  1. Ammo components are exclusively ammo components.   That's why they are WAY cheaper than rest of equivalent Level... Or noone would make stack of ammo price of a L9 Shield or Weapon. 
  2. Actually it is CL50 (not 150) killing CL35's...   By just killing L35 Chavez, I got my default RD -4000 faction to 2000+ in less than two days... So it happens...   However, you are right on some cases, not many factional farm mobs, take EC for instance... L50 & L40 ones taking long time to kill due shield / hull , fastest spawning ones are L25's and numbers are few... L33's at Earth is hidden so deep that they are practically off the map...   There are other ways ofcourse. Each job gives 40 faction, if miner, each asteroid cleaning job gives 100 faction per...    Not to mention half-eaten suits, there is a market for that...
  3. Worst case scenerio about DA14 is it can wipe clean some of Satallites so you may not watch TV sometime or need to trust on your memory rather than your GPS on some regions :)

  6. Client has nothing to do with manufacture station or telling it where to take ingredients from....   Pretty much basic info server sends cargo ingredients only at this moment to manufacture station, that's all about it...
  7. Indeed, my L9 ammo requiring 9 different type of ores each time moving them vault to cargo and back for 3 different components really much more tougher than placing 200% stuff to front row

I understand this wholeheartedly as a JE and damage should never be modified by range due to client-to-server, server-to-client differences that can cause false info from client to server or server to client.    But as I posted on other thread,   Rather than changing beam damage based on range, may be items should be revisited to remove ridicilous beam ranges.     8.5K beam range without any beam range modifier? Heck missiles are barely hitting that distance with range modifiers + they are slow + each hit COST money (and at high levels, costing mining time) + requires lots of cargo space...   "ANY(!)" beam -regardless where it is looted from- with range modifiers should never pass range of an avarage PL, never ever reach to range of a vendor ML of equivalent level...   May be THEN beam damage should be considered full without range stat...
  10. Played since closed beta very early 2002... then public beta then picked Andromeda in release... Was co-founder of a mid-sized family-friendly guild...    Left the game around a year and a half after release... Changes made after EA sales of Westwood (right before public beta), turned game from serious space adventure to kinder garden with all shiny, glowy effects. Later with almost entire guild, I moved on to other MMO's such as SWG, EQ2, LOTRO etc. etc.   Since then I was looking for similiar games to play with... Was aware of EMU news yet, did not actually checked frequent... till early december and I was in right after learning it is live :)

Player Contribution - We are trying to encourage "Fan Sites" to produce this kind of player driven content, and I believe 61Cygni are already doing this.   Ofcourse but no "Fan site" has complete and latest list of "items, components or anything that drops or not drops / mobs / sectors and nav points all together" (let alone spelling mistakes or search) to put notes or discuss about. That's why I suggested such addition to official item list that we search or look every day... Basically I think of it like seperate forum topics on each item, empty if nobody types in it. Only filled by players if they choose to.   Solid Links - I will look in to this idea as it is something that we had looked at in the past, Would be lovely always  :) Direct link to one toons build list or item would be easy to bookmark/share for anybody.    Compare items - The DB Search gives you a Stats Column for comparisons, Can you please explain how you would expand this. For instance I have Level 8 shield and looking for Level 9 shield, I search my shield and put  a check on checkbox on one search (either session variable or cookie for 'shields' category), then I search for Level 9 shields, and put checkmarks to shields I liked , then I search for another (for instance Jenquai only L8 shields)  and pressing a "compare" button, I see all shields I picked and see and compare stats with each other. Similiar to compare two hardware on one of online store and see same stats side-by-side Recharge vs. Recharge vs. Recharge etc. as soon as I press compare on one of shields, I see picked shields and all session variables/cookies for shield category comprasion is removed (Similiar to multiquote method on boards too) which allows me to compare side by side what I will gain by changing my shield or what I will loose (effects, stats etc.) or picking between two or more shields, and comparing them side by side easier.    Search item list addition - Cant see this being a problem. Sounds great   Fixes Needed:  - I can not replicate any of the issues you listed.  Can you get me screen shots etc ? IE10 screen when I press on one of my toon names on the left... Even menus on top stop working when you mouse over them after...   [attachment=2355:ie10.jpg]   Builder list bug (Obviously there are people who build that)   [attachment=2356:search.jpg]   To replicate, I think you need to do another search over either item stat or one listed builder (which opens new tab there then when you click on builders, it shows and cleans it) -- This happens on every browser btw. May be two same "id" tags might nullify the other if a builder tab already open...    Ingame-mail - Can you not just use the Account Vault ? I don't like to multibox and often can't.. That's usually what I use for sending money between my characters, while vault is ofcourse superb but does not cover money part :)   Game account login change - You can just create a new game account, and move avatars over to it. Wish I could do that for 10th account while whole 9 accounts are full :)   Direct Link to GM Support Tickets - Added, and will be available at next push Thanks in the name of community    Ingame accessible Portal - We are very limited in what we can do with the ingame browser as it uses HTML "Stone Age".  Its on a list to do somewhere... By Stone Age, it is IE6 on XP, IE7 on Vista/7/8, still can access a lot of things :)  Keeping hopes up (I often try to think them as mobile browsers, rather than get with ajax on client side javascript, I let a server-side script do all the client work to show it)

