It gives us some very exact values on faction gained as well as tells us the hard caps for your home factions, associated factions (same race), and the minimum cap. Taallonn Posted August 23, 2012 Report Share Posted August 23, 2012 I don't recall being 'red" to any of the player factions starting out in live for any playable race. If they didn't like you, they were yellow or green so that you wouldn't get attacked doing missions for your HU's and all. Glenn was yellow starting out for all races, so was net-7 reporters. Grissom patrols (centurati faction) were green starting out even for Jenqui. I remember it taking days to get PW red to me when I was doing the RD rep grind in live on my JD. We got a backup from a few days before wipe now, so "very close" restore data! This will go to portal soon (currently populating DB) 2. You will be able to restore your home faction based on your OL (so it will range from 7500 to 12000) 3. Progen Combine will be in the restore table on portal too 4. Progen Combine will be on the PDA list 5. Glenn Commission will be on the PDA list (will initialize with +2000 to everyone since this faction had no affilliation at all) 6. Job terminals will show jobs for the factions being on your PDA, like GC, PC etc. (This might need a server restart tho, so latest availale with next restart) 7. I logged out and logged back in and I think my factions are still messed up. I didn't write down the values before using the restore factions, but I'm pretty sure I wasn't red with Sabine explorers. It's shows I'm at -181, but I thought I was closer to the 8,000 range. I tried checking on the portal, but it doesn't show the pre-wipe value after you've done the restore. Any chance you could change the portal to still show the pre-wipe value, and just remove the restore faction capability once it's used? [/quote] Heya, this is exactly how it works - it removes the button once used. I am not sure i can follow...i see your factions were restored via portal and now showing exactly the values ingame like they were stored in the "restore table" pre-wipe, also the buttons are removed for the factions you restored. ??
