Ascentian
Net7 Proxy 1.96 / Net7launcher 1.9.9 / Windows XP Since the Net7 proxy was updated to 1.96 I'm having endless connection problems. Between all the errors from the proxy and just plain old crashes of Net7 and disconnects, it's been impossible to stay connected. Problems in order of frequency: Opcode errors packet errors Port 3501 and 3800 (I think! window closed too fast) being "reset" for no apparent reason This is a fresh install of XP with all updated applied and network/video/sound drivers to the latest available. There were some suggestins that Have helped a lot. You may still experience crashes, but these suggestions did help. Also, sometimes, I had to shut off my firewall. Other times, it didn't matter. Above the mob a series of critical hit messages in red appeared over and over without a shot being fired. The client stopped responding to me so I killed it. C Del[IS]
I have a general idea what's happening here. I'm sure Tienbau can fix it if we give him some time.
Stranks99[IS]
I can play for hours quite happily without the bad opcode error, however if I fire up and use a second account then within minutes the bad opcodes on one of them begin to appear. Gobblu
I've been having the problem since I got my internet back, that I have to try 3 times (always 3 times) to log into a character. I'm not seeing any bad opcodes or anything, client just acts as if I have told it to quit. port ### exiting gracefully type messages. On another note, and I realize it's not really revelant to this topic, but... The messages I've seen from stranks were full of the empty spaces on IE8 with compatibility on, but looks normal with no compatibility selected. There was an open-ended HTML tag in the Beta Tester name template which I've corrected. That bug won't happen any more. If you see any other member groups with this problem let me know. (It used to plague Dakynos as well)
Phorlaug[IS]
To help troubleshoot the last patch. At login on my wireless PC I CTD on average 3 times before a successful login. After removing the Wireless card and going Wired gigabit Connections improved. The Wireless PC ran good if maybe a little slow before the patch. There is a little Lag and rubberbanding but not insane. Phorlaug..