  13. Only exception is Navigate...   Navigation Computer II (L7) clearly states it adds to players who does not have navigate skill...
  14. Did that mission yesterday...   You have to kill Elder greks or something like that, close to Loch Barae moon (or big asteroid)
  15. What might be happening is client not showing you correct range. You might be far according to server while you are seen at top of mob on your screen. That's why beam range thing is a bit odd.    May be instead of damage reducal, they should just reduce absolutely ridicilous ranges for a beam on items. By redicilous = 6K+ range on a beam weapon. Beam range should never exceed Projectile range, never ever ever Missile ranges... Missiles going for 8K+ with range modifier items and there are beams out there with 8.5K range without any range modifier... Not to mention, missiles are slow, taking huge cargo space and pricey... what beams offer?

I'll categorise it as Database, Avatar, Account, Portal in general.   Database   Player Contribution   It would be lovely if we can actually contribute to database as players, different from given info. "Players" to add notes to items (such as drop locations or any other info in a thread fashion followed by senders forum ID. It would be just player info, nobody asking development team to reveal any info but players to share. (I think Shaddex suggested this himself on a thread as far as I remember)   Wiki up and running (www.net-7.org/wiki   Solid Links    Option for solid links to items etc. For instance, having direct link URL to item (to post somewhere else), direct links to one toon's builds... Single page Ajax fills memory and easily lost with just pressing back button (your entire search, etc.) , in other words, ability to open in new tab/window.   17. Which component will be taken to manufacture terminal is entirely depending on where in your inventory it currently is located... It just does not take it random or make 200% as priority.   If  you have 100% & 200% components in your cargo and if 100% is coming on your first rows/columns, it will take first 100% rather than 200% on later rows/columns...   This is ENTIRELY UP TO user... Put good stuff to front rows and you should be fine...    Taking stuff from vault would be also follow that pattern... Manufacture station would first check cargo if component exists -> takes first rows/column it exists -> If not check vault and take firsts find there ...   I don't really know how hard is to place a better quality item in your cargo's first rows if you want it that bad...

IMO, most elegant solution has been found and devs fixed it that way...   Thank you devs, I can't think of no-other better option without crippling or nerfing group exploration xp...   I never find touring as exploit with real live unique people, exploit that devs meant was touring your own 6 toons. They don't want to cripple exploration xp for real people, they just don't want 6 toon of same people exploiting the system "easily". And that's what they did. Now person who will do that has to switch his all 6 screens to press gate button, which slowed this down and made this option cumbersome and boring. Only a few really desperate person will do such thing unless they have pro multibox equipment because of all gates and 6 screen switches.    As always community really does not know what they really want... They might just get it and does not mean they are going to like it when they start their next toon...

  21. Talk about Terran engines vs. Ursa NGC 9 speed... heh...   I still believe Ursa speed is a long forgetten bug....   If it is not bug, Terran L9 engines should have that speed...   Afterburner, nice to have, but I barely hit it due to annoying sound :)

  24.   They don't stack, takes whatever comes first (same as cargo)   And I very much like that idea... Since vault & manufacturing terminals are only accesable from stations only in-game, that would be nice feature...

      May be we should really deal this with price of one stack of debris...   It is 70k, 70k for very small faction might not be really fun for that... Well, at least can go for 70 faction for stack is appropiate, considering sponsor jobs are giving out like 40 to 100... TE start with -9000 bogeril faction with not much access to hulks in bulks, please take this into account :)       Or that...
