It actually effects all servers. Web, sunrise and dev. It the backup that's causing it, the Sdevs are aware of it and are looking for a solution.

This isnt a Portal Issue, we think we know what is causing it and are taking steps to resolve it. Shouldnt effect you logging in to game... they are on totally seperate servers. And just because you cant see a post saying we are working on it, doesnt mean we are not...... Trust me, its in hand...

Hold down shift and right click on the client on the task bar you will get restore ... Click and hey presto.... This effects windows 7 and vista I beleive, I don't think we can fix this for copyright reasons....

Would this not constitute as broadcasting? As a professional DJ, there are massive amounts of licensing required if you are to play any form of music (PRS in the UK) Makes sure the artists get there royalties. Dont know what it would mean if its internet radio world wide, im sure there are different laws in each country. Be very careful if you are looking to play music ... especially community advertised... makes it easy to find...

The servers have been hosted with 1&1 for a while, and we cant say we haven't had many problem (most of the crashes are the software we run - not the server itself) So, as long as the US are as reliable and efficient as the UK counterpart, i cant see it being an issue Thanks

Ok, The web teams next project is to get some portal functions to work ingame (intergalactic net terminals) We can't just link to the existing portal as the browser built in to the game is so old it doesn't support half of the code we currently use. So, our plan is to write a cut down portal for use in game. What we need to know, is what portal features would you like to be able to use in game. Please post here, and read replys before asking for the same thing. If someone has already suggested the section, Please vote the post up so we can gauge and prioritise what we write first. Thanks

Hopefully the biggy of the day.... Database search -> select item (scrolls to top) -> close tab or select seach results = scrolled back to top..... Not any more, the next content push, the site SHOULD remember your position on the search page and return you back there on close tab or select. Hopefully i will get a few reputation points for this one Just waiting for Shaddex to do a content push and we are all ok.

<remove dev hat> This topic has been debated for a long time. never in the existence of EnB has there been a [b]LINKED[/b]/[b]OFFICAL[/b] site that shows all drops, Zackman, you have just re-enforced our case as to why they are 'hidden'. All sites that existed (i was a member of a guild with one of the most popular databases when EnB was 'Live') were 100% community sourced, people collating information. I wrote the first database that used the dumps from this project (before they were removed), and as a player, seen it from both sides, and i must say i agree with Shaddex on this, spoon feeding made the game boring. MMORPG's rely on the community to stay alive, without the social interaction you might as well just play a single player game. If we apply your mentality to the game, why not let all races/classes build everything and be able to use everything so they dont need to get involved with the other players.
