I duel box, I never duel box in major combat but when it comes to running job mobs or missions sure. I am assuming others duel box with a multi computer setup. I enjoy the fact that I do not need to find a trustworthy player to trade items. I also enjoy the fact that I can kill and loot low level unique devices for my alt. I would never go to a raid with more then one account. I am in the Alt - Tab fan club so i don't get much done in the way of severely impacting my combat. I myself find it silly for a person to duel box on two TW's or even two PW's but to each there own, Don't hurt multi-boxers... just set a limit. Three is a good number to have. if you (anyone) find that a multi boxer is constantly abusing this by lets say mass ks'ing a single player then take it up with them and if its justified take it to the next step. thats my 2 cents. "warp damn it... I am so sick of gravity wells" .

Let me start with a comment. I do assume that there is a small dislike for Progens in the dev circle. Do I feel it is a pure hatred ? no. Do I feel like the devs seem to do some small devilish things? sure but it isn't to the full point yet were "we" the players feel persecuted. I think that the removal of the Pw being able to solo "some" things and the increase in quality damage is not fair due to the fact that the original dev documents from live should be interpreted but not implemented fully due to the fact that we are not at "full" live capacity. (I love the community feel to this though and part of me selfishly wants to keep it small ) That being said. I hope the suggestion to have a repair quality skill implementation will be entertained. Repair Quality post . . I also feel that there are two types of players in the game. The kind that wants to solo ( usually a duel boxer but not always ) The kind that wants to group the reason I dislike quality loss from most things ( except bosses/raids) is as follows. Say you have a nice lev 9 Black Streak (GIMMIE ONE!!) its 100 quality set forth when looting. You decide to fight in a non raid and boom it takes 2-3-4 percent quality loss??? you'll want a new one so you find a good group to help you loot a new one, you take one away from some one who does not have one at all. if its a unique but tradeable item you will give it to some one who could use it and probably does not have a beam toon that is there primary. if it's non trade well you know. Accept the fact that quality loss will happen when / as it should but do not let non raid mobs hurt you severely. also its not right to have the quality loss occur when your into hull and not destroyed. this would render a progen useless because it was meant to fly around always burning from its battle scars I am assuming there are like minded people to this idea. everyone has there own opinions. FYI. Keep up the good work. - Time for me to donate again ( hint to everyone else )

I think this is a great idea. leave BBW open but fight to get dock access. it depends if we are going to present this as a democracy, if you let people vote then so be it. some people don't realize that the whole factioning process was a Money/time sink (As I stated in previous posts) The Emulator is not driven by money but more for the love of the game so lets keep it sort of the way it is. BBW open but you need to fight your way through to gain access to the docks. I vote to keep BBW open but may be add some risk to keep it interesting. some kind of random encounter every now and then as you gate in.

basically ( i never understood this from live ) Smugglers run should be a dangerous but open zone due to the fact that the pirates inhabit it. by that thought process i never knew why you would have to gain the red dragons favor to decide to use there gates... there stations I understand but if we decide to lock BBW and revert it to the old live way then will we be able to do more then grind to get faction? farming for faction just like buying cement blocks was a time/money sink put in by the old developers these were ways to keep us occupied. Think of this. . . . You gate to BBW and have a random encounter, could be a run in with Red Dragons . . . It could be a run in from your own kind asking why you are smuggling. the possibilities are endless, do you fight? bargains ? or run like hell.

I want to know if the intention is to have the game back to live ( almost ) exact. can these three questions that plague most people's minds 1 - Will BBW be opened in the next ST / Live as it is now. 2 - Will Tado be opened as it is now (I vote yes on both by the way) and three. will the ability to level slow down? or will we stay at the pace we are.

A strictly TS weapon would be great, I like the idea of a sniper type of gun. Hearing you all talk about a TS makes me want to go make one ( and that is what I am going to do !!!!) A sniper weapon were you would have to stay still, have it devastate a single mob (to a point) and have it cost much energy or have it make you stuck for 30 seconds to 1 min. (think of self destruct from live) the only bad part about this is make sure you cant have a pack of TS'es that sits around and ks'es a boss in a raid. so if you do not want to go for pure damage have this weapon slow/stop the mob or have it drain its reactor, I mean you have many combinations to coose from. I can just foresee if it is a long range gun 1-2 groups of TS'es can KS a raid.

