TBH. I have not been a contributing member of BI since Magoo left the head position.  If it makes any feel any better or my opinions hold more weight, then I will quit BI.  I am sure it will not break any ones hearts in guild.   The thing is it is BI this week and what guild will it be next?        Just saying, Mim Formally a BI member

OK....so how is asking that this be handled off forum, diverting? For future reference.

I was only trying to keep the dirty laundry off the main boards.  It may be rational but Alurra has been our rep for long enough to know who the leads are and or how to find out, without involving everyone on the forums.     The original post sounded (text messages are hard to interpret) as some were being called out for raiding out of turn.       Asking that such discussions be held in private is not diverting.   This type of forum PvP only serves to inflame parties. Most, some, a few  don't even know what is all about and become pissed off. If there has been violations on the rotation agreement the parties (Big three and a public rep) need to work it out (out of the forums) and then post the results of that meeting here.

I know I saw it... Maybe I saw it in a dream.  Either way it sickens me that the good will has dissolved into a free for all ....again.   My posts here are contributing to keeping this crap alive so done (mostly).  I still say that it is something that coulda, shoulda, woulda, been handled better.     A call (in game) for a meet with the "Big Three" and a public rep, i.e. Alurra to discuss rationally instead of in here to scare away new players.       As always...Just saying, Mim       Just saying, Mim 

It was... as it was a very current post.  I saw grumbling on the chat channels and came here to see if it was posted.  The only reference at that time was the thank you by a participant saying roughly "a good time was had by all" .  I guess it pissed off more than it made happy.     Mim

Now that the cat is out of the bag, the horse has left the building... what about shelving this thread until a resolution is made? I can see this devolving into an all out flame war here and in game.  It may already be too late but there is hope cooler heads will prevail.       Perhaps this was just an oops, a one time occurrence, a hot days of summer temper flair? I don't raid but....  A public calling out is probably not going to make any feel any better about this.     My suggestion (after the cat is out of the bag, or locking the barn door after the horse escapes) is to keep this between you (Advocate) as the impartial? moderator and the guild leads.  There has been enough public channel moaning about this situation.     Remember folks, it is all just pixels....       Just saying,  Mim

I installed Windows 10 yesterday.  No issues yet except a bit of lag this morning in game.  Others have experienced some issues with the config program for EnB, but I will let them tell it if they are so inclined.

I know about those.  I had a SlingBox that had a forced super secret update (read we did not have a choice).  It did brick my box.  After many emails it was replaced.  But Microsoft wouldn't do that. ;)

I think the devs can play anything (or at least they could).  I remember in ST4 Harvey kept following me all around Cooper. I was soooo tempted to let him have it.  Good thing I held off as it was either a dev or GM at the time.

I think that for me, when we went to Milan(o) we were allowed to climb to the top of churches that were built before Columbus (nod to Italy) or even Eric the something (nod to the vikings) came to our shores.  This may have changed but with hour =/- flights you can cover much of Europe in a short amount of time.  Also (If this has not changed) once you are there, travel between countries is/was easy peasy.   While in England watch out for the cabs... Look right NOT left for oncoming traffic while crossing the streets.        Words of wisdom from an almost flattened Mim.

Here are my thoughts on this question.     First, EA would never ever NEVER have the guys from Westwood back. Not that EA would not want/need them but pretty sure once burned the Westwood guys learned the same lesson we did...   Second, having watched the development of this game from the start this development crew is dedicated  (read Holyman's post) to bringing this game back.     Third, You may say that it is NOT the same as the original but it is so close that the Westwood guys have given their stamp of approval on the project.  There were posts before the great server crash.    Forth, I accept changes (some begrudgingly - read B's Progen additions) We should accept the current developers need to add their own ideas into the project. This is mostly done by committee... most off the wall changes are kept to a minimum. (The committee must have been sleeping when B slipped in the Agrippa idea).   In closing the ONLY way I would even consider going back to EA is if they brought this development crew with the game.  But I would think long and hard, and hope the devs here did the same.    "Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me."     Just saying, Mim

Now you post that... :)  Not sure why when I did it I thought the books were endless....I must have messed up a step or three and had to delete everything to get another book. And then discovered that I could not get another.   

You can't have ANY of the parts in hull nor inventory.  But he eventually will just stop offering them.  I spammed the local DT channel and asked for books or bones.  I was lucky to be answered, and got the remaining gnawed bones needed.  It is also said that they are in the hulks in DT.  Although after 2 days of searching I never found one.     Just saying, Mim

OOOPs!!! Read the guide!  The free books do run out, long before you complete this mission.  I like it so far but I had the weirdest feeling that "B" is behind this. :)

*cough* *cough*    Reasonable request.   I'm not sure if do-able but...ship contents ARE able to be viewed in the portal.  Transfers ARE currently able to be done in the portal...   Soooo what if the actual build really does NOT take place BUT... Ammo stacks can be purchased with a trade for comps and credits and replaced with pre-built stacks. Component parts can go to the big bit bucket in the sky and all credits can go to MimirPS.     Seems a relatively painless (and valued for many) request.     Just saying, Mim

Now my interest has been re-ignited.  Damn you Snow :) I found the files, (web site went the way of my company) But I have copies.  Looking to convert to 3D printer format.  I also fount the original EnB transmission files, these should be located in the project archives.     Just saying, Mim

I would think that if you are the only one having this issue. (Read no others posting similar issues) I would check my hardware. You didn't say if the graphics card was on the mother board or not but... I would do a hardware system scan.       Just saying, Mim
