How does the classes that don't have repair equipment, repair damaged stuff, other than by begging someone with the repair equipment skill? Level 3 was typically enough so you could fix up another player's gear if needed. But generally if you were actually taking equipment damage due to taking hull damage you were usually dead long before any of your gear actually stopped working anyway so it didn't really matter. Rarely seem the type of equipment damage that can be repaired by equipment repair. Agreed, when I did Fishbowls in Live with my JW, I found having L6 (which I leveled after 150) was of some use. Probably makes more sense for a JW since they do combat support pretty well, in addition to great first strike damage. Right now, however, I have to agree that quality damage is too high, since the skill is there to repair structure damage. I'm guessing that's for future balancing that's still to be done.
