  1. Ok I just got word, the server will be up in a hour. Unfortunately they are going to have to do a 24 hour roll back. Just kidding, I have no idea when the server will be up, no one tells me anything. Something is amiss, we have a hack in our midst, someone bind his wrist, untill we get to the gist, then we beat him with a Whisk, tisk tisk tisk. ;)         +1
  2. You want to do what To my Jenquai ?! There is so much wrong with what you suggest that I'll just point out the more ridiculous.   "Raids should be reduced in timer resets to 1 hour" By the end of this year everyone would have all the End game items currently in game. "Reduce Jenqui Critical strike change (Beam) by 10%" We already have a reduction in beam range damage, And you want to make the Race Weaker?. "Add a daily credit Decay rate of 1.5% of your total Credit value" In real life even under my bed my credits(cash) doesn't loose value, why in the hell would it decay? (Unless we use fruit and Body parts as monetary credits. "Experience for trading needs to be increased greatly.The game should be reworked in a way that its generating 300 per on level 1" By the end of This year everyone would of leveled a New Characters trade to L50.   I could go on and on.   Talar, I mean this in the best possible way, your playing the wrong game,. The changes you are suggesting is very different than what we have and Had in "EA Live". Good luck in your new game venture and forming a "clan"   The DEVs and The Community have did a lot of balancing with the characters and Races and it has been painful to all of us. They have the game in a VERY good condition of Balance, playability and difficulty ramping. Their changes to the game in the future will be small and cautious. The last thing we want to see again is one step forward and two steps back.   Your becoming a very popular guy/girl in game and on the forums, IMHO now all they have to add is a ignore feature to the forums.   WTF is a Terran Destroyer ? Oh BTW, Its Jenquai !  
  3.  "Bad Santa" ?   First lets think about Halloween. I mentioned on another topic about increasing the number of skill points gotten over level 150 to 3 per Ding, then if the DEVs or the Players want to transfer those Skill points to another char they can do so. But designate only ONE Char giving and ONE character receiving PER ACCOUNT !! This can NEVER be Changee or be altered !! So Choose wisely.     It would be nice to get a total of 9 skill points over the Holidays missions. With a "Baby New Year" mission You could have Kyp, Searing or Blacklung playing the Baby New Year, Dress them in a Diaper or Toga. :)

I have used PL and MLs on my JD In EA live and on all the Stress test, for a Brief time after doing a Call Forward.  For the Reason: Pls are Fun and The Range of Projectiles and Missile DO NOT suffer Range Damage Lose like my Beams do. In EA Live all the Graphic From EVERY PL that came out of my guns showed up on my monitor.   It is cool to see a Hail of bullets coming from my weapons, and seriously It does seem the Damage in our current EMU is lacking from All my Jenquai equip able PLs that I had in EA Live. And Before you ask I have nothing to back up my Claim, just memory.   I would say that a Single Unique Jenquai Projectile launcher that has the Very needed PL buffs, is needed.. PL Range, +Force, Enhancements, Improved PL Skill, and PL Energy Conservation. etc etc..Or any combination of. Add +Reactor Optimization or what ever Class buff you choose to add to it.   I said it before When my Group Terrans and Progens gets out of the Range of the Jenquai's Beams they inflict NO DAMAGE. Stay in group formation receive group Buffs and Heals and Inflict Damage at a Longer range AND Stay out of the NPC's Debuff range!   All it would take would be Projectile Line that can be ungraded or built from L1 to L8 with a New positive and/or Negative buff with every upgrade. Masaaki's Vengeance---->Masaaki's Retribution--->Masaaki's Revenge you get the idea....   OH a little off topic, 1 Skill point after L50 ? Seriously? Can we change that?  
  5. Ok, Terrell I'll toss an idea out there. I don't know if its possible but. Group Challenge or Raid style (15-20 Player) NPC Free-For-All, Kill as many Level 23 - 50 in a time base combat, AND Mine as Many asteroids as Possible adding the asteroid Levels mined and the NPC Levels killed. In a Very Large sector area, lets say 300k cube, In an area this size with the resources scattered, all of the classes could be utilized. What tactics would you apply to get the most points and what would your group/Raid group build be? There has got to be a Mining bonus ! And remember there's going to be NPC trying to Incapacitate your miners, The same as it happens in the current Game. There could be multiple competitions going on at the same time, If the server can handle it. In this PvP Kill stealing will be inevitable and part of the PvP challenge !! Entry into the PvP sector could be through a group leader challenge slash command. = /ChalG Phorlaug OR /ChalRaid Phorlaug The drops/resources will be no different from anything that drops in the game Now and usable outside of the sector. I'm just going to round out the numbers, they could be much higher. The Best totals wins. 10 x L23 NPC = 230 20 x L50 NPC = 1000 ---------------------------- 1230 Total Combat. 15 x L6 asteroids = 90 25 x L3 asteroids = 75 7 x L9 asteroids = 63 ------------------------------ 228 Mining + 500% Mining Bonus = 1368 ------------------------------ 1230 1368 -------- 2598 As long as PvP being introduced to the game does not overwhelm the channels with smack-talking adolescent member measuring I don't care if it is added or not... My biggest heartburn with PvP style games is the trash talking that goes with it.. the ego crap always turns me off... Make it so anyone involved in a PvP situation cannot use a public channel for 72 hours after they change back into a non-pvp condition? We got the Trash-smack-talking crap now. a.k.a. Raid rotations. People will find something to bitch about or a way to cheat or manipulate, its human nature.