Ahh my favorite skill. Shield inversion did not have a timer. once it was activated, it would slowly drain your shields dealing damage to the mob. it was not untill later when you had the area inversion did it bounce and hit other enemies. the problem with this is you would cause arago to neutral mobs some times. it would not hit green (friendlies) and I do remember you had to be very careful around gate turrets for a time till they fixed it. There was no timer, you would stop when the shield ran out. it was my favorite weapon starting my pw in live from beta in the noob zone. back then you would have to stay close to home for quite a while. I had mine at level 3 when beta became live and we got our founder federation tags. and yes, when you were close another Progen and they had at least burn it grouped out, was a pretty light show at raids. FYI... Vinda drones in nif have the ability ( at least they did untill skills were turned off) so if you want to see how they do it go ahead and observe assuming they were not changed from live. The cool thing about SI is you would be able to use it in a area you are farming and change targets , same with lower levels, you could attack one mob with it to keep it from recharging and focus on shooting on another. of cores you would have to turn it off and turn it back on to re-target ( it would not jump from mob to mob) but again... thats why area (nova) was fun.

The Drones in BBW have it rough. they get cool weapons and they are harder to solo but they are getting lonely. My crew noticed you no longer get faction The Red Dragons do not care about them anymore. this makes the Han style drones cry. the controller robbed them of there good cargo and gave them scraps to carry around. so they just sit around and look at each other in the hopes some silly low level PP will fly by Paramas gate so they can go to town on him. On the first day, some crazy Pw shot 63 of the drones and did get away with a hand full of useless components ( lev 9 ) and one level 9 device that he promptly gave away. Please won't you help out at Drone-aid. they have plenty of mouth's to feed and there children are crying.

Stop me if i am wrong (because I do not remember) but did the BBW drones on the high end above 50 shoot missiles at you? I guess a part of that question is can you tell me what tech they use? i'd hate to have a mob with high level Misses and beams. There speed has been cranked way up. I get it... Make it a challenge but to remove the drops , the ends don't justify the means. I believe they are overpowered but that's just me That won't stop me from killing them, I guess till i run out of ammo money :->

The game can be quite consuming, Nothing like furthering your character and in this case characters.

I do not see the problem with the Net 7 software displaying an ad of sorts. its just like any web site. Don't worry about turning off new players , worry about keeping us alive. I don't want you guys to fall short on the donations, this is why i suggested some type of ad. its just as i went to play a flash game on the net, most are littered with ads, if you keep it to a minimum and tasteful, not a billion popups, im sure most would not mind I am not suggesting a facebook Bull@#$#@ system were you need to pay for premium content... Ever watch TV Via Hulu? same thing, dead free but they get ad revenue. Why wouldn't it be legal to have some kind of ad on your own created software? if I am barking up the wrong tree tell me so, it's just that most of us are in the same money pit as the rest of the world, others just want to play and could care less how the costs are covered. That being said I HATE Ads as much as I hate Spyware. I just don't want to see the money shortage endangering the game and progress so far.

Ability to start one instance of EnB with out opening another version of the launcher. and if there is any way to do this... skip the EnB intro (if you so choose). I dislike on the rare times the game totally crashes and your trying to g get back quickly, the intro movie pops up. Last thing. Since most people perfer not to donate may be you could do something in the way of ad revenue. work it in to the n7 launcher. TO the Dev's here. its admirable . . . . if you would like to work hard then release it. I am down for open source as much as the next person.. I like that most people like to make things to be freely distributed to the world but understand the work that will be involved. I suggest you work on this and it will be a constant work in progress so don't waste your time entertaining people's notions that you HAVE to release what you have done. I know very little of the split you guys are referring to but i do watch some chats about people who try to gain info on how to make there own server by guilting people here in various ways. I just want to say I am appreciative this game is back, also I dig the fact that the current crew is trying to expand on what EnB used to be. I am so happy that I have and will continue to donate to the project. These folks are living there own lives and doing this stuff on the side. I love that fact. Its mostly for the love of the game. Here is a simple solution you like this one stay here you like there's .... Go there its the right of the people who developed this version of the game to keep there work to themselves. its there choice to branch out and give what they have done away. All I can tell you is there is room on the Internet for both to exist. I get the feeling some people on the forum are plants trying to get this staff to release code and database info , when they do not get there way, they attack personally ( not in this post but in previous) I am happy to play this game, as i'm sure many others are. if you are not attempting to "borrow" everything and start your own EnB server then drop it and continue to play.

Funny . . . this brings back memory's of the Gouz Battle plans on Andromeda . . . I wish i saved the link because this is very similar and posted on there home page.

I get people want a challenging... but i sense some want it to be increasingly too difficult. here is my take on this subject, do not make "Classic live" raids harder then they were in live Make bigger, better , harder epic encounters for new content. Not everyone has 10-15 hours a day to play the game. Just a afterthought.

I believe you can loot while already cloaked but you can't start cloaking while looting. id imagine this would be so in the sudo science fiction world of EnB you couldn't start the cloaking process while your tractor beam was on. Once you are cloaked you could silently pull in loot
