1. Yeh, Dirt Grubbers: Hull @ 50 Token, Sentinels A Fistfull of ores: OL: 50 - 150, Prospect 4 - 7 Requires Token mission "Dirt Grubbers" *Repeatable stages* To be done in future (after all this intermediate content up to 150 done): post level 150 content for this Token mission (will then be using "For a few ores more" for this content, but rest assured not happening for a while). -- The XP is kind of correct but the amount of ore you have to supply can increase in relation to the reward gained at a particular level band at a particular skill level. So if you are supplying level 4 ore at overall level 53 you will get far better return for that ore than if you are supplying level 4 ore at level 141. This encourages spending time on the Prospect skill. "For a few ores more" simply now requires "A Fistfull of ores" to be completed." "A Fistful of ores" only can be completed (and never again selected) once the sentinel has reached level 150 and max prospect. Otherwise, the selected stage by the mission for the Sentinel can be repeated, up to infinity, until this happens. This is the idea with the bonus lines of missions for Token bonus. This bonus on the Token is comparable to the additional missions in a Stage I of Agrippa Tech, it should not be viewed as Stage II or III content. It is intended for "For a few ores more" to eventually be comparable to Stage III content. --- Tienbau got some nice code for the talk trees in missions that can restrict your viewing to relevant talk tree paths ( as long as the content developer places it in right). An example would be "Hello who are you" - <Code = Centuriata> My name is ----> Go to talk tree part 2 - <Code = Sentinel> My name is ----> Go to talk tree part 3 - Exit What Centuriata/Warriors and Sentinels would see in the talk tree is: "Hello who are you" - My name is *** - Exit But when they click on - My name is *** they would each see potentially two different talk trees that could go to different mission stages. Everyone else could see: "Hello who are you" - Exit This does mean that once used recusively on missions, some missions (faction, race etc) may not see all the talk paths...
2. In the next push this will be [Version Final]. a) Bonus mission following on from Sentinel Token Mission "Dirt Grubbers" at level 50 b ) Immediately available on Prospect Skill 4+ c) Mission allows you to select the level of ore you wish to commit to the buyer d) Ore supply related to Prospect skill level. e) However, the mission dynamically checks your overall level. Higher levels at Level 4 ore supply may not be as adventagous as equivalent levels at level 8 ore supply. f) Reward of credits and trade experience. Where the sentinel is receiving less rewards to the amount or type of ore given in, consider higher level skill / ores. g) Each stage of the mission can be repeated, apart from the end stage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- h) "For a few ores more" is subject to change. - can only be obtained when "A fistfull of ores" is completed. A fistfull of ores only can be completed on reaching level 150 and maxing the prospect skill. Otherwise, "For a few ores more" is currently unchanged.
3. Stage I require build skills @ level 5 and to give over a Token per mission line when you have level 100 hull upgrade and cannot be obtained when you have the level 135 hull upgrade.
4. I realise that. However, the ethos also behind Agrippa Technology is that it does not exclude classes from developing their build skills because the new Privateer can do all their build skills (except devices) If you can't develop trades / group / guild development lines between Progen in a MMO, then Agrippa Technology as a mission line(s) is not for you. This is enforced in Agrippa Missions. Player interraction required. Stage I of Agrippa Technology is more convoluted than Stage II. Its almost like early days of any Project, before it is released for more to test. ================================================== All the other Token missions tend to not require as intense player interraction. Or none at all. Agrippa Technology missions are for players working together (or in the case of some of them, a player giving or selling an item to someone they don't know to test an item; who may be a evil player and then have aminosity against them in the game. A MMO is many players and Agrippa Technology supports this concept)
5. you wrote something wrong down and it isn't the CL ** Byakhee must be feeling charitable at Xmas here**
6. Tricks of the Trade Token mission currently has my attention for the high level content that branches off from it. <Thats' all the info release at the moment>
7. This is why A.grippa Technology starts with an A also...
8. This is why there are 3 people to speak to about tokens in the Bar of Arx Magister. Although hopefully ** fingers crossed ** their talk trees will soon become more relevant. you can obtain further tokens if you can get a gold token off any Progen player in game, take it to the respective NPC in arx magister and exchange it for 1 mission token. all progen players going through the token missions get a gold token at level 135. Some may not have figured out that this token is a means to trade a mission token to another player. ** progen only **
9. Agrippa Technology is the research arm of the Collegia of the Progen Race. This 'Advantage Technology' is Terran counter intelligence from their puny and inferior traders. It does not and will not grant you any rights to the blueprints of Agrippa Technology. Round 2 of the information war will continue.
