From the NET-7.org FAQ's / Gameplay and issues/how do i get in the game: I get in the game, please follow the instructions below. If you have any issues, please refer to the forums.1. Click on the 'Register' button to the right of the Earth and Beyond Emulator Logo.2. Fill in the details on the registration page and confirm your email address.3. Once you have a Master Account, log in to the Net7 Portal (this site).4. From the accounts menu, click the 'Add Game Account' button, and fill in the details.5. You now have a Game account ! YEY !6. Now navigate to the 'Main' Menu and select 'Downloads'.7. You will only need to download 'Earth & Beyond Client' and 'Net-7 Unified Installer'8. Once downloaded, run the 'Earth & Beyond Client' install first, and wait for it to complete. (Please delete the shortcut from your desktop as you do not need to run this.9. Now install the 'Net-7 Unified Installer'. You will be asked a few questions during the install.10. Next, navigate to your 'Start' menu and locate the Earth and Beyond shortcut Folder.11. Once there, run the 'Earth & Beyond Configuration' shortcut, and select your desired settings. Make sure you run as 'Administrator' (Rightclick the shortcut and select 'Run as Admin') and also hit the 'Performance Test'.12. Now run the 'LaunchNet7' shortcut on your desktop. This is the main launcher for the game.13. On first run, the launcher will update a few times, to make sure you have the latest release.14. Once the updates are complete, press the "Play" button on the launcher.15. The first time you press 'PLAY' you may be presented with a certificate install screen. Just press OK.16. The game will now launch.17. Once at the log in screen, (Say Hi to Megan), enter your 'GAME' account information (Step 4).18. Create your Character and enjoy the game !

yes you must install the net-7 launcher

if you are a new player you may need to create game account on the net-7.org (portal page) under account tab, if you havent created a game account you will get the passwords error, if you are a returning original live player the same applies, if you are a recent player since 2012 and haven't played in a while you may need to change your passwords, using the account tab account settings selection

Looks like the EnbMaps site is either down or has some script errors i was able to copy this error when i clicked on teh endriago sector of the map. The server was probably down at the time, we have a server restart every Tuesday morning 7am Eastern time.

on the net-7.org after you sign in to the page, using your Forums sign ins, under the home tab, downloads selections, there's the links for both the Net-7 client and the EnB clients, download both of those, but install EnB first, DONT USE THE EA LAUNCHER THAT COMES UP IF YOU RUN THE ENB CLIENT AT THIS TIME IT WILL NOT WORK. then make sure you install the Net-7 client . Before you run the net-7 client ensure that you navigate to the folders both ae installed into, locate the executable files and right click select properties and run as administrator and compatibility for win xp sp 3 seems to work the best. Before you start playing the game, it will need to be updated, run the net-7 launcher and agree to the statements, let it update it will update both the launcher and the EnB client. when the updates are over verify that the launcher is Vers V2.2.0., if it is not then you need to force reset updates and close restart the net-7 launcher and check for updates may need to do this several times. At this point if the launcher is the correct version, please verify that all four boxes in the middle of the net07 launcher are marked Packet optimization, prototype reorder, delete *.th6 and mouse unlock. if all is correct, then ......GO to the Net-7.org page and under the account tab CREATE a Game account, this will be the Sign-ins for the Game, please keep this simple no special characters in the passwords. once this is done. you can now start the launcher and enter the game, I am going to assume this is your first time logging in to the game. the first thing you will need to do is create your Avatar and ship, on the character creation screen all 9 avatars selections are available, use the inside arrows to move between characters and decide which one you want, the Terran scout (TS)Explorer), the Progen Privateer(PP)(Trader), and the Jenquai Seeker (JS)(Trader) do not have audio tracks linked to them as they were not active in the origin game, they are active here, make your character choice then stat customizing it and the ship, when yo move past the ship screen in to the first time login page create your name, DO NOT USE any sexual connotations or any names the may bring disdain and hatred upon you, I Will change the name if so, if not ban you. those names are violations of the Terms of Service (TOS). name your avatar select sunrise server its the only server that players use, you will log in to the game into your selected professions starting sector and be docking in the station, seek out the training NPC's for your first missions and complete those, make sure you talk to every npc in the station several times during your training some NPCs wont give you any missions at all but some will give more mission depending on what missions you have completed and what level you are and what skills you have achieved. on the names when you create your name you can add on the Professions initial at the end and in game run the /capitalize command to capitalize them when in game if you need help just ask on the new player channel someone will assist you, if the game is not the right size for your screen, navigate to the EnB folders and find the folder ENBConfig and find the EnB config executable and set to run administrator and compatibility (run the checker) then run the the enbconfig program and selecct the resolution that works for you

