Before we restart the server we need to make sure there is a server problem.

Buffs not displaying, reactor bars sporadic (mostly not working), shield bars sporadic... confirmed by myself, guildies and many others reporting the same things in various chats.   

 

While I do not claim to understand the underlying issues, I know the last couple of restarts have been for these stated reasons and seem to rectify.  Thanks Zackman

Job terminals are sporadic at best, devices do not have timers, and shield and reactor bars are no longer working properly, so you're basically blind to power and shields. Please reboot. Pretty please?

Sorry for the vagueness, Zachman. As the other stated, we're no longer seeing buff icons in the upper right corner. Client stability is way down - I'm seeing an increase in crashes and hangs, along with delays in activating warp and skills.

 

These are the exact same issues I have sen prior to the last two reboots.

Houston ? we have a problem .. 

The same indicators are present now, as the last time the server approached or exceeded 600 hours uptime .

Buffs not shown in top right corner of display.

Reactor and shield indicators are not current, thus not reliable. .. combat and mining are seriously compromised.

Timers on reactors, engines, devices are not shown.... VERY, very difficult for combat.

So yes please , the server needs to be restarted, IT is the problem for this issue.

I've been playing this emu since it was in Stress Test 2 , so I kinda know whats up here.

Just FYI, this is not a qualifier for diagnosing this. About four different components can be involved in this, and it's not always the "server." What you all see as 'the server' is just an exe running on one of the boxes.

At any rate, it should be fixed now.

Net-7 launcher says the server is up, but I get "Server Failed to respond to Login attempt".

Not seeing any issues here. Admittedly it's the next day and all but show 56 online and was able to log in myself.

It is beyond my skill to heal, it needs Elvish medicine.

Should be back up. At any rate, bedtime for work. It let me in, The game server is working. If there's still an issue, let me know and I will investigate as soon as I can in the am.
