[/quote] Funny cuz I just used it and the message popup said 14secs... L7 Group Sapping Sphere that is what its showing. Didn't test the lower levels as my PW hasn't been lower level in long time and only use the L7 flavor. But yes seems L5 Group Sap is a longer timer (either way they certainly are not 2Mins to recast, the 2mins is in relation to landing on same mob not reusing the skill).
  2. 95% of all problems/tickets posted are handled in less than 24hrs Sneaky. Your 2 (double posted) tickets were fixed in less than 12hrs turnaround time. EA GMs didn't even have that kind of response... Not saying we should be like them, but I think for the GM crew we handle things pretty rapidly although when playing 10mins seems like an hour in people's minds and that just expands exponentially. Foxninja somewhat accurate (most are normal players too) GM is volunteered time, sometimes we're on our play toons and may/may not see the requests in game (which is why Tickets are usually the best way as they don't get overlooked imo). But I certainly don't always even when on GM sit in game and watch the text scroll for someone to call for help (that's just silly). If I happen to catch it though will definitely assist. Where as Tickets get checked usually every 30mins (and don't pass by with all the normal chatter).

The 2min timer was on the same mob trying to resap. You could target another mob and sap after the normal 12sec (might be 14sec) reload/cooldown timer. Debuff of Weaken Impact Items (Taniwha's Pride, Gorgons, Skirmish Shields) and Gravity Link L5 (Max level for PS) are not stacking but they do stack with Gravity Link L7 (Max Level for PWs). So L5 Gravity Link would need to be brought in-line with L7 in the way debuffs are handled.

[/quote] Actually Turbo's are stacking (only one visual activated icon), but the underlying issue is weapons seem to have a hard coded reload limit somewhere around 55-57%, so with all the attainable turbo you really don't see the effect working. Easy way to see turbo stacking take L8 Pitbull beams (no other equipped turbo buff) and get all the activate-able turbo's possible on a Warrior class (PB-20, CVE-12, Aegis-5, PoC/FoC-7, Skull Shield-15)= 59% you should be able to cut the pitbulls down to 5sec reload from the 9secs (which is there limit) techincally should allow lower but that's the issue with reload we face. I think it is tied to PLs being so fast and the server keeping up with refire rates. But Im just speculating I dont know the underlying reason why weapons have a hard coded reload limit truth be told some DEV would better explain. Where as MLs and Beam by nature have slower initial reloads than already fast firing PLs, they should get some more adjustment from turbo where as PLs are already firing at 1sec reloads or less practically.

[/quote] Agree... the healers for example shouldnt get balanced so they can kill like a warrior... thats just silly.. Their job is to heal the warrior imo. Just a simplistic example from this peanut gallery (I'm not a decision maker ie DEV, I just fix your ingame problems where I can hehe). Balance was never a crucial focus of EnB and never should be. All classes and races are unique. Part of the reason you didnt see the 3 missing classes was Live DEVs were busy trying to find a way to properly implement them as well as EA not letting creative run to wild due to budget and eventual looming closure. But ya with them here it adds a whole new can of worms to tackle, and balancing shouldn't be a priority when we still have mission issues, lag issues, missing drops, etc etc etc... Those imo are fine tweaks that can be made once we address more important issues at this stage of the game which btw is Pre-Alpha. Just ask new players who never played EnB how it is trying to come into EnB with no guidance, no tutorial no help guide... They not to worried about their JE tanking a Raid... Thus attracting anything more then the current salt of the land we have in our seasoned veterans (yes I understand they need attention too but have to understand this isn't a full fledged game thats main focus is content - even though some DEVs try to give giblets of content here in there to wet our appetite. I direct those nay say'ers to other games that are even BETA stage and try to compare those to what we have here and the task the DEVs have to deal with in limited capacity/capabilities...

