  1. Tumeric. Var's high level mission that awards SOL points to a Token Mission to be done around level 100. This is the 'Equip Shields' chain and Var's High level mission requires you to be able to equip Level 9 shields (ie you have put in maximum points into Shield Tech, not build shields). If you have not done this Token mission, you will be (certainly from the next patch) excluded from Capture The Cargo. SOL are a means of obtaining entry into Stage II of Agrippa Technology in future. That is all they will be available for in the long term. No weapons not created by Agrippa Technology will be in the rewards for all the build line missions. You hand over your SOL and attempt to do the examination for Stage II. Failure may mean obtaining another SOL. I cannot confirm if the SOL will unlock combat bases instances in future. If you can currently get BB ammo samples then good luck, because these will be gone from the mission in the next patch.
  2. PD used to be the 'AFK' or help ive got to recharge skill. It would fool almost any mob and could be used to observe a battle if required.
  3. According to the original design docs, the TS was only meant to have 3 weapons and 6 devices (but this proved too weak). The line of weakness: Progen pwn Terran or Jenquai as we all know and agree that Progen are vastly superior. Class line of firepower: Warrior pwn Trader pwn Explorer ** Deeply into Progen Pysche as writing content **
  4. Do you have your Symbol of Loyalty in your cargo hold when you go and speak to him? If the game has been recently patched, no they won't be in game. Memnon does seem to have a lot of iron eater cytoplasm for some strange reason.
  5. The symbol of loyalty is the use-once key to unlock some content (present or future). Certainly, the BB samples are becoming scarce, as Gatekeeper Memnon is having reduced stocks.
  6. Woudn't a scrap merchant be better situated at somewhere like Orsoni Mining Corp?
  7. There has been something in the works for Progen, but will require extensive coding.
  8. There is a big hunk of semi-planetoid called Vali in Odins Belt. The ship is the level 30 HU. Hes doing the level 75 for PS
  9. The developer who did those missions has left the project but this is the mission line to your hull upgrade: Hold your foe - Exploit enemy weakness - Drain those Halbites - Overwhelming force - Speak with Augustus Var - Hull Upgrade It is a chain, failing to do one of the previous missions (may not be spelt correctly by myself) will fail in you getting a hull upgrade. Do the missions in order and you should be happy. The mission "A Warriors Promotion" simply updates when you have reached a certain level with hints as to where you may want to go to do the next stage. It will be with you until level 150, and is an aid-memoir for obtaining higher hull missions. It also give Centuriata faction, experience and Tokens later on.
  10. Also when using the launcher check your certificate is valid.
  11. BB will not be able to be got from a Progen Mission. { well the ammunition may still be available - for a month} Also the content I'm curently trying to complete is for before the final hull level. Untin this is completed, don't expect content from myself for the higher levels. Foundations have to be completed in the game. I've tried to start with the analyze/dismantle/build content to give as much chance to people of getting this path sorted. It will require player interraction, and this will not change. Symbol of Loyalty was always intended to allow progen players into Stage II of Agrippa Technology. However, until the current Token mission content have been completed and until Stage I items and missions have been implemented, Stage II will be not around. For high level content currently go to the high level non-progen sectors. Don't expect the token missions that are being fleshed out to be able to be done by yourself - if you are past this mission stage. You got to experience a lot of other missions (and rewards, remember CFB, Warriors heart 9...) that are not in the game as mission rewards and/or mob drops instead. Swings and roundabouts. There is a lot to do between level 75 - 100 and 100 - 135 on Token missions, however none of these will be analyze / building as these Token missions currently are in the game. The ones remaining tend to be combat / evade skills which should be a lot easier to create missions for. PTR server is there for players wanting to see the Token missions. Only the Agrippa Technology missions require other classes to interract, these have the foundations implemented so I can now work on the more solo missions, that will just give token experience, faction or credits.
  12. Simple, The Agrippa Technology line is a very minute area of content that is created for the multiple interraction content of the game. It is hard and demanding, and you'll probably shedd blood sweat and tears doing it. Then you'll probably get to a block until another progen class researches an item. It is more like a relay race. And yes, it does involve interractions with different classes. Because, it is about developing new ingame items, primarily for Progen. You will get no experience or credits for these Agrippa Technology missions, eventually. You get a blueprint. Agrippa Technology creations will require interractions between all 3 progen classes to research the items, but this doesn't mean you will have to group to complete the mission. Dedicated builders may have an easier time though. Agrippa Technology is there for the serious builders of items. Otherwise select other 'optional' token missions. And Agrippa Technology Stage I is only for Progen Characters. The Collegia is developing gear to rival InfinitiCorp and sees no reason to implement builds that the Terran Trader or Jenquai Seeker could easily copy. The security in requiring different Progen Classes in these builds creates blocks in Terrans or Jenquai also analyzing the gear. Stage II will have some specialist invites in, and this will be less reliant on other classes. Stage I is the 'hardcore' researcher team, several classes togther. Agrippa Technology is about working together as has been stated many times in the past. However, as i've yet to play WoW I don't believe that I've taken anything from that game. I do do other roleplaying, namely, Delta Green, Dark Heresy, ShadowRun. Agrippa Technology simply takes the component builder requirement of most builds to another level, when one of the components is an item outside your build tree. You don't need to group up, and natural pressure will allow people to get to stages. Trying to implement missions that do not all seem the same but with a different kill takes some thought. Agrippa Technology is designed to let Sentinels and Warriors in particular feel that their build skills are still worthwhile. > Removal of Brimstone Ballista from mission line: YES. > Removal of Crimson Force Barrier from mission line: Happened 5 months ago...
