  1. Not possible. Each dismantle has a possibility of losing parts, which is incalculable in a batch process. The batch command is designed for creating ammo stacks or component stacks because their end result is ALWAYS 200%.
  2. Topic closed. Trolling for deliberate animosity. Multiboxing was permitted even in the live game, providing you could support multiple PCs and phone lines. Technologically, permitting it here as implemented is an evolution.
  3. There was a coding glitch on this mission at step 9. Players stuck on it should type /fmu, forfeit the datapad update mission, and then the bugged step should update to a modified version. There was also an issue where Terrans could not obtain the mission : resolved
  4. Verify this thread for Windows 8 installs : https://forum.enb-emulator.com/index.php?/topic/8167-windows-8/ Also make sure that the following files have administrator privileges and are running in compatibility mode where applicable for Windows 7 or Windows XP SP3: "client.exe" in your EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\release folder "net7proxy.exe" and "LaunchNet7.exe" in Net-7\bin
  5. It won't work in the ship equipment window to swap stacks, as the shift-click would have to detect what kind of weapon you have installed in what slot. It's a complete reverse of the mechanism the client has currently where the weapon runs out of ammo and scans your cargo for the first available stack of the right type.
  6. On the top right corner of the launcher, under "Help" choose "Advanced Settings" then "Force Update"   If that does not solve the problem, you may have to uninstall and re-install the Net-7 interface. In that eventuality, make sure that you download the latest version of Net-7 from the portal.
  7. Set compatibility mode for the tool to Windows XP service pack 2. Then right click and run it as administrator.
  8. I will clarify a point here, and hopefully this will help everyone understand a thing or two.   I "moderated" the discussion in the "Drop Rate" thread because that is a place where players can interact with Evermore and other staff (including myself) to verify that objects listed as dropping actually are. Actual drop locations are never discussed there, and one or two players asking for such (albeit from rumor or other player knowledge) in a thread dedicated to other ends is basically a hijack, however unintentional. You have a player nurtured, fed, and watered wiki for posting drop locations and other information, and we encourage it's use and development by the player base.   Quite frankly, and as several other staff members have also mentioned, we are pretty tolerant of discussions in here that are off-topic of off-purpose for some threads and their locations. A properly moderated and directed forum would not necessarily be as interesting, or as popular.   And since I'm the "bad guy", and my name has been dropped, I'm going to lock this thread. I don't see anything productive here.
  9. Sunrise was restarted today to address a bug and exploit issue.   The /craft command has been disabled; players have reported being able to manufacture complete craft sets (max cargo hold) using only 1 component set.   The Polar Express has been observed working incorrectly as regards the added cargo capacity. This buff has been removed.   A player was banned for a repeated questionable behavior regarding manufacturing/dismantling and selling components. Pending investigation.   Thank you for your patience.   We would like to remind you that exploiting a bug is NOT tolerated and invite you to report these issues as they are discovered. Failure to do so can have undesired consequences.
  10. .. oh shit, you mean it's an "R" in that, and not a "D" ??? ... and here I thought it was "Explode" class ...
  11. Farnham's Freehold - Robert A. Heinlein
  12. I'll expand on this : Even adding administrator to a shortcut will NOT necessarily allow admin access to sequential triggered executables.   Example : If I'm running the launcher as admin (LaunchNet7.exe), it does not grant the same level permission to the proxy (net7proxy.exe) or the game client (client.exe). You have to individually add those permissions at the file in it's own directory, as well as change their compatibility settings.
  13. hmm, a way to note co-ords for future reference .. your Captain's Log maybe .. just a thought   and to get there .. Perhaps monsieur / madame would like an auto-pilot to drive you right there after you undock from zee station?  :P Perhaps you have come to us by way of EVE ?   Learn To Free Warp.
  14. The Black Kirin EMP Laser San is also actively assigned and dropping.   Umm, and just as a side note, this thread serves to facilitate and confirm questions about whether items drop or not. While participation is encouraged and willingness to help is appreciated, WHERE and WHAT MOB is never discussed.   Any more drop locations posted in the course of discussion here will result in the thread being locked.
  15. First, make sure the 4 boxes on the launcher are all checked off. -  (Packet Optimization, Prototype Reorder, Disable Mouse Lock, and Delete TH6 Files)   Second, make sure that all executables are running as administrator, and are in compatibility mode for pre-Windows 10. -  The files are (shown here is the default path, your install may differ) : --  C:\\Program Files (x86)\Net-7\bin\LaunchNet7.exe --  C:\\Program Files (x86)\Net-7\bin\net7proxy.exe --  C:\\Program Files (x86)\\EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\release\client.exe   I suggest using compatibility for Win XP Service Pack 2, especially on the net7proxy file. This usually solves most handoff issues.
  16. All of those are actively dropping. All are assigned to regularly spawning mobs. Happy hunting.
  17. First, make sure all your executables are running in compatibility mode for XP service pack 3. Second, make sure that all also are flagged to run as administrator. Run EBconfig.exe and set it to windowed mode and adjust the resolution to the same as your desktop's chosen setting. After, for tweaking window size, follow cimbad's earlier post regarding registry entries.
  18. Check also to see if you are actually trying a direct link to the HTTPS instead of HTTP; In most browsers that will usually cause a 403.
  19. Here's an idea. I've already said we're going to look at the long term solution (the pragmatic one) and see what can be done.   Until we have an analysis (which Evermore and I are working on) and implement some tweaks, further discussion is moot. Why ? Because we're focused on what we're doing.   So unless you want a reply like this "Matt : terminals don't do item exchanges" or "GHB : Do you really want to have to rely on an explore class to refine your ammo comps?" between times when I'm working, sleeping or trying to get some progress made when we're both available, please be patient until we finish the work that we've started. And I don't have a target date :-P
  20. Now that was the pragmatic response. :D A discussion could be made for reviewing the numbers by ammo type recipes available, that cobalt and amber as crossover types (working for both missile and projectile) should drop more prevalently than ossified and flaming which are only used in a single type for either one. I'll look into the current rates with Kyp and a couple of other people on the team and we'll see what numbers get crunched.
  21. As far as the coding goes, it's simple to code a 1:1 trade like ribs for teeth, because it's a single in/out. There aren't multiple types involved. If there was a demand for the reverse it could also be easily done. Much like the Fritz brothers / Hanz + Franz (don't really remember the NPC names) stuff in DT.   As I stated earlier, it's not simple to code the multiple type detection in cargo and multiple possible output for the flavor trades. Why not have a trade also that allows you as a PW to trade the unused flavors you cannot use like Flaming for Ossified ? That would also seem logical, no ? Surely some player out there would prefer that option. And someone else would rather have a different trade to suggest for their play style or preference.   So in my opinion, yes, it would be "unfair" to do it for a single type for your personal preference, which is what I was pointing out. Others may disagree, as you do. I don't see how making that point is a "straw man" response. I am however listening to "The Wicker Man" while typing this. Up the Irons.
  22. GHB : Implementing that for one type only would be unfair. Coding that would have to take into account detection of what is in cargo, and if multiple types are present. Too much room for error. I can already see someone trading the wrong stack for something they don't want and requesting a GM.
  23. Several mob changes were part of the most recent push, not all of them immediately visible. Effectively, the L52 Chavez Commander was one of them, and is MIA at that spawn. This has been corrected for next patch.