did you create a game account on the net-7 .org portal page, the game doesn't use the forums passwords to enter the game

its possible but i will need the account name and name of avatar and new name so that I can make sure that i get them all correctly

Is It Possible you were mistyping you password including or missing a capital letter at the beginning of your password, or accidently hitting caps lock, (Which I do often)?

Are the servers up? I am getting offline when i go to log in on the launcher, the NEt-7 pages appear to be down also Though I can access the Wiki pages, and forum pages, also getting red indicated on the sever status app. I have restarted everything in my systems and still no Dice on getting in.

I clicked refresh and ran the unblackhole routine on each of your accounts and avatars who are all now at the net-7 Station in Saturn, se if that helps. Check that your EnB client is set to run as Administrator and the proper compatibility this sometimes causes windows to block game running due to incompatibility issues with the game being so old. you anti virus and your firewall need to be checked to see if the Net-7 client and the EnB client are set to be green or clear through both a/v and f/w. also restart your router if its been a long time since last done

It appears the server is down again, i have server indicator app showing red on all computers, plus the net-7 launcher shows offline, I keep getting MVAS connection Failed error on the chat tool

I have several JE's (Jenquai Explorer)(15) of various levels along with several of the other 8 professions, each profession(class) can be played in a myriad of way, for example I have a Combat JE, he does explore but he is primarily combat and Rescue, I like the Terran Explorer (TS, Terran Scout) easily the fastest character in the game, The one I can tell you is play the game and your avatar any way that you want to, its a big galaxy and there is a lot to see and do, some sectors i would stay pout of unless you are being Escorted (toured) as they most certainly will cause you to die, and you will either have to sleep off the or trade run you Debt away . The game is twenty years old now so the graphics are not as flashy as some of the newer games out there but the one thing that was well liked is that you don't have to keep an eye over your shoulder wondering if the other player is going to shoot you n the back like some of the other games, we Do Not have P-V-P. though back in the original live we had three arenas when you could PVP with other players in your level class's. You will see me in game often lurking in the station on my HGM avatars, sometimes traveling around checking on things, or I may be on one of my Many Peanuts Gang Guild Avatars, Hope to see you in game, if you have any questions or issues just ask the player will be more than willing to assist, especially if you need gear upgrades. you should check out the website www.enbmaps.de and bookmark it it is a very good game map. also on the Net-7.org Portal page ther is a map that can show you the sector where you avatar is located especially good for use in some sectors.

For both the Terran Alliance and Progen Combine factions, there are terminal jobs for faction gain,

you might want to check Prototype reorder box it will help with some issues

Actually the downloads are outside my control. the only thing i can say try again, or if you played in the original live and still have your original installation disks try those. the original disks work. also I goggled your error code try deleting the ENB directory. Then restarting and reinstalling the EnB game.

tools are all back up i did another restart on my computers , i am still having issues with starting the game on several of my computers , i figured i would wait until tomorrow to see if server restart clears my issues before i make any more noise.

i did the ipconfig /flushdns on all 10 computers here. restarted all computers and restarted router, NO GO on all Net-7 Pages and Launcher.