10. Mimir, That is not this mission, sorry. That mission died when the missions got revamped 2-3 years ago. ** may be revamped for a bonus from this Token mission though This is a mission for a very very very very very very very very very hungry creature. Maybe it wants more? (The original talk tree did drop some hints, and you get told where to go to feed it. There isn't a lot in that system to kill for what it could eat.)
11. Confirm: Since the last patch each examination item will also cost 1 million credits. This has been implemented to stop a sudden gain of 900,000 credits by successful dissasembly and selling of these level 9 items. You still can, but will barely break even now. Progens: via stage I ( infinite buys, but still pay 1 million credits per buy) via Symbol of Loyalty ( 1 buy per symbol + 1 million credits ) Anyone: via invite ( 1 buy per invite + 1 million credits ) Note. The invite is rarer than the Symbol of loyalty, but is the only route for Jenquai or Terrans to take part in Stage II. You also will need positive Collegia Faction, as the research is to develop items for the Collegia to give their Centuriata backers. Invite can only be made by Progen completing Stage I. They also can only make limited amounts of this invite. Items therefore will have a Centuriata bias to them. ==================== Please note, it is my intention to try to make all bonus missions for Tokens to have equivalent rewards, at the moment however it is a lot easier to make missions that allow people to build items than it is for raid instances etc that can be initiated by people who have done a particular line. The reason why some Skeleton missions are in 75-100 line is so that if you did intend to do this mission line, you are not excluded in future by now doing this line, for future content that relies on this token mission. A simple NPC talk tree is in place (eventually fleshed out to a propper mission) with a reward equal to that of the full mission. Of course currently these skeleton missions have no bonus missions applied to them. The build missions are complete; currently working on the Privateer Negociate Token Mission tree 75-100.
12. Pertinent hints (not full instructions but enough to point you towards the required object to start the next mission). However, this is future content planned. Although, taking the recap may loose you some Collegia Faction (first of all checking that you have enough to loose).
13. Currently this mission is NPC talk tree only - full reward given as if full mission. So basically, this is the range of 75-100 token missions. All you have to do currently is to talk to the NPC, give over the token and the mission then completes. The code for the mission is being developed but, as these are skill related I didn't want to open another can of worms by not having the starting token missions in for potential bonus content and people not being able to get the token missions for these content. They are in, they just are talk to npx, talk to another npc. Oh, and they give exactly the same amount of rewards as they will when completed. Should you select these missions you will be putting something in your mission list for later content. These are the hardest to put in at the moment. Each should provide similar content to Stage I Agrippa (so thats up to 4 extra missions not yet coded).
14. I'm aware of the NPCs stonewalling characters until you have an object in your ships hold. In future I hope to have a more interractive NPC who knows (heh) what stage of the mission tree you are at and give some kind of cryptic insult hint as to what they are expecting. However, such hints are distracting them from the research so they may implement a penalty of negative Collegia faction for the distraction. All this is subject to code developers and is potential future content. At the moment Agrippa is completable (if you have the right stuff) so my main attention is now focussed on the 75-100 token missions ending in SK that simply are just NPC talk trees and you do nothing at all.
15. The examination item is a new item only can be got by the mission, so you will not have encountered it before. Due to some economy changes, there will be a cost to this item (per item) of 1 million credits in addition to the requirement of entry. This is likely to arise in a further patch. Current cost of this item is 10 k cr. The items will be level 9, your Build Shields skill at level 7 allows building/analyzing of level 8-9 shields.
16. I'd have something but they've chopped off my fingers to protect the Progen players.
17. Agrippa Technology Stage I Progen Mission Token (Limited amounts) Correct hull requirement You also need to have level 5+ in Build Weapons for the Level 100-134** Token Mission ** or greater if you have not obtained your final hull upgrade. Agrippa Technology Stage II Max level in weapon builds (Build Weapons 7) Start: 2000 Collegia Faction (Start farming it if your not lucky enough to be a Privateer) A means to enter it, either via Stage I; an extremely rare invite; or a medal awarded to Progen. Agrippa Technology Stage III Only open to Progen who have done Stage I and II
18. As content improves in the game, as more things become 'finalized' then talk trees could become more verbose and interactive with the NPC. Key thing to do is to get the content working first and then the talk trees can be embellished later on.