  9. Hull upgrades are equated to levels/equipment and cargo slots available. Has nothing to do with tiered weapons as compared to in WoW. That would be our items that go in said slots at the advanced levels/progression. Another problem with requiring Agrippa which is optional for progens to have done and locked out most older progens is not a good idea to tie to an entire opposite classes hull upgrade. Just keeping things on a level playing field look at the minimal amount of people who have completed all 3 stages of Agrippa as this mission requires up to stage 3 stuff. Pretty slim Pickens with the low active numbers this emu has when spread across the amount of people who play TS and hull upgrades are a necessity vs Agrippa optional/bonus content. Perhaps in a perfect more established game it might be reasonable to "force interaction", but to do now is not recommended IMO.
  10. You have done everything possible at L50. Talk to the Collegia Nota in Mars she lays out the road map for Tokens/Agrippa missions and at what levels. That list you posted was for all of stage 1 which is completed throughout L50-L100+
  11. EA and Earth & Beyond (in the font you are using) are most likely registered trademarks (EA certainly is). If I was home and had access to the box art and original manuals, there is some fine print in those regards so ya I would steer clear of this option unfortunately. Now you could come up with a whole new design in terms of the Earth & Beyond EMU and be on the safe side (read I am not a legal representative). Unfortunately we're living in a patent/copyright infringement lawsuit happy world these days... Just ask Apple's legal department they seem to be good at it.
  12. Well its not entirely due to TOR coming out soon. But there was an article on Engadget that SOE was closing completely due to losing money or something along those lines. Some department of Sony was folding which would include the MMO side of things. Was posted about a week or so ago before I started vacation and then 2 days ago got the notice of SWG closing so wasn't a surprise much less the game wasn't all that great anyways... Ah well another one bites the dust, we'll see how TOR fares for the masses.
  13. When you do the Agrippa Missions that shield line is added to your build list (hence you can make as many as you have the materials to make em ) In reference to the Skirmish Omega (L9) shield its just gathering the correct mats/methods and you'll be able to make plenty.

Discordite, Apollonite, Raw Eye Stone, Raw Flawless Ruby, Hades Blood, Brood Oil, Horosium, Curium, Titanium, Rhodite, Radium are some good ones to start with (used in ammo ) I'm sure others will have some suggestions as far as ores used to manufacture actual items but the above list should cover down on ammo comps. I'm sure the L9 Ore folks will speak up in those terms.

  17. Well I got about 45mins more battery life on my Netbook when I tossed a SSD in it, 30mins less when I used a 7200rpm vs the stock 5400... So mileage varies I guess.

So the DEV who created the mission was in err and same logic should apply... But Progen would pitch a B fit guaranteed if it and its ammo get removed too...
  19. Most likely 11"-13" range. Im curious if theyre gonna use the Sandy Bridge Intel 3000HD or go with a discrete... I hope the latter... The other curiousity is how long the battery lasts. So far these form factors have been about all day battery life not game power houses. A few have made some compromise between it all but never weighed in favor on one area over the other. But hey this is technology always moving forward! Im just glad its finally gettin its butt in gear in ultra thins!

  21. Wow didnt need to turn this into a fight... Ya useless may of been bad choice, it works for some but even in the DoD we don't use it. Sorry I can't post you any proof but we have builds called AGM/AFGM of the OS that are far more locked down and controlled than UAC provides. I've worked with USAA IT, and a couple of other large corporations that all do not use it. Most MCSE and MCITP instructors despise it too. Sure its more a preference but fact of the matter is it was flawed in Vista and made a little better in Win7 and main target usage was for home users security. Doesn't mean its 100% safe doesn't mean it doesn't serve a purpose. Just majority folks who prefer to be actual admin's over their systems will dump that in my dealings. I also wasn't trying to say you had to disable it, I guess I wrote as my preferred methods as an option. No need for either yall to get panties in bunch on whos got the bigger... ya lets just help peeps get in the game
  22. FYI if you disable the *useless* UAC (User Account Control) in Vista and Win7 that removes the requirements to Run as Admin permanently across your OS (and requires a reboot). But you will still need to set for compatibility mode on the following exe for smooth operation. All may not be required to be done but for good measure apply to any executable that applies to game. Below are the default install locations (you will have to search or change the paths to accommodate your custom install of course if you have one. Dont forget to run E&BConfig set your desired resolution, and run the test to ensure save after you have configured your Run As Admin and Compatibility Mode on the files below. c:\net7\bin\launchnet7.exe c:\net7\bin\net7proxy.exe c:\net7\bin\launcher.exe for 32bit OS c:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\release\client.exe c:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\ebconfig\e&bconfig.exe for 64bit OS for 32bit OS c:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\release\client.exe c:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\ebconfig\e&bconfig.exe When set right on these you shouldn't experience any issues with the game running (not to be confused with bugs/ctds inside the game ) I attached some screenshots of the areas from Windows 7 x64 OS to give you idea.

[/quote] Yea it was client.exe, I didnt get a chance to glance at the net7proxy.exe (totally forgot) just had sorted by mem & cpu usage, and client.exe was thru the roof. Was inside doing Fishbowl (affected a group killing) those not in the group didnt seem to grow memory usage as fast) others reported it happening at Mordana raid too (basically as time progressed with continual group killing would just blow the client.exe memory through the roof and eventually crash as I assume system had no more memory to cough up.
