MightyMike
I would like to see, for example in the ship inventory screen, a small number that displays the total dps. That way you can easily see, if you change weapons, what change you have. Offcourse not calculating buffs etc, just informational. (damage\reload=dps) Yea what can I say, I just like those stats..hehe Cheers,
lpalgarvio[IS]
nice idea adding one more: show DPS on weapons (both terminal and built/looted ones) i remember thinking of this on live

C Del[IS]
Hmm. I'm almost positive we can't add any stats to the equipment screen, but I think we might be able to add DPS to the item descriptions. We also could add a slash command to show your current total DPS. lpalgarvio[IS]
that would do it
Slayerman
I guess this maybe a time when i could give you a sneak preview of my next Portal addition I intend on adding a 'hover' with stats for the device which SHOULD include DPS Let me know what you all think... I have no ETA for the arrival of this, im hoping soon, but currently having issues getting the CSS to work cross browser (I hate Internet Explorer)
Murdered
Love it, would you be able to look up anyone's setup or just your own Toons? Would Love to be able to look up someone elses and compare my own to theirs.
Slayerman
Love it, would you be able to look up anyone's setup or just your own Toons? Would Love to be able to look up someone elses and compare my own to theirs. My plan, not saying this will make it in anytime soon, is to have it set by the owner of the toon. Im going to apply 3 options Private (default) - Owner Only Guild - Guild Members Only Public - Everyone Currently you are able to view your own toons only.
lpalgarvio[IS]
great addition slayer! will love this pm me if you need help with CSS. i know a few tricks to circumvent IE, like dealing with box models
Slayerman
CSS isnt my strong point, and im always looking for help. Had a few helpers in the past, but they have all disappeared slowly. So i may be looking for new helpers soon
Tienbau
there is a DPS dump that lists the actual DPS with all the bonuses etc for BETA+ and above; we could restrict it to the player only so you can see all your stats. Murdered
Tienbau so there already is a command that you can use that will dump a list of your DPS in chat window? If thats so whats the command, would love to see how much damage total my PW does now.
Kyp [LDEV]
It's just /dps I believe Maniac, but right now it's limited to accounts of Beta+ level and higher. We can prolly change it without too much fuss though.
Kenu [CDEV]
I see no reason why players should not use this command
Murdered
Kenu the reason would be for me a comparing dps of different ammo and gun types, also nice to know your exact dps with various turbo bonuses. Ive only been able to figure out base dps and its only rough estimate. The "over the mob" damage counters dont exactly keep up with how much dmg your doing, tends to either lag/delay what your actually doing. Also on another note, Should'nt the weapons show a change in their delay when you equip a turbo item? Example: Bile cannon at 200% is 1.3 delay Equip FoM which has 40% turbo equiped Shouldn't the Bile 1.3 delay change to a lower number? .78 delay? Just another thing i noticed. Kyp [LDEV]
Kenu was agreeing with making the command available. (at least that's how I read it)
Murdered
Oh lol, took it wrong
Tienbau
/dps lists mob dps, doesn't work on players, but there is a player /stats command that dumps everything, I was thinking we could restrict that to the player issuing the command for regular players. EDIT I'm wrong - I added a command to do this AGES ago, and everyone can use it. use /displaydps and then fire any one of your weapons, you'll get the approx DPS for it. Murdered
Ok thx for telling me the command, but is there anyway to have a command to show DPS for all guns at the same time?
Tienbau
Ok thx for telling me the command, but is there anyway to have a command to show DPS for all guns at the same time? not one that you can get to at this point in time, no.