19. Actually it is not that suprising. To get past that stage you just have to reach level 50 To get past the next stage you just need to get the level 50 hull upgrade. This is why its' just a guide to the promotion, it will automatically update at set stages. Think of an airlock - Required level: 50 (entry door), get told where to go at level 50 (named person / named location) - Required Hull @50 (exit door), get told completed after completing mission (named person / named location) Thats' all the guide really is a series of airlocks giving information, faction, experience and tokens.
20.
How did you progress from this point? I'm stuck at this too on my PP. OL 71 with level 5 PL, level 5 build weapons and 4 stacks of Effervo Flachette ammo in the cargo hull.
What is your PP planning to do? Remember, the talk tree does state that Gratis Augustus Var has requested that the Progen Warriors are involved in creating advanced ammunition for Agrippa Technology. Only Progen Warriors will be able to create the full range of ammunition for Agrippa Technology, Privateers will be able to create the basic type(s) and invited other specialists in stage II can create their racial standard damage type. As specified in the talk tree from the previous mission: "We don't have time for long studies, we need ammunition now! Here is the blueprint for the impact flachettes. See how the weapon makes use of more lower damage ammunition to give an overall increased damage chance!" "For your assistance in creating this ammunition which is required for Progen Warriors to develop more advanced ammunition, we are awarding you our highest medal - the Symbol of Loyalty and the respect of the Collegia Traders. This can be used to gain entry into Stage II of Agrippa Technology, you exchange it for an examination in your chosen field, good luck!" "I have also been informed that Gratis Augustus Var has requested more advanced ammunition made by warriors only. These warriors will require a sample of the impact ammunition and the weapon to further their studies." You do gain a Symbol of Loyalty which you could use in future to buy into Stage II for a chance of doing an examination. I can't wait until hints can be entered into the captain's log.
21. Original post Date: April Current: June I'm in process of enhancing missions at the moment (cutting out waste, embellishing flavour text), but no dramatic changes. Token mission bonuses should be eligible to people (not sure why they aren't). There is no new content as im trying to get the current stuff robust at the moment. GMs have a full guide to Stage I of AT, but if you have not done the original Token mission (which is the same mission ID and the same mission as the very wierd pay credits or do missions for hull upgrades) early part of Progen missions, then there should be no reason why you cant get it Other than those in the guides. Actully figured how to enhance it for Reactor builders in stage I too... As to posts, due to fresh install I'm re-reading all again.. In fact, take it as typed, there will be no additional missions requiring specified hull upgrades put in for Progen now. Some missions may be incomplete (ie just talk trees that give the end reward as if you did a whole mission, true). But all can be completed.
22. In reply to Iceminer, If you have completed Stage I then there should be a means for you to develop further because those missions have not changed in over a year or so. Probably 18 months now. The last major content added was Stages II / III so I'm not sure why you can't get into Stage III if you have done stage I and II and have all the required Collegia Faction ( 8500 + ) you should gain entry into III. The only changes being done to missions at the moment are cutting out some waste and text talk tree changes. The end stage of stage I requires you to have an Security Optimal Override Alpha. There is a mission (243) which provides means of obtaining this item, via a rather crappy shield. However, this shield can only be made by Sentinels who took the Agrippa Technology Build Devices route. You may be unfortunate to have mission crossover in the time where the missions were changing almost every day. To check this, have a look at your build lists. See if you have an Amplector Omega Shield listed in it. If you do and you have mission (243) then this is a normal route and you should have no problems. If you don't then you did this mission way in the past when it gifted a CFB. Ask a GM to remove it from your log and if you have done the other Stage I missions which are unchanged you should then see a new mission which then supplies the means to continue. This is the means to continue only though. Your Mission line: Token Mission • Get the Amplector Omega Shield take to Scuti {from a sentinel who has done device building of Stage I } • Get the item out of the Amplector Omega Shield and take to Scuti, completes Stage I • Complete Stage II • Including paying for costs into stage III • Start Stage III I'll be putting a post in the GM section so they can be able to trace through Stage I in case this is a problem for others, however in your case removal of mission 243 may kick-start the process.
23. Build < x > tends to lead down a research < x > route to gift you blueprints of < x >. However, there is strong player-interraction and class-interraction with the build < x > lines. I would reccomend speaking to Centuriata Nota on Arx Magister. She has a whole wealth of knowledge as to what skills and their levels will be required on each of the hull upgrade stages for the Progen Warrior.
24. In reply to Peorth: Build Shields 7 required before you can start Stage II. In fact all Stage II require maximum build skills - they only want the best...
