  3. I do remember it as everybody who does "damage" gets faction hit... Healers aside...   Rather than equally split, I think everybody should get same faction hit & gain... Not splitted, directly like solo kill...

Granted, there is no way you can add anything to UI and according to Stanig, mission text character count is limited...   And sometimes including me, can pass dialogues a bit faster and then we stuck in questions about our missions, sometimes there are people to Show a point, and sometimes not anybody out there... But while we could solve the riddle, we can't, if we had not skip fast or missed a point, a wording, a simple text in dialogue...   My suggestion is a web-based mission tracker, NPC dialogues...   Missions are linear, and same for almost all people (aka does not change person to person if they are allowed / meet requirements, so steps and texts of NPC's are also static exception of name variable --which I will add as %NAME%)   While we could transfer item over web, I think there can be a way to Show our "Active missions" on our characters...   Active missions of SiSL:   - Mission name (4/5)   So in web we would see something like that (example and entire dialogues are fiction)     Mission name: X   NPC Name: Hello %NAME%,  Can you get find get me Ostrae Vega frond You: Why should I do that? NPC Name: You will get a lovely meal, they should be near nav point Z   STEP: 1/5  Find and kill an Ostrae Vega  (as written on UI mission text)   STEP: 2/5: Go back to NPC   NPC Name: Oh you found it, now find me its coconut   STEP 3/5 Find its coconut       That would be lovely for people who try and solve puzzles and kind of mission log of modern games to our legacy client, even at web... Also save content developers from writing Wall of text on UI texts.   I am ready for flames of "you shudda read first!" elites.   As topic, this is a suggestion and may be hard work for Shaddex, but if done, saves lots of people including players and content developers...

All these hypocrasy brings tear to my eyes...   I've seen most reknown names of this galaxy doing 'cherry picking', but here it is all politics...   Good term by the way, especially new ones who does not really know what it is, people call others every time with such title, yet what they are angry with is not cherry picking, because they could not get the cooler loot. "I always clear the hulks" is a shameless lie you know...   You jump hulk to hulk, pick loot first; if you have time may be you turn back and clear the rest and that's a big may be... (You in general, not pointed at any of you)
  7. My computer is old, its about 5 years old (nowhere old to win an ancient computers competition ofcourse)   I modified it ever since, changed GFX card, added memory etc.. It's also my workcomputer... Currently running on Windows 8 x64   Core2Quad 6600, 8 GB Ram etc.

Because it really does not make sense since they drop from corpses of Red Dragons   Kill a guy on purpose, steal his wallet, return wallet to family and family forgives you.   Yes, it would be lovely never to loose faction with Red Dragons but as I said above, does not make sense.   If those tiles were dropping off Chavez, or any other mobs, it would be logical.

(not original title but as suffix bottom of their names), since we can't change client side anything, can be something from Net-7.org changable titles....   For instance:   - Harvested more than 1000 hulks : Scavanger - Harvested more than 1000 ores: Digger - Killed more than 1000 organic creatures: Hunter - Killed more than 1000 non-organic ships: Mercenary - Done more than 1000 jobs : Dutyman - Crafted more than 1000 items - Analyzed more than 100 items - Used more than 1000 Gates - Spent more than 10000 ammo - Spent more than 1000 hours: Sleepless - ...     Or collections: - Killed every type (or n times) of X Mob : Doom of Zenshai, Red Dragon's Bane, Bogeril poker etc. - Harvested every level of Prototype Engines etc, some other title etc. etc... -...   Examples can be limitless if there is some way to store data...   Not on chat channels, but in game titles:   Admiral SiSL, achivement title [Guild title]   Additional titles for finishing epic quest lines, Aggripa, Neptune Saviour, Red Dragon rank titles   Would be fun, do I want it? Not eagerly, but it is a side-content fun to achieve something :)   Just an idea...

  11. Interesting if someone found a way to get people into BBW without +2K faction of RD (which would be exploit)   He/she probably meaning people who already have 2K but never got into it (which would be weird, working much to get RD faction and never stepping / exploring in)

  15. Back to original topic after all these reads?   Ofcourse casual building is DEAD & BURRIED... Not "hardcore" or "fed by guild" builders will have much chance on marketing or selling department. It was dead in origins too if you want to hear that, just have a more shiny gravestone now...    Reading all these answers here, not one remotely responds to that main question "Is casual building dead"   Everyday market channel is full of dramas of people on price tags or people making it only for button-click price; "bring your own components, guarenteed 200%, pay-for-click" etc. etc and other opposing blah blah blah...   In an enviroment if someone guarantees 200% ALL-THE-TIME, nobody will buy anything lower than that... Nobody would want to go any other builder that does not guarantee such thing...   No, in live, 200% was NEVER guaranteed all the time on L9, yes, percentage gets higher & higher but never 200% guaranteed. But then again, we had Quality DECAY in live...    I see people's answers with rare recipes or people who mapped almost all recipes... Ofcourse system is good for them...   ----   Responding the original question, trade has problem of "does it worth now" thing...   - Bring your own components, pay the button cost is not trade at all, it is a choice but not meant to be called 'trade'  - Trade means profit, where is profit when your button costs twice, from refining - component building - final builts? - Same old argument of "...but but you get 200% item" , oh yes, 200% item does not mean 200% better stats you know... It's just better stats, but considering time to build something from finding ores -> refine -> building components one by one -> finalizing build... you are better with 100% item to worth this time... you just don't realise it often...    It just does not worth hassle, loosing millions of credits to build - rebuilt to get better on crafting if you are not mother of a large guild...   Me? I'm not building for anyone... Nor advertise... I do it for fun to my toons because then again, my toons won't complain to me just because it is not 200%
  16. Actually enbmaps.de might be wrong,   For instance it says InfinitiCorp for Earth Station while it is actually EarthCorps...   When you dock at station, you will get often a docking message, this is often tells you what faction station is...

  19. Best time to test is when server is down...   It was nice thing our server had over 54 hours of uptime since last offline. If any features or requests, I may try to add them.
  20. While could not test in all Windows versions vs. service packs, will be glad if posting any bugs (except 2 minutes minimum rate not always showing ---on the fly)

Can we at least have some of 'ammo' items dropped/mined rather than praying to critical analyze gods?   Such as L6 Athanor Adamentine AMF2 ?   They used to drop from EarthCorps Level 33 ships in Earth, but seems those ships does not exist anymore... Should we expect Level 6 items to drop from L50+ now since it is "rare" ™?   I don't think "ammo" parts should be THAT rare  (especially the ones you can find in stacks on vendors) , only a radically experimental current build analyze system to decide.   so if anyone know drop location of that or a seems to be drop only parts component, lets know about it.

  23. Thanks Kyp. I had one of the greatest losts in 1 hour server not-saving things, I talked to Blacklung and I moved on.   As long as you don't keep silent and keep us informed & updated about status, no problems...  We are all behind you guys...
