying to know, I voted in favor of build-able raid triggers. This would takes the argument out of everything, and people can raid at their discretion, and the drama ends. Those who work hardest to work their butts off building triggers, reap all the rewards with their friends or whoever they wish. The big question is whether or not you guys can get these other groups of players to play ball. BTW, Most people would agree that Prre is a good dude. Saving you of course. But you never have anything nice to say about anything, do you?

Panda, that's just the sort of answer one might expect from a known troll and a whiner. The truth is that I'm fairly indifferent to the whole thing. Why don't you try asking someone what they think instead of trolling every response that comes along. My test was valid. I voted on Mozilla, Checked and tested it on chrome. Both on the same machine. Prre, that's too damn funny.

FYI, Your poll can be easily cheated by use of multiple devices, and by having multiple browsers on the same device. I voted, then checked it with Chrome.

Alternatively, you can also get rid of the Windows border around the game if you wish in windowed mode. Google "Windowed Borderless Gaming" for the freebie app that does just that.

Zack, both addresses (play/sunrise.net-7.org) resolve to: 38.130.197.232 My toons are in space, and are also seeing the issue. (Login to the map screen, then instant CTD) Launcher version 2.2.0, all 4 checkboxes on the left checked = true, all others unchecked. Additional: Outgoing ports perhaps in said firewall issue? Proxy gets to "Waiting for Server" after login, just prior to going poof. Yell if you want to know anything else. -

No, the way it went down is that you guy decided to forgo the rotation, we never heard the reason (to my knowledge). But as Efi said, you remember it the way you want. Gunney, I was not pointing to you in regards to stirring the pot. There are other individuals in game who have a tendency to stay silent while feeding inaccurate info to others, causing this sort of thing. Its happened before. To the comment regarding the over camping of smaller mini-raids and their booty. Those items are over camped because there aren't any rules governing them. Some require a crazy amount of time camping, I would hope that all that do manage to attend these spawns would be willing to roll on said booty. But we all know that doesn't happen. My point is that if the regular rotation raids were to go in a "free for all" manor, they would become as big a pain in the arse to deal with as warder or the other smaller spawns. Those spawns would fall to the same types that camp the others, and the majority would once again lose to the greedy few. Do not forget that this agreement was what came of this sort of thing, You may have not been around for all the fun when the server was around a count over 500 daily. it was at this time when the current agreement system was made, and voted on by far more than the few that are following this thread. Its the gravity of what many of us went through to make this agreement happen, that is behind the votes against in this discussion. Likely the same people who also believe the current system is fair. Holyman, your while some of your ideas are great in concept, the reality is that the larger guilds do have several differences that I have observed over time. They are better organized, they have a worked out strategy, and they it so well, they know what their friends in guild will do in a given situation. Your idea would punish those who are simply more skilled without though of how or why they would feel about being excluded. The current system keeps the peace by including anyone who wants to raid, can raid. Excluding anyone will always stir resentment at some level, which in turn will start an issue, and we will be talking about yet another agreement. Not the way I would suggest things should fly, but people will be people, and there is little that reasonable men and women can say or do about it. Thus you have the Warder, Modi's heart & Child, and the sort that would camp them continuously, depriving others and feeling good about it at the end of the day. Many of us have wanted the rotation raids put on some sort of activation trigger device, but it also seems that many fear the dev's usual "soviet block" thinking, in that they will reduce the drops if this is the case. Punishment of shitty drops for the ability to trigger our own raids has come up in conversation before, along with the negative factor that seems to follow anything cool that we work hard to obtain(see Waking Nightmare). What I do suggest is doing so while working the trigger devices into the raid backstory a bit more, and like the other player made raid triggers, require an effort to put together. One idea would be to play on the element, so I'll use GoBB as an example. The players at the raid in essence are trying to attract the attention of some very big name associated with ill-gotten booty. So what is the best way to attract the attention of pirates??? Build a treasure chest from a mess of ores and refined gems, plus a couple odd Bogeril odd items for the box to hold it all maybe?? A start, but not big enough. Perhaps a device build skill to make something to amplify the treasure chest idea, and maybe throw a false signature of a treasure galleon (Channeling my inner Star Trek geek here). Now that would make a tempting prize to bring them back from the dead. :) Troller's might be based on something based on new technologies. So maybe do something similar for the false signatures, plus refine odd ores and items to make another drone or gadget that they will find irresistible due said advanced technologies. Red Dragon base, maybe something to the effect of a device or something to make the players seem aquainted with the Chavez. Perhaps its like the enemy at the gates story theme. The players were sent by the Chavez to take the base, and part of the activate conversation would involve a letter from Hugo about Tzu and his mother. :) Getting understandably pissed, they release the horde upon the raiders. Anyway, its as far as imagination will allow, we simply have to write the pages to put something forward. Also never forget that the PRS is there as well, though needs a GM to better to activate it. Perhaps a conversation with a gate guardian who would exact the usual toll on anyone inside 5k of the gate, then they get gated in by someone talking to that NPC, getting a ticket or certificate to trigger 1 event inside. Each point of interest inside would them have to be access by the player with the ticket, to start the raid they desire. -

