Never have approved of paying for raid gear. If your in the raid you have as much right as the next person fighting with you to get said raid gear. Never will approve of "buying" my way into a raid for gear.

I don't recall being 'red" to any of the player factions starting out in live for any playable race. If they didn't like you, they were yellow or green so that you wouldn't get attacked doing missions for your HU's and all. Glenn was yellow starting out for all races, so was net-7 reporters. Grissom patrols (centurati faction) were green starting out even for Jenqui. I remember it taking days to get PW red to me when I was doing the RD rep grind in live on my JD.

I figure they had just one more place to check for Obama's Birth certificate and Romney's tax returns before November....

I can understand not wanting to flood the server with some of the rare loot that these bosses drop, honestly I can. But to be honest, 1 component instead of anything of value feels like a slap in the face for the time killing it. I don't want to be just handed loot, but i do want the feeling that the reward is equal to the skill and time spent for a group to kill these bosses. And right now it isn't exactly feeling that way. Possibly add more diverse loot to the table instead of just components so that if the rare loot doesn't fall on that kill, something else of value will. Perhaps an item that can be printed, not on same scale as the boss loot but still of more value than a component. Or perhaps a item that starts a mission for the person that looted it. Just throwing ideas out here....

Actually in live, my JD often times did more damage than an equally geared TE and PW. I even did more than entire groups, at times. How it is now I am not too sure as i play a JT, but yeah JD's were very powerful if the person knew how to play and had the right beam config for the mobs they were killing. By the same token Healers got a lot of heal agro, especially when mordana were introduced. PW had to use enrage as a taunt to get agro off the healers, and if I remember correct, most the time the TT would have to wait a few sec before even casting a shield recharge just so the PW had the added threat first. Agro wasn't all about the damage. Hacking, debuffing, healing, all of it affected the mob in different ways, depending on how that mob was programed. I recall JE's being sought after in groups as batteries with their shield leach. Not sure of the interval's between use, but it was enough to have pretty much every group want them due to the extremely usefulness of that ability for a group.

That Mordana were going to be in this push, by a dev....when they weren't. All joking aside, I think that stuff alluded to in game should not reflect on any content patch if there's no chance for it to actually be there. Quite a few players got their hopes up for new mobs to kill and new drops with this patch due to the ramblings of one person. I will not name names, and I will not speculate on stuff I did not witness through chat in game, but I will say this. Please don't lead us on, if something is scheduled to release in a patch then don't build it up to a point where expectation is higher than what is actually there.

I know that the devs are busy. However it would be nice to know when a new push is coming. The anticipation for it, not just from me, but from the whole community kind of magical. But there is a kinda feeling of woe when we hear that it is coming within a certain time frame and don't see anything happen I have sat here and watched the forums religiously over the last five days or so and seen topics rise and fall, but nothing pertaining to the new "push". If it's announced in game would it really be so hard to announce on these forums as well? I know I don't speak for myself when I say any information on new content is welcome and something to look forward to. Keep up the awesome job you are doing devs!!! But please don't leave us players out of the loop. We look forward to the anticipation of testing whatever new content you throw at us All we ask is that you communicate it to us, through these forums for those of us that can't be in game as much as some.

So your talking to some guy and he's taking out pictures of the wife and kids and you all are having a great time. then he pulls a gun and robs you, you yell at him because your anrgy that this seemingly nice person just stole from you. Cops come, throw you in jail for profanity cause your picking up your kid from school when it happens. Now your in the big house for a day cause you cursed in anger, while the thief is out there laughing all the way to the bank. Sorry, the punishment doesn't fit the crime, and to sit there and blame the entire guild for this, and punishment with the threat of disbanding is totally uncalled for. Edit: If i spent 30-40 minutes, clearing all the minions, circle kiting them solo and someone warped in to take the boss that they didn't even work for....i would be upset too, just like anyone else it happened to

After reading af_vet's response to the kill steal thread and his lack of knowledge on what actually happened, jumping to conclusions from a one sided screen shot. I have to say I'm done with this. If someone in a role such as his cannot get both sides of what happened and immediately jumps to a wrong conclusion, then what's the use of even playing this game. The game is supposed to be fun but I find no joy when the Head GM plans on banning a guild and has not even taken the steps necessary of his position to see what actually happened.

