I don't know how to help you, sorry. Maybe you can try running game in different machine (laptop?), or in virtual machine? I believe game should run fine under VirtualBox.

As far as I remember, that particular error message only comes up if udp and https connections end up using different external IP's. It can be client side proxy settings (on windows its using proxy from internet options), client side vpn where https is tunneled but udp is not, or isp side shenanigans.

You have some network issue (with the launcher anyway). The content should show news page. Make sure there is no proxy set under internet connections (windows setting). Launcher also shows external IP which is not common. Its usually internal IP from your local NAT router.

Reseting ingame account password does not require old password. New password for ingame account is sent to your email. You can just create new ingame account (up to 9) under same forum credentials.

This means, that proxy does not receive packets from server. Make sure local ip in launcher is selected correctly if there is multiple choices.

Launcher needs to point to EnB/release/client.exe file. What happens after pressing "play" in launcher, is it launchers net7proxy.exe, that one launcher client.exe and you get game EULA popup, which after accepting opens ingame login window. You might need to run ebconfig/e&bconfig.exe (probably using WinXP compat mode and/or 'as administrator', same as launchnet7.exe/client.exe). How far do you get?

Server might of left some residual info in one of databases when you deleted the old char and that prevented moving new char into that slot.

This might be firewall issue (net7proxy.exe) or "Local IP" list has multiple entries and wrong one is selected.

Does it say invalid password or does it show different error?

Its a network issue where HTTP/HTTPS and UDP traffic reaches server with different IP's. Either you switched on proxy in internet settings, or your ISP is doing unholy things with traffic. VPN may also cause trouble.

Try reset updates on launcher. If EnB is installed in program files, then you also must run launcher as admin.

Make a copy of LauncherNet7.exe (just ctrl+c, ctrl+v on the file) and launch the copy (as admin probably). See if that lets it to update itself.

Did antivirus nuke net7proxy exe file?

Make sure launcher is set to run release/client.exe under EnB install directory and not e&b.exe

Not sure what the InstallShield issue is on your windows install (google give some solutions when searching that error). For EnB, installing is optional (tho recommended as less downloading). This should get you into the game * create folder c:\games\enb\release * create empty file c:\games\enb\release\client.exe * point net7 launcher to c:\games\enb\release\client.exe file

You need to set launcher to run as admin aswell if you running e&b config as admin so that game and config read/write to same registry entries. You might also need to set client.exe to run as admin.

I believe you have launcher set to launch e&b.exe and not client.exe (from release directory)

It seems that sunrise cert is expired and automatic renewal did not work.

If you open account/avatar settings, then select game account on dropdown and switch to it, then you can change ingame password for that game account, or request new random password if you have forgot it. I tested and password change did work. There is also ingame command "/changepassword newpassword". Password you changed was probably forum account's and the password warning was right after login to portal probably. I really hope you have 2 forum accounts and you just got confused which one had ingame account linked. Changing forum password does not (well should not) unlink game accounts on portal.

You go to net-7.org login with forum username/password. Open "account/account linking" page and enter your game username/password.

You need to point client to enb client.exe, not net7 launcher.exe

What browser and/or privacy firewall/extensions/settings you using regarding cookies and javascript? There might be conflict where javascript request does not have access/set cookies properly. Could you try plain old microsoft edge? or better yet different computer or mobile (ignore popup on mobile) Checking browser console (F12) might also give idea why its failing.