After watching this thread for a while watching all the opinions fly... So here's mine. I will vote to leave the agreement as is, now let me tell you why... The history: This cycle of people wanting to bring change to the agreement and it resulting in another agreement, has been repeated several times over the past number of years. We do seem to end up right back into a rotation agreement in some form in the end. Changing the rotation has only resulted in chaos in the past, and that Chaos always leads back into another raid agreement. I would remind everyone thinking it needs changing, that without an agreement, every raid will fall to the first groups on scene and ready to start, and will not be as orderly as the raids conducted currently. This agreement was put in place to keep the peace by allowing an equal chance for all players to get the rare items from these raids. It may be difficult for many to believe (based on this discussion), but the raid rotation was not put in place to exclude anyone from raiding and getting the rare booty as a result. It was written to keep everyone equal and others from controlling/dominating these spawns. That is why the public was also included in the rotation a long while back, that is why all involved are given the full 7 days to conduct their own raids, and do so in peace. The Evidence of bad behavior: Someone noted earlier that the community may be grown up enough now.... We should remember that there are a few proven greedy people who have stolen these raids from others in the past, and done so while this, AND the other agreements of the past were in effect. What makes everyone here think that this wouldn't turn into a huge messy fight later and with it, a huge drama fest with people like that around?? It all boils down to a few greedy people who can't play nice and share with others. For what exactly?? They want to get their grubby little hands their same pixel booty fifty times over, -for all their alts?? This also sounds a little too much like someone stirring the pot by putting bad ideas into the minds of the unwitting, as has happened in the past with much of the raid thievery that has taken place over same years. If this is the case, I would suggest that these people find something else to occupy their time than to promote their greed and hostility within the community. On the discussion of allowing other "large enough" guilds a spot in the rotation: This has always been taken into consideration by our delegates (from all sides of the discussion) who have hammered out these agreements in the past. This has happened a few times with Phoenix and Epic Gamers (came to mind). Guilds wishing to join simply have to get their brass to make a request of the community, or get in touch with their favorite participating group to join. Then someone sets up a meeting, usually followed poll, and then we take a vote. Its that simple. Guilds in question have only to complete said raid successfully to join. Also consider the guilds in the agreement have also given up raids of their own for this to happen, and have done so voluntarily.This results in another group in the rotation, so everything gets popped out another week to make room for the newcomers. Easy enough. I can't speak for you ladies and gentlemen, but when given a choice between a fair and level process vs. drama, we should opt for peace and less fighting + drama, over the mess something like this can potentially cause, as we've seen repeated time and again in the past. We should learn from these mistakes of the past, lest we might be doomed to repeat them. Thanks for reading if you made it this far. :) -Overt. -

Since we do not negotiate with you Magoo, your argument is "null and void," to borrow a phrase. Twist the facts any way you think are right in your little mind. The simple fact that people thieved a raid under your "advice" speaks volumes about your character and to why we don't deal with you. A response like that will only lead to trouble and you know it. I will also reiterate Uni's point made earlier: Alurra's job as advocate has no baring on this discussion. Any arguments to the contrary are little more than cheap jabs. Please leave her position as advocate out of this discussion and stay on the topic. Builders Inc has also been awfully silent so far. You guys have second and third in command slots as well I imagine, we are still waiting for an official response to this thread from someone with the authority to speak on your guild's behalf. Please have a representative from your guild respond or get in touch with us in some fashion. @Syberfly: Thank you for being a better man by apologizing. We really do appreciate it.:)

Alurra is discussing this rationally Mimir. Further, enlisting the opinions of leaderships of all guilds is the proper response as this matter involves everyone who raids in the rotation. So please stop trying to divert and deflect this conversation from the original topic. I would further point out that its NOT Static, VGE, or many of the public guilds, that time and again cause problems in these raids and steal them from other guilds. Speaking for Static, I can say that we honor our agreements, and I do know the leaderships of VonCorp and many of the public guilds do as well. This kind of thievery needs to stop before matters escalate, and stop for good. So I'll ask the question yet again to the LEADERSHIPS of any raiding guild: Do the actions of the few greedy individuals in question, reflect the wishes of everyone in the rotation? The leadership of BI and EG still need to be heard here as well as many public guilds. This is the appropriate way to field this issue since it is likely that the voices of many wouldn't be heard in a sudden "impromptu" TeamSpeak meeting.
