If you don't keep refreshing your environment shields periodically, you can expect to be a glowing molten wreck in minutes at best. Code can only last so long with a lynch mob of crazy players beating on it day in and day out. On the bright side, that's nothing but good for the development process. Without us finding the weaknesses and errors in the code, you wouldn't know what to fix, eh? I've faith in you and the rest of the server devs; just have to endure a couple days to a week or so of chaos while things are fixed, and we'll have a nice, stable, smoother-running game than before. But now i get here and there a connection lost if gating. Here a screenshot where it happened at login, same sometimes at gating: That wasn't before with all the lag a issue. And in the last 3 hours i got more often asteroids with no ores shown in it (we had that already), but if i clicked, ores were prospected and correct with message looted. This would occur right after selecting a character, right? The game would go to the load screen as normal, then spontaneously exit, correct? Or is mine a different issue? Looted the hulkfield around Ruins of Jove City, went back to Jove's Fury to sell, then relogged to character select. Logged back in at Dahin sector, without the tradelevel I earned from selling the hulkfield loot. This problem continues to be the case. There's sporadic non-saving of character data. Or is mine a different issue? yes the shot i made was at login. The others where it happened at gating it was so fast closed i couldn't push the pause key so fa;). Btw i had one login in the last 3 hours where the null item bug was back and had to relog. I just got back from the store, had a bad craving for some ice cream and noticed the notifier icon had a red frown face on it. The PTR is still up though and empty. Anyone else having this problem? yep I know what this is about - I'm working on the solution. We had nearly 200 on this morning and there was no lag occurring - the lag mods are definitely moving the server in the right direction, we just have to follow through now. The opcode problem will be a thing of the past soon and at the same time login speeds, vendor click and terminal click will be noticably faster.
