  3. I do not know if this is intended or a new glitch but i've found if you log off or get kicked the jobs DO stay , they at least did for my pw in the past weeks. if this was intended... Great job... I tested it, took a job and logged off but right back in and it was still there Then I took a job and waited a day but that one was gone so... Again... Great job. as far as the other thing, it would be quite nice for only YOU to see your job mob but I got to thinking, I ran jobs to Tarsis and noticed day after day more and more job mobs were there, i assume the people didn't run the jobs or there job was removed because they logged for an extended period of time... I also noticed that the sector was quite laggy... so what I ended up doing is tried to send a PM to the name on the job mob.. I decided after not reaching anyone to do a little bit of clean up.. once complete the zone seemed to be a bit less laggy so there is a good and bad to everything. I say leave the jobs how they are but make it spawn when you hit the zone... this way if I took a job mob and couldn't kill it, some one later eventually could finish the job unless you decide to to a server side reset and remove them.

  5. not really because we are not talking about fixing the item a few percentage points. it adds another dimension to the game. I brought up this point towards the beginning of the post. so in short I already addressed this. I am pretty sure if you put it to a game wide vote most people would be for it. ------------- As far as the rest, since we can not use the terminal to do this, and we are thinking to use the skill the same way call forward works, lets use the ores in the game that are now useless, make it cost something yes but use ores you need to collect to start this process. this is my suggestion
  6. I guess my post's intent lost focus a bit even though these suggestions are good. Are We considering a repair quality skill? , it was less about new classes having too many points and more directed towards non manufactureable items. i'm suggesting the trading class and the new seeker class take on these skills. you could repair already manufactured items but it would me more helpful for the non buildable items. a command line skill works for me if you can work it in.

I do not know if you plan on giving the PP / JT any more skills for that matter the TS ( I don't use one that's why i sorta left it out),,,, I am suggesting this off of a post I read about today so it is not my core idea. a PP has a nice bit of skill points if you decide to not build anything or just build in one group area the JT has a nice bit of skill points because PSI shield was removed for the real question/suggestion Can we add a skill that can help repair Quality? is this in the range of the Dev/GMs abilities? how you lay out the skill is your call for example if you made it up to level 5 you can do 1-3-5-7-9 points of quality repair, we can not have it fix everything back to its tip top shape that would kill the danger element in the game, but if you can make it fix something for just a few points that would make these (assuming ) glitches were one shot one death takes a 100 % to 94 %. This could be an in space skill, terminal build skill , what ever but check it out , everyone wants gas ore to be more usefull so if this can be incorporated you could use it in the space station manufacturing terminal with some type of ore, something towards that effect. What do others think?? ----------------
  8. as stated above yea lets mirror a zone like cooper ( or any other zone for that matter) the idea of jacking up there combat level could be cool too , a zone A for normal mode a zone b for hardcore. This thought can move over for when we go live... this way you minimize KSing and you maximize space. how many of you remember a Tado-A gate raid? How many remember the Lag?? add that with the probably chance that people will have there alts parked at the gate holding ammo for there main or setup a medic unit by the entrance and wamo you will have problems I love having the ability to use more then one account but you can tell it will be a problem when we have the influx of more folks

  10. This can be done in many forms in many parts of the game. This could also cut down or totally avoid KS'ing ( i understand we don't have too much of it most people in the stress test are nice, but there is a few guilds who live up to there reputation FROM live ) Can't we mirror particular sectors for example if you wanted to mirror cooper, couldn't it be done to make an exact copy? this would not fit into the story line but would probably be universally accepted by everyone in the stress test as well as when we are finished and go gold. Would be nice to see a mirrored cooper when the game is finished and you can actually do the original intended raid from start to finish. ------------------ Same goes for some job terminal sectors. unless plans move forward to add multi terminals and different job levels maybe you can mirror the most camped sectors to see how it goes. Just a thought.

