  3. I completely understand Laloric is only posting an interesting bit of irony, and growing up, I myself remember calling that act of spitting the same thing, (run on sentence yet?) I don't think it is relevant enough to distract from the OP which is, (has to be run on by now) that offensive language is not appropriate in an MMO. To drive that point home, I'm an instructor in the military and I don't allow offensive language in my classroom, regardless of all of us being "thick-skinned" and grown up. I do swear, but it has it's places; gaming, where it may impact another person's enjoyment and in the professional classroom environment where it can detract from the lesson are not among the list of places it should be allowed.

He provides all the information needed, but just once. How else do you implement difficulty into a game where skill is measured by the ability to push a button when needed?
  5. Updated the Progen Warrior to include an added column. On an off-topic, how do you take screen shots? One of my next updates after I finish all the classes' required level columns I want to include a level description.

  8. Hmmm, my sigs don't seem to be working. My TS is lvl 56 and my JS is 82, I've updated them 2 or 3 times at net-7.org in the last week but they're still reporting what they were when most of my toons were in the 30s. I'll repost after I bump them again in a minute.

  11. I think this is all a misunderstanding. Byakhee doesn't affect server side programming and so he introduces new and "exciting?" missions into the game that weren't in live. Some players see that he's devoting an immense amount of time to implementing these missions, but they don't see stability, player reported bugs, graphical upgrades, or such being introduced as quickly as Byakhee is able to introduce a whole line of missions so they ask "WTF?" Then other people skim through the topic for various reasons (I skimmed a bunch of Kyp's, Maniacs and Mimir's responses because I'm in a time crunch atm) pick and choose things that stood out and proceed to start the devolving circle and then others get defensive and so on and so forth. I think the reason I like these boards so much is because that whole circle rarely happens. (I've had a 75 page flame on other boards stem from 2 phrases I stated in an OP) Anyway, that's my 2 cents worth, to sum it up; it was just a misunderstanding/misconception.
  12. There have been other threads on this. If I wasn't on my phone I would link them, but be assured they are already looking into making the mount positions player customizeable for all classes, not just for TTs.
  13. Just assign a value to each debuff, the weaker the debuff by relevancy, the stronger it gets. On the uber builds have a random high chance for two debuff with a smaller random chance at having two debuff that have a higher relevancy value. It would also encourage cross-race building. At work, on my phone, but I'll try to explain better later. I like the idea

  16. eq2players.com is SOE run and maintained, with a station access subscription which is $29.99 and allows you to play any of their games, does have a loot database you can browse. They provide access for lootdb.com and eq2.zam.com to pull directly from their database and correlate all the information for items to zone, mob and level. I'm not saying I want ENB Emu staff to make the database completely available to the player base. IMO, it's fine the way it is; just allowing us access to know what is available currently. I would however, like to see it updated more regularly. Just going off personal knowledge I know the lvl 2 and 3 Nova Flash is no longer dropped by any mob, but the database still says it has hidden drops. I'm sure there are other items with similar circumstances. I also think the main difference between ENB and any other MMO is that ENB is completely contested. No other MMO I know runs strictly contested, raids are instanced, several zones are instanced and having a wide open loot database won't directly affect play. With ENB being contested, I think the devs may also be a little concerned about the same people camping the same mobs/hulks/roids and not letting the other 90% of the server population get in. Personally, I would much rather have a site maintained by the player base for mob locations, loot drops, and the sort. However, like Kyp, CDel and others have stated, there's nothing wrong with a fansite running with a loot database. It won't always be 100% accurate and will be pulled from player experience, not straight from the loot tables. If given enough information we can also start to implement drop rates and that kind of thing.

The level limits are already in place though and the # of skill points used is determined by what you choose for the level already.
  19. The only thing I read about multiple toons from http://www.net-7.org/Net_7_Entertainment_Code_of_Conduct_v5.1.pdf is the logging in of multiple toons from a single account. I haven't seen anything stating a limit to the number of accounts a person may log at once. If my use of 6 accounts at once is a violation of anything and a content lead tells me, I will immediately stop doing it. I was under the impression that it was just the limitations of the computer/network you were on. But as to the OP's question, I find the logitech gaming keyboard software more than adequate for my needs while boxing 6 toons.
  20. Thanks for all the info on Macs, linux and unix, but please keep the discussion to character skills so I can update my spreadsheet accordingly. I find it handy at least and thought I would share it. As far as the update to it, that will have to wait until tonight when I have the time to edit and post it. I woke up late this morning. If anyone knows of any other classes that need updating, please let me know, especially PS, TE and JD since I don't currently have one of those. BTW, I found an ores list, the other spreadsheet has been turned into an access database, by the time I'm done with it you should be able to 1) Create a character 2) Choose his/her class 3) Choose their build skills 4) Choose from a list of possible builds 5) See all build components needed from unrefined ores to components to final build 6) Select which final builds you have scanned to make for a quick reference guide while in-game. Let me know if there is anything else you would like implemented while I'm still designing it. I haven't decided on a final format so the end-state is still fluid.

  22. I use a logitech keyboard and have assigned key combinations to different keys. Running all 6 of my accounts on one computer I can alt+tab through all 6 for a rotation if I need to focus on one, I have a button setup to alt+tab through every toon and focus on nearest mob and attack, I have one setup to login each toon with username as password. So far it's worked well for me, no real hiccups except when I focus on one or two toons at a time to knock out class missions, then I have to do things manually.

[/quote] I forgot what is currently in game, isn't on the net-7 character planner. JE's just got a new skill similar to menace as well. Looks like I'll have to change my spec around some to accomodate. I'll update the spreadsheet and repost it tomorrow morning when I'm able to get in-game and check out the JT and JE. I moved it up to my initial post. as well.
