Warrior classes are the ones with repair equipment... if you don't have the skill you can just dock somewhere and everything will be repaired.

click Properties > Compatibility tab, and check the 'run as administrator' and 'run this program in compatibility mode' boxes go ahead and do it for Net7 and e&b.exe somewhere in Program Files>EA Games>E&B

try running as administrator and in XP compatibility mode if you are not already