  12. Devs . Folks. Lend me your ears. . . . Lets just bring back the PVP arena, the only sugestion i have this time around is dont make us wait so long to get in. it was less about PVP and more about some game, I know . But it was fun challanging your friend and trying to wip up on each other Fun for a minuet to settle arguments, this game should never go full fledged PVP or should you have a sector that has some kind of rare thing so people can play pirate and wack all that come in.
  13. I make my own gas, i am doing it now as I type. I think the idea of gas being used in production of a new faster engine would be nice or gas needed to buff you to go faster but not needed as fuel. you got to understand, the idea is in the future the mode of transportation should for the most part be self sustaining. This is the dream in real life. :->

Keep multi-job terminals but add some spots that only offer one type of job, this way you may have a taste for running an explore job you could go there, ( I suggest Joves ). also as stated before, we should have jobs in the noob zones, Lots of sectors go un-used. they dont have to be high level or low level but it would be nice to have people flying through the starter zones , I bet you they would help new players who are trying to figure out the game....
  15. I have a suggestion for the Dev's maybe you will like this one. I understand that jobs will be added to lots of the stations now or in the next cycle. make it known some places have only one type of job. lets say for example, Joves has LvL XX jobs, but only explore jobs. the next place that does not have job access will have lvl XX combat jobs and so on and so forth, that way no terminal area is completely camped. people will seek these out just to run that particular type of job, if you feel like doing combat one day you go there, trade there ect ect. Also. Each race/class has a station in there starter zone. if you have no plans to add lower then ol 50 jobs, make each of there home stations have some kind of job spot. this will keep the population spread out. Also, if it is in your power to add a 2nd - 3rd terminal you don't have to be a particular level to run the job, lets say you added ol 50 jobs to somerland ( a big populated area) but have it offer multi jobs. (i figure you would have this power because you added avatar/ship customization to joves) You will never keep everyone happy but let me tell you this will defiantly be a good idea , especially if jobs are lowered to 5-6 at a time.

In live all jobs gave part credit to something else so running explore jobs Would give you half ( or less ) of trade I do not think combat gave you explore and there was never a reward for running the missions other then credits, they were going to add rewards thats why the window was provided but this gives you a good opportunity were the previous devs did not have enough time to finish what they started let us know if this gets changed, I myself look forward to doing as many explore jobs as I can and get a bit of trade because I am in the class of people who do not get lots of time to play.
  17. I am down for open source as much as the next person but i think the Dev/Gms best served time should be in finishing this installment, once done feel free to give/donate the code away. Keep up the good work guys. take your time and don't over do it :->

I found a way to get max RD faction, kill two chavez then enjoy the herbal remedy. do this 3 times a day for one week and you will be in! all kidding aside, there are two types of Red Dragons that sponsor jobs at the terminals, in most cases if you run these ( I do not know why they want you to dump trash by the way) the faction bar does not change. is this a glitch?
  20. I can understand lowering the number of jobs from 12 to six. but if you make it too much like work most people will want to go to work vs play the game. Answer me this, whats the big deal of enjoying running jobs? I have not had the chance to grab more then 7-8 jobs but when I do and you travel out to complete them, its a good feeling. as far as trade jobs, if they were tweaked so you know were you are heading vs picking up the person and finding out I bet you people will run them vs. trade runs. also, if your nerfing jobs can you fix the problem on when you are kicked offline the jobs go bye bye? I think this would sit well with players, if your limit is six and you are knocked off line , return and you can complete your jobs. most people end up gating to Megan at least once a day also.... add more terminals, most stations have them and they are non working... if you aren't going to add more terminal locations, remove the terminal from those stations. I may be tarty to the party but i will never forget using SD via the Ten Gu raids. you did not need a js or a tow, you lost your shields and all your reactor, there was some time (felt like forever but more like seconds) that your reactor started to recharge. Why has this been removed? I do remembrancer low level mobs running from you though, that we could do with out here but i remember it was funny.
  22. Seeing a player wipe in our future, and the thought that the characters will remain but be reduced to zero, this is a good idea, will all our hard earned toys go bye bye as well? There are pro/cons to this but people will swallow it much better if we got to keep our toys we earned. P.s. will we get founder federation stuff for our ship this time around ( beta people know what I am talking about )

  24. Mobs do loose. Lets see how players fair? My idea would not be of an existing spawn but of something totally new. Base the reward off of something new. The idea is not to choose a mob you want to be so your friends can kill/loot you but as above be able to assume the role of a type of ship/mob. I think this would be great, and great fun.