  13. According to the GM. "You have already completed this mission". So save your token and move on! This means you will be automatically entered for any bonus missions on this content!!! It was only very limited experience.
  14. Something that gives off a huge signature because anyone that tries to stop a true Progen is going to regret it.
  15. Sorry, Growlz is currently back in Detention Centre Onorom for her anti-Vinda comments. Its' for the best really. Although trying to keep her in is like trying to nail jelly to a wall.
  16. No you need the very special Agrippa Technology component that was first on the list (Privateers who have done their Agrippa Technology mission can supply it): And there are 9 different components on that list. If you hit 'next' you probably missed the first part of the list as that part of the talk tree may go by quickly. You have not written all of them down... I suggest you pay more attention to the talk tree next time. You have only written down the last 5 on the list.
  17. Worm bits are meant to be dropping from alpha worms, ill send this to a mob developer. This mission is for both warriors and privateers. Agrippa Technology missions is all about relying on more than just yourself, you have to interract with other classes. At least the early stages of it is. Besides, it'll give the warriors to think about collecting them for more than their current use! I've asked a {GM} to look at mob table, I don't know if it will be fixed for you until the next push over.
  18. Yes, the restore quinique should be a hulk drop when live. Hopefully, I've gone and fixed that for the next push over in one of the roid zones in Progen sectors, just don't expect it to be common.
  19. So you did not receive any messages on your screen? You should have received a navigation message at each stage. Unless the stage increases you will fail to complete the mission. Aha! I've done it myself on the play server. Unless you have all the specified components including the one you need from a privateer (This component is a mission reward and should not be given out by GMs, ask a privateer). Unless when you reach the nav point you deselect it (select something else). The stage will not update if you still have it selected. GM help should not be sought for this mission. The mission works fine.
  20. Same as live. Kill what you can afford to loot, anything you don't loot in the specified standard time period then is flotsam or roadkill and is open to any scavanger to search. Kill more and expect lurking opportunistic Jenquai (cowards ** Progen Terminology) to not do the honorable thing and stand still and wait for the enemy to fall by your shield nova or projectiles in a 3-4km radius easy to find with scan and can be searched. No! The inferior genetic strains in this galaxy choose to either hide and backstab or fire missiles at a range where they will not suffer any scratch to their overpriced vessels. Long live The Progen Republic.
  21. Well Grav Link was the only way some progen could catch up with some mobs! { incidentally, self destruct was also used as a under 10 second way to scare mobs away, like a 'poor mans' menace )
  22. Yes. All hull upgrades are independant of any other mission. Done this way to guarantee people actually get a hull upgrade. The master mission is there to: 1. Inform you where you should go to get your next hull upgrade 2. Reward you with the correct experience and your class faction 3. Supply the Tokens that unlocks limited secondary content which require certain skills at certain levels 4. Completed at level 150 with a final 'hurrah' of experience. The master mission will advance with your level and each time you get a hull upgrade. Unlike the level 150+ characters that went through the more * ugly * optional mission chains ( I was trying to run before walking here ), all hull upgrades require a limited mission (5-7 stages ** apart from HU 30 which is more) and require you to contribute in game credits for your hull upgrade. The level 150+ characters had a choice about 7 months ago to either pay or do the mission (sometimes both). This was too complex so it has been reduced to the method above. It also freed up some mission IDs which were recycled to form the new mission trees.
  23. Eventually, These Token missions will lead to good higher level content. Eventually. Just not yet. Remember, this is still a stress test, and code had to be developed to support these missions.
  24. Grendwal, Yes. High level content for these missions is very rare. I'm concentrating on Agrippa Technology at the moment, completing stage I. Progen who have struggled with the Stage I missions will be seeing nice items in the next few months (but will have to do challenging missions to obtain the prints). Example of a Token Mission: - Sentinel, Requires Prospect (3) + Token: Supply ores to a location • Unlocks:- Repeatable Ore Supply @ Prospect (5) and @ Prospect (7). If your just after Trade XP, then these missions will not compensate you for the potenitial loss of Trade Experience you could have got from selling ores. However, the limited rewards you may get provide other experience and in occaision, faction. This is the aim of the Token missions, secondary content chosen by the player at that lower level, matching their skills at the time. They will unlock other content eventually, high level content. But until this content (mobs) etc are in the game it would be remiss of me to send you to kill them, or restrict you to low level sectors. Let me reassure the level 150's currently, you had the best deal when you could obtain CFB, BB and WH9 in previous missions that have now been overwritten with the new content. However, I am thinking of a time when all is reset, and then you will have ample opportunity to explore the new content. Hopefulyl, this will not be yet, as I've still got to do several token missions for HU 75 - 100. Those wanting to investigate the missions, try the PTR server.
  25. Ok, That's what is required to make it work then. Somewhere your mission tree got corrupted.
