That happens sometimes when you and the server aren't communicating well. Try bringing it flowers and/or chocolate next time ;)

If it is a BL (or any GM for that matter) spawned raid then he usually requests the public to come and play. Everyone is included in his raids. So, everyone involved in that raid should also be included in the rolling for any loot that drops.  That includes those smaller groups that didn't deal all the damage but showed up and fought as hard as the rest.   I would like to reiterate what Red said in regards to speaking to the leadership of this (these) guilds. I am sure they can get a handle on what is going on and get it straightened out so it doesn't happen again.   I am sorry that you had to put a post in the public forums to try and get some assistance with this issue. The server isn't down and hasn't been down at all today ... or even recently for that matter, that I'm aware of ...   Sounds like you might have a problem in your install somewhere...

It is probable that this is one of the devices that is 'flagged' due to it's essentially useless status.

Again I think this all comes down to what expectations are.   Yes, I have an EOFF. No, I don't currently use it, but that is because I have not been playing much on my JD.   On the other side of this coin. I also have a Plague's Bite that has been in my vault for I have no idea how long now collecting dust bunnies, because even when I do take my JD out, i just don't use it. My playing style just doesn't warrant hot swapping gear in and out constantly for this buff, that buff or the other.   You see how my play style might be different then yours? To me, the PB is an 'obsolete' device, but I know many others who would throw a veritable fit if I were to vendor it or whatever.   Do you kind of understand what I am saying here?   There are so many objects in this game, and just because some of them get more playtime than others, does not make them obsolete or useless or even mean they need to be changed to make them better than they are.   There are items that are already in game that fulfill those very qualities you would like to see assigned to these particular things.   I don't dispute that you feel that way and you certainly are not being faulted for feeling that way. Please don't misunderstand me.   Me, personally, I like the variety. I like the ability to just play with the different combinations to achieve what I want to achieve. If I don't like the way it works, then I will change it out for something that might be more suitable.   I think if you were speaking specifically from a point that said you can't get certain buffs, enhancements without changing these items to get that ability, that would be a different story.   Let's take this bit by bit:   Zenrei Cannon: Gives a turbo weapons (projectile) of 27.5 % on equip. That is at 100%. You would ask to have it buildable to 200%. Would that not dramatically increase it's turbo properties that would unbalance the game in the long run? Especially if you add on top of that any activated buffs that stack. Let's say the waking nightmare and the CVE. It also gives a cruising speed boost of 234. Again, that removes the need of a device slot all alone, but if you could make it even faster by building it to 200% wouldn't that make it a bit overpowered and perhaps make say, the cat's paw a now useless and defunct item because of it?   The reaver: Already reduces weapons cost by 36.5% ; enhances damage by 30% and gives a 2880 scan boost. Give that 200% qualities and who the heck would even need a JE for that DEA buff? Now the DEA is kind of defunct.   We already covered the EOFF ;)   Made to Live: All the buffs that beam produces for a JE is the ONLY way a JE can get those buffs since many of the damage increases/ weapons costs items are warrior only. Now open that up for all the jenquai. Suddenly the JD has a super duper new beam that gives all he /she needs with little to no need for ANY other devices. Damage increase/Critical targetting/hdc/shield increase .. I mean the buffs on that one beam alone make it fantastic for a JE because they really can't get the buffs it provides without it. That to me screams OVERPOWER and overkill for anything other than the JE.   the ED: would only be useful to jenquai anyway since it's L9.  But in conjunction with the MTL for a JE while the JE might still not be overpowered in the sense it could take the place of a warrior, it is slipping into more of a warrior role rather than an explorers role. You can make a JE more warrior like with the gear that is provided, but it will never be as strong as a JD and was never meant to be.   Hellbore: This is one of those weapons that I am not terribly sure about. I know that both of them have different timers for reload, one at 22 the other at 15 or so. The buffs on them both make the weapons a desirable one because they remove the necessity of device slots being needed for debuffs for other skills.

Just checking the prototype reorder box on the launcher didn't work for you?   That seems to be the most common issue for new/returning players and it also seems to be the fix that gets them up and running.   If you have already tried that option, it doesn't need to be done in conjuction with ANY of the other options, and it didn't work, I will have to defer to someone with more knowledge in this realm than I.   I hope you get the assistance you require which will enable you to play seamlessly.   Best of luck.

