I just wanted to say a Big Thank You to the GM's that held the hide and seek games the last few days. They took time from their schedules to hold these games, and I think it was awesome of them! And yeah, I was a lucky winner, completely by accident. I was free warping in Rag escaping a Thorgil that was wanting my ship for lunch, and spotted P5155 hanging out with his buds the Chavez at Miguels house. Still was an awesome thing to do, that they didn't have to. Thanks guys!

Dunno, I am no expert on either subject, I play 1 account on 1 pc. I'm against macro's to the extent that they automate the game to the level of starting the game and the macro does the rest so you can go watch tv or read a book. In live macros caused enuf problems that the Devs actually made some macro hunter bots that roamed around sectors, Freya was a sector I saw the bot in repeatedly. The only problem I would have with them is if they are permacamping mobs 24/7 to get the uber lewtz, or clearing ore fields or whatever. Multi boxing, well if someone has the extra money for the boxes and time to use them, at least they are still sitting in front of the screen actually playing. I have no problems with that. Sure it gives them an advantage, but it also cost them quite a bit of $$ to gain that advantage in an internet spacship game. Most of the people I know that multibox do it for convience factor and not to gain undue rewards. Now combine multiboxing and macros and that would be really bad imo.

From what they guys in TS have said, I seriously doubt the server being down is for the move.

Starting over would be ok with me... I finally got a toon over lvl 100 All the other wipes came before I could make it to 100, so I've been ready for it since I got one close to the 100 HU. lol

The samples look awesome! I like the color schemes, but my favorite color is blue, so go figure. When can we expect to see some of this in use?

Ok, here we go... 1. More communication, I agree (tidbits will do, just more) 2. Since we want more, more, more, we also want to pay to play, yeah thats right, I said it. 3. We are here to help "stress test" and to help find bugs, 300 of us finding bugs is way better than 10 of them even if some info gets duped. 4. refer to number 2... as we all want more info, more transparancy, more more more, pay up or shut up. 5. We all get to play this wonderful game again after EA closed it, due to the work and determination of the guys/gals (past& present) that have seen fit to spend their free time working on this project. 5a. Call me a fanboy etc I don't care.. these constructive type threads never seem very constructive imo. And those people that start them usually have an agenda in mind. 6. Final idea... pay up or shutup. So far it's been a free ride and I don't think anyone here has a right to demand anything from the Devs that do all of this for free, as in they don't get paid for it. I really don't care what you may think of my post either, as you are not paying for the right to tell me. 7. Chill out, relax, drink a beer, then dig deep and pay up, or shut up.

I actually have a very bad screenie of a bunch of people trying to take down ol' Nathan Zhao back in the day. That was lag city on dial-up. hehe

Hi Imp, could you also put some directions in the DL section? I have a friend who is struggling somewhat with getting the game working. There are numerous posts/threads but the info is kinda confusing for a first-timer. I pointed my friend to the posts above, which helped greatly, maybe just a copy/paste to the DL section. Aside from server crashes, there's other problems as well. My TT has a blank faction list now, and friends list is also blank. I would think some database errors / corruption are to blame, but I'm no programmer. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

The config tool is in the client folder, In mine its program files>ea games> earth and beyond> ebconfig folder. Also in my folder is one called net7config, but I think I DL'd it long ago. Anyways, just find the exe file and make a desktop shortcut. The file should be called E&B configuration utility, and if the net 7 one is there it is called Net7 configuration utility. The net 7 one has better options imo.

Easiest thing to do is get a TT to rip the phos from "Nova JumpCore XS" level 2 components. Grab about 35 of them cause dismantle is not always 100% return, and pay some TT to rip them down. Mining for the ores is a long process indeed.

I'm sure you guys have all remembered to do this after re-installing... did you run the configuration tool again? Only reason I ask is, after just about every patch I get issues with the game "blowing out" during load screens. It sends me back to desktop and usually that reminds me to run the config tool. After that I have no problems. Just a thought...
