  1. Fixed.     I have been meaning to fix that, and it is now done. The Alien DNA Genemap Fragment will now be accepted at the Sabine Genetic Repository.    This will be active with next patch. 
  2. As you will note from the patch notes today some raid timers now survive reboot. I hope that addresses the one agreed issue.    El

  4. We will discuss the unintended impact of the move on the raid schedule during the next DEV meeting and decide if it warrants action.   Despite the negative responses from one individual I do not see much in the way of concern otherwise.    El
  5. I confirmed back to the mission code and did a quick test on the DEV server: When the tokens are placed in the hold the mission does update which generates the normal center screen update text. There is no way to make the receipt of the tokens more obvious. 
  6. Saevel,    Yes -we can (and have) created totally new sectors, mobs, and drops. We will also continue to do so.    There are dozens of sectors already made and, in most costs, stocked with mobs. We just need to work them into the story line and start opening them up. 
  7. Lost,    A very good point on the Shooting Start Reactor Missions. I have added a check at the start of this mission to verify that the mission taker has the build reactor skill. That particular issue will not repeat in the future. The change will be live with the patch next Tuesday.    The roller press I will look into but we are considering doing something special with that.    As for removing the prints - that is not so straight forward. I can bring it up at the next Dev meeting.    El
  8. Equipment can have at least 6 buffs (i.e. Made to Live). I am not sure if that is the hard limit or just a practical one at this point. 
  9. Overall I like the idea. A couple of thoughts:   The bonuses should be offset somehow - increases in one hear should have some penalties in others. That is the nature of specialization after all.    I am uncertain how we would implement it given the limitations of the client. Perhaps a device or other item which confers the necessary buffs or debuffs. 
  10. Please open a GM ticket - then we can capture some details we will need in trouble shooting. 
  11. Nightside,    Are you sure you have everything you need? You need to have the Progen Raw Recruits x6 and then can talk to Arx Yamir (you should see a chat icon next to the dock/register icons).    If you are still having open a ticket so a GM can take a look in greater detail. 
  12. This same situation could exist for any mission that requires you to dock at a station.   I would suggest that the mission is completable -  you just need to repair faction in order to do so. You have the option to forfeit the mission in needed.   No player class starts negative with any other player class - so this could only happen through player action.

  16. Vitaes,     The job mob dosn't become attackable until attacked by the player. So first attached is always to the job holder. Also the job mobs should be generally neutral faction - so other mobs should not attack them. We would need to look at the case you mention in SE.   If we get any cases where this is occuring we will adjust the factors so that it is not an issue.
  17. Zach can look at the logs. I have never seen a failure of this sort in the new /random redirect and that is from a good amount of use.

Didn't I reply to this once?   We cannot change the client - so client side item locking is a non-starter.    The graphics team is doing a great job of adding additional models (i.e. parrot feather), or color to existing models (i.e. Rada) to add visual distinction. This will continue and will hopefully help with the core problem of accidentally vendoring/spacing valuable items. 
  19. Kranzya,    I can see how these would make things easier. However, as mentioned below, we have no ability to change anything on the E&B game client. We can change the server side which gives us wide range on mobs, sectors, stations, missions, etc but we cannot make any changes to client to add new buttons, features, etc. So getting new popups which you click the exp bar is out of the question.    Now if you have any friends at EA (do people in have friends?) who want to give us the client source code then we can talk. :)
  20. Sevin,    I just looked at the mission code and it set to advance to the next step when you dock at the station - you do not need to see anyone there. I am not sure why it is not working for you - i run though it once quickly with no issues.    I would suggest opening a ticket and one of the GMs can help get things advanced.    El
  21. Guys,    We hear ya. We are not unmindful nor uncaring of the strife going on.    It is on the agenda for our Sunday Dev meeting and I hope to have something to discuss on the Q&A session on Monday.    I know you are trying to get everyone from the big 3 guilds to sign this note - which is fine.    I cannot guarantee a change but perhaps we can come up with something to reduce the strife.    In the mean time please try and keep the strife down - most of us are older now, we probably don't need the extra blood pressure.    El
  22. I have records of both raids and have referred it to the GM team for any action they feel is warranted - if any.    Locking this thread to avoid further escalation. 
  23. Even though you can visually differentiate a pop-rock from a regular rock? If you choose to take the hit then it may not be fair to call it over powered. :)
  24. Kahkarot,    I would ask this, and similar questions in game. The drop for both are well know though the latter is exceedingly (and intentionally) rare.