I tend to disagree and here is why.   While some of the gear might be deemed useless by some players, there are others who use these items in conjunction with certain setups to achieve a certain goal.   Much like how we all dress or eat, why would we want all the same things on the buffet or in the closet all the time? We all have individual playing styles and preferences. What might be a great or perfect setup for you, might not be what I want to use because my playing style is different.   You said specifically the EOFF should be buildable and your reasoning was that the only other option for conservation is the Deadly Focus. Wouldn't that in turn make the deadly focus now pointless?   To me, having options is the way to go. I don't want to have 'cookie cutter' toons that EVERYONE should have this that or the other thing. If I want advice about what is best, or what is the most 'popular' than I can always ask, but part of the fun of the game is the ability to equip all of these different things to achieve a different outcome.   I suspect that some of the other items you talk about are likely designed to be the way they are to avoid making them overpowered. Meaning the buffs/enhancements they add at the 'looted' percentage is equitable, but to get more would unbalance the game long term. Of course, I don't know this for sure, but that is my thoughts on it.   I would certainly encourage others to respond here with their thoughts as well though.   Fly Safe   -Alurra

I think you should read all of the content before attacking. The entire 'raid trigger' thing being made more like the fishbowl has been talked, talked, talked some more and eventually put at the bottom of the very long list the Emu team is currently working on. It was up to us, the player base to work out something that resembles 'normalcy' so everyone could enjoy the content.   While this rotation is not the absolute perfect solution, it certainly allows for the vast majority of the player base to enjoy and participate in the 'end game' content, which was exactly what it was implemented for.   For ONE person to be disgruntled about how they perceive things to be and then proceed to ruin the game 'fun' for others because they aren't happy is just wrong. It is uncalled for and it is immature at best.   If you have valid reasons why things are not working for you, things that can be addressed by making adjustments to something, then by all means, please, speak up and we can all try to work together to get something done.   If you are doing it solely because you have a warranted or unwarranted hatred of the "Big 3" then I would instead suggest you get to know the players of those "Big 3" and make a determination about each of those players based on their own merit, not by what flag they fly.   As always   Fly Safe!   -Alurra

I only have one response to your final statment here, Mr. Magoo.   You called out two people, Tritia (sp?) and Lumia.   I would like to point out that I didn't see either of those two people involved in this particular conflict.   I saw two people involved, neither with names even remotely close to those you mention here.   You said yourself that a lot of folks have misconceptions and hyp and hyperbole and what not and such about you and your guild.   You want cold hard proof to show these things to be truth. I couldn't agree with you more on this point. Any and all claims should be backed up with evidence of wrongdoing (or even rightdoing if it's questioned).   I would just like to say, since neither of the two you listed in your previous post were there, perhaps you should follow your own advice and not 'call folks out' if you don't know it was them?   The first step in getting things right is to not be hypocritical and call for one thing while doing the exact opposite.

I think you will find, as I told Magoo earlier in a private conversation; that the bigger you are, the bigger that target is.   There were reasons why the rotation was implemented. There were / are some who just clash no matter the situation. In order for the MANY to participate the rotation had to be implemented. The rules were set up and agreed upon by all involved.   I think, as adults, we can all agree that when the rules start to break down, it rapidly degrades from there. I don't know who was giving Magoo a hard time and who was not. If he wishes to participte in the public raids, I don't know if there is an objection. If he is co-ordinating the raids on the public week; I think that is where these folks are putting their objections in.   The reason there was a new rotation was such that the public would also have a fair chance at the same 'uber' items that the 'Big 3' were accessing. There are some who would say "Well if BI is doing the public raid week, then they are getting 2 weeks in each rotation, that's not fair". From there it only would degrade and cause bickering, arguing and more drama that just is not needed.   There are some folks who just say 'let it be'. The sad truth is that each and every person on this game has his/her own opinion about 'fair' and if those opinions differ, even slightly, then 'all hell' tends to break loose; and in such a small environment it is felt even to the last newest player on the server.   Today was first hand experience in what kind of potential drama could be unleashed.   This is my personal opinion regardless of the [ADV] tag. I have stated many times, I don't care where you park your ship or who your guild leader is. This is how I live my life each day in the game and out. I am bound to offend someone in some fashion with my statments and that is OK. Your views are not the same as mine and I respect that. All I ask is that you do that same for me.

Silly thing, but is your prototype reorder box checked on your launcher?   Haven't seen you around in a while, so assuming you haven't been playing for a while, so that might be part of your issues. It certainly sounds like what happens when that isn't checked.   If that isn't the issue, well I'm sorry I really have no idea.

I don't think I can help you here. I would wait to have someone that can help to reset you. It usually doesn't take long.

You have to activate your account before you can alter/change the password, I believe.   Did you activate the account yet? It would send an activation email to whatever address you used.   If you did not activate the account, then it is likely the account was not created and you should try again.   If I am mistaken about this, I wil defer to someone who knows better than I :D
