  1. Well, the one thing I completely agree with is suggesting the raids be activated. Or even instanced if possible. I think that would solve some of the problems, or at least I hope it would.
  2. Originally, the "arrangement" was started between the larger guilds due to conflicts that arose from them all competing for the same raid at the same time. VGE, and I would imagine other large guilds have helped others with these raids at times. [b]Nobody is being excluded, period[/b]. If a small guild can do it, go for it. In live I was a member of a small guild, we made friends with a big guild and were soon taking part in raids we couldn't possibly do. As others have said, maybe it's time to set aside the agreement and we can all just go for it together. edit to bold the important part.
  3. VGE's day was Monday, however, the upset was not caused by the controller, but GoBB that was gone on Monday. Which narrows down the list of those able to take him to a few guilds and a couple of individuals that can succesfully multibox him. As Bell said, if the agreement between the players is not upheld, it will not stand, and go back to how it used to be.
  4. To be honest, in live the nav was huge, you could see the leaking ship easily from the salvage station. You had to thrust or free warp towards it to get the nav point to show up. It was just a bit smaller than the Earthcorps ships located in the top right of the sector.

  9. The waves do graduate in difficulty up to Nessix for the most part. After that they kinda go down a bit and level off with the exception of the boss, who is a little tougher each wave. The only aggravation factor in FB that I have is the runaway fish that require searching out, and having someone sit by Boony to see the message if you have nailed the last one, or not.
  10. I really don't want to see another wipe, for all of the same reasons given above. However, I will list some of the reasons for waning population on the server. Some are factual, some are perceived. Other recent game releases, prolly #1 in low player count lately. Lack of "new" content introduced. This one is a biggie for many folks I know. Boredom leads to not playing this game and going elsewhere. New sectors have been built and opened a long time ago, lets open DT, the Maelstroms, etc. Everyone like new stuff. Favoritism, there I have said it. It's perceived, whether true or not. Certain people can do things ingame nobody else can do, they know who they are and I won't mention names here. The Devs have done an awesome job getting things to where they are here. I remember during st2 the massive bugs, most things didn't work at all, etc. And now look at the state of the game, for all intents and purposes really playable in all regards. Sure there are still things that don't work correctly, but for the most part it's coming right along very well. If there has to be a wipe, so be it. I'll still be here, and hopefully most folks will too.
  11. It's broken, David is aware and working on it. He has a post up in the news section concerning it.
  12. The only raid that was setup with 1 group in mind was the Mordana, iirc. Larger groups to complete raids would be cool, once the server can handle it. Right now 2 or 3 groups is max combined with mobs before major lag sets in. FB is a pain currently due to mobs having to be searched for to complete each spawn. Mob AI is a pain at times due to them always trying to run away, we have had FB mobs go out of bounds, GoBB does also if you don't have a JD along. If the mobs are supposed to be "kiting" the player, their range needs to be decreased. Having mobs run out to 12k away to kite you just means you have to chase them down, which results in them going out of bounds. Not fun. As far as doing GoBB with less than a group... show me! Cause he hits hard as hell, and the tank usually needs 3-4 healers to stay alive.

  14. Yes, many sites need compatability mode to render properly. BTW, just tried it again, and works fine.
  15. I went to look at the new feature yesterday, and was not able to get back to the forums. I got a 505 error on the browser. Using IE 9.

  17. I play in Window mode all the time, scroll lock has always worked fine for me. Win7 Pro
  18. I don't know if Paypal is slow, or the donation tracker isn't updating, but I donated yesterday and it doesn't show on the tracker. Got my paypal receipt yesterday, so I know the transaction went through.

  20. Any of you who played during beta or live will remember that [b]nothing[/b] introduced to the game ever stayed as originally installed. There were always adjustments made to balance the game. I have read the patch notes several times, and though it was a very long time ago, I just don't remember sap having the 2 minute timer clear up until sunset. I could be wrong, cause I too am an old guy and the memory is the second thing to go. I do remember when at all possible putting SP's into sap, even before other base skills because of how useful it was. TB, I'm curious... when you tested sap in a raid environment, were you using a regular play account with no "special" gear or abilities? I only ask this because I attend lots and lots of raids, and I have yet to see a pw capable of self sustaining a raid environment. I can guarantee you, were it not for us healers, those progens would be smoking wrecks on the battle field. BTW, I'm not trying to be a smartaleck here, genuinely querious.