I also am having issues connecting today. Accepts username/p-word, handshakes, goes to loading screen then boots me back o login, where it accepts everything again and goes back to login after about a minutes or so. Just giving a heads up

On our "character sheet" we have vital information such as visibility, warp, deflects, scan, ect.....I am wondering why we don't have hard numbers for reactor recharge? This may seem like it's not too important to some, but when you have buffs that increase regen by 15%, 25%...it does help to see if the buff is working and ultimately what the cap is on our reactor recharge. Is it possible to add this? If for some reason it can't be added then that's ok, it's just something else that would be nice to be able to monitor.

The mentality of some people is just amazing. For them to sit there and be nice and turn around and knowingly KS is just beyond belief. People can sit back and say, oh it's just a game, which it is but the way you play a game does reflect on how you are in real life. For someone to be as selfish and uncaring as they are makes me glad they aren't in my guild cause i would hate to have my guild tarnished by 2 people with such low morals.

As it is now you can look at the list of lv 8 devices and Engines (to a lesser extent). Everyone can use them, there is nothing special about them. Devices are pretty much geared to be the best at this level and what I mean by that is that there are no drawbacks. What exactly is the allure of a lv 9 Engine? Is going 250 more warp @ lv 150 enough to put the points into that skill? I mean since lv 8 engines are the cap for many races/classes, and lv 9 don't have much more to offer, why Waste the points? Looking at sig, warp cost, overall warp....why pick a lv 9, when the best engine in game is lv 8? Devices. oh my devices, so many and yet so many that are useless. Lv 9 devices are a joke, this is something that is from live, there wasn't a single lv 9 device that was actually worth the points placed in the skill. The artifacts were good, but honestly...waste the skill points for a slight % chance of getting one? With focus on the newer classes balance being more geared on devices and engines I would hope to see the negatives that are not present on the lv 8's be removed from the lv 9's. This would make the classes more balanced, as it is you take a Jenqui Trader (lv 9 engine/device) and his benefit has become his weakness as there is no right minded individual that will waste points in lv 9 on either of those skills until well after lv 200ish...250 extra warp is not enough to have the extra sig, warp cost and whatever else becomes a hindrance of the lv 9 engines. Also the negative effects of lv 9 devices make them useless to everyone, lv 8 are far better as there are zero negative stats on them. Just an observation as it affects multiple classes, especially the new ones. JT, TS...useless end game skills other than weapons at lv 9.....

I have ferreted out all the pretty pictures you paint, and have left in that which bothers you the most. Interesting as it is, you blame one individual for something which anyone and everyone with the powers you listed can and have done for their friends. I was here during ST3, i saw how people (perhaps just 1 person, who knows) abuse power and deleted another players items, made loot only/end game items 0% quality. Yet you seem to think that 1 person swayed the game to a point where a new stress was needed yet fail to mention that a player was stripped of beta+/dev status and systematically abused by those still with the power to do just that during that stress. You fail to mention that after this happened to the man, other players were given items that DO NOT drop in game, yet not a damn thing happened to those giving the items, or the players receiving them. Perhaps the player stripped of status was on the outs and those still with the power didn't really care that what was good for the goose is good for the gander. And quite honestly after this happened to him devs came in market channel, asked, and gave people the exact same shit he gave people. yet...they are still devs and he, acording to you, is an asshole...kinda fucked up , isn't it. Lets be fair here, don't look for a witch hunt until you have all the facts, don't call out someone and call them an asshole on the forums until you know for sure their intentions to test things in this game were an abuse of power and not for the betterment of this game. Why do I speak for the person I assume your calling an asshole? Because if it's who I think it is, he's more of a man than you for not saying a word as this happened and sucking it up to keep beta testers that have been here from the start, playing. Cause believe it or not, that shit pissed off a whole lot of dedicated people and we'd be saying goodbye to more than just Shaddex for that witch hunt gone wrong. I understand quite a bit of what you said man, but calling someone out 2 months after stuff happened and being the person was disciplined (stripped of beta/dev powers) by the devs is infantile. Now the question is. Since I spoke up and defended someone, do I get the same treatment? My uber lv 5 gear reduced to zero? My account banned for speaking the truth? Who knows, after the way this person was treated I don't put anything by anybody. All I know is i want this game to succeed and i would like to be there when it does, but by God if your going to talk shit about someone get your facts straight and keep the rules fair for everyone. /end rant edit: And for the record, I never got anything item wise from the man I am speaking about. Me on the right...few years ago

More weapon mounts are not needed. learning how to use what you have to the best of your ability and succeed make you a better player, not more guns/devices. Moral of the story: Play a class with the amount of guns you wish to have to start with, then get good at playing them.

If you check thee database, and don't see a mob location/drop then it's not in game. Example would be Ghost's Edge beam, all stats there just no drop mob.
