teh forumz is ebil!!! stay away! :P   Seriously, some people have busy lives and want to get as much play time in as they can. Others just can't be bothered to read em, and just play. :)

Is this effect able to be turned off in a grav well area? It does add to lag a little around GoBB. If not then I'm ok with the way it is.

Way back when... back before there were any agreements between the big3, each and every raid had 2-3 groups from the big3 sitting there ready to go when it spawned. As you can imagine, words were exchanged at times, banter about so-an-so ksing so-an-so, and a general feeling of ill-will ensued. Of course the raid would be so laggy the winner would normally be determined by who was able to keep enough folks in the raid to do the most damage and get credit for the kill. Things were really getting out of hand, to the point of BL telling everyone to play nice or the raids would be turned off.   So, we came to an agreement, and the rotation was born. It happened through much work of the dedicated folks at BI, Static, and VGE in an effort to calm things down and stop what was happening, Drama! During this time, we all came to know each other and formed some friendships, and mutual respect was earned. Not to mention we didn't want the raids being turned off either. Lol   Sorry, I just felt the need to recap a little of why there is a rotation. :)   Edit, while I was typing and fixing typos Nik posted the above.

Folks can and will do these raids if they band together. Stop and think for a second, does anyone think the big3 just fell into these with no problems? Everyone had to learn the tactics, to balance the right amount of dps with healers, etc. Nobody has a magic wand to wave, we all had to learn them the hard way, trial and error.   If you can find like minded folks, add them to your friends lists, take the time to group hunt together, get to know what to do and when to do it, and anyone can do these raids. :)

Most of the Oni parts are a slow drop rate. Sorry that I can't confirm what level Oni they drop from, but I have gotten them recently.

  To a degree maybe, but like other raids that are activated, the items needed to activate them are a fairly slow drop rate. This controls the rate for ubers entering the game. I would also like to see the raids activated. As it would make the drama-meter non existant raid wise lol, which is why the rotation was started to begin with. :)

Well, quite a few of us have the good stuff and still play, not so much for the gear as it is for the friends. :)

Also, I have found it to be required to type the player name exactly, using a cap at the start of the name.

I'll echo what Nico said, Congratz to Epic!   I can't speak for Bell, his pc has issues atm, but Sunday would work for me also, TS wise. :)

I am pretty sure there were colors within guilds. If I remember it right most of them were tied to the ranks, white = leader, red = recruit, green = officers (rank able to recruit), etc. Of course that was a very long time ago. lol

Would it be possible to modify the guild roster in the portal?   If you could make the header active, so if you click on "Name" it sorts by name, "Rank" sorts by rank, etc. :)

"Klyde" was born simply while setting up a character in beta 5 (prior to launch of orginal live) the grandkids were over and watching some cartoon on TV, one of the toons was named Klyde something. The rest is history.

Uly you were around during original live. You know that raid content was "controlled" by the big guilds then too. I was in a small guild, we approached the larger guilds on Andro, and developed a repore (sp?) with them and not long after got invited along on raids with them.   Nobody at VGE is trying to lockout anyone from raid content! This can not be said enough! We have helped smaller guilds learn and do raids, we have had other guild members along on our raids, We have held open raids at FB on several occasions, etc. and I'm sure the same could be said for Static and BI.   We are a group of folks that enjoy raiding along with the other parts of the game, and we raid a lot because we have the numbers. It has absolutely nothing to do with being elite.   Sorry if I derailed things. Now back to the original topic.

The only concern for VGE of the patch change was, how will we address the rotation? Which Overt has addressed. :)   And, the change will affect the spawn timers of the raids, the first spawn is around 42+ hours after a restart, so it will effectively kill weekend raids for guilds with US/Euro players. Due to the time differences most week night raids happen after our Euro folks have gone to bed.   If the spawn timers could be made independant of the server restarts would solve the issue most likely.   Most of us are happy that we have this game to play, and that you Devs work so hard on keeping it that way. By all means post screen shots and full un-edited chat logs. We try to police ourselves.   We are not out to force folks off a nav, however there have been some times when a person was at a nav and started being an asshat, and general tomfoolery in local which prompts guildies to band together to insure they get the kills. Most of the guilds here would likely do the same.   Have the courage to post with your main also, it would certainly carry more weight when leveling accusations. ;)   As to the raid control thing... the big 3 do not control any raids. The reason the big 3 do them alot is because they can. The schedule setup between the big 3 is to prevent conflicts between the big 3, it does not affect anyone else.   Edited to add info

Thanks Tootall, the opening statement of the vendor has been more than enough info to go on.   Once you use a vendor numerous times, it gets pretty automatic which ones you go for, at least at most used stations that builders use. ;)