  10. As much as I would hate to agree but the Martyr's is/was a bit powerful, that could be why its drop rate is very very low, IMO it should be but the SEC should have a better drop rate. Both could be dropped by other NPC in other sectors if it isn't already, with the low drop rate.   IIRC, The Martyr's has been toned down a bit in ST 3-4 ? The same as was the "Aegis of the Warder" when it had the 10,000+ Psionic shield increase attached to it, the actual buff may of not been the same as the description of 10,000+, but at times it did seem like it.   Back on topic. When would the JD use the Martyr's Heart or the SEC in their timing of its use?
  11. True true, I'll do just that Liucee. I wanted to get the basics down for skill point usage and skill use before I got into the individual item use. Not many new players would get a Martyr's there is another Shield recharging device that drops from the same Mob or one of them. I believe its the "Shield Energy Converter" and that can be traded, I gave it to one of my alts.
  12. Game play is very close to the original, with the exception of the 3 new classes 1 for each race. New items for all the races and classes are being created, it seems like almost every Patch.   I may be just a little bias when it comes to the Jenquai race. :blush: Just a little. But the Dev's and the Beta's have done an excellent job in engrossing the Jenquai player in the game. Most of, if not all the missions seem to move along almost flawlessly.   For me casual play is much better than the race to get all my toons to 150. I have been playing Progen  solo in disguises so I can find the race weaknesses, the reasoning is my own. Because the DEVs and the Betas are doing this on there free time, for nothing more than a pat on the back or the Butt in Evermore's case (j/k) for anyone to expect there are strides that are leaps and bounds from what EA had, would be foolish.   13. There is PvP in the game now you have to enter through either Ardus or Der Todesengel. Yes we miss you and need you, More players for PvP the better.

OR, the item has a counter attached to it, and when the count is expired the item permanently malfunctions.   Those aa devices Terrell if you come across another one, let me know I'll buy it.

  16. I did a CalI Forward and had all the PLs & JD PLs I could find in our current live, and every PL buff item I could find, those "aa" devices would of made a big difference. But without the Good effective PL buffs, they just didn't have the destruction I was hoping for.   The reason I bought this subject up is, its a little known fact ?   19. Lets say for the sake of discussion, the Seeker is the primary healer in the group. I don't know about some of you but it is hard for me not to take a couple of shots at the NPC when in a group.   The shoot-Cloak-Heal tactic drains the reactor very fast when using beams.   The beams decreased damage at longer ranges, makes Non-cloak secondary weapons, IMO a better choice. Doing the math.   There have been a lot of times that being in a group with a ranged-player using PLs or MLs that My beams did not have the range, and I could not fire. The Longer the NPC stays alive the better chance they have to win the fight or Call friends, everyone should be shooting, you know this.   Do the math on some of the PLs a Jenquai can use, out of cloak they can do better DPS than some of the beams, At a constant firing rate.   IMO, there is a place, time and tactic for a healing Jenquai to use secondary range weapons.   There have been time flying my JD in a group that I would be out of range as much as 50% of the fight and at decreased damage range 70% of the time. So out of frustration I would break group and do the Follow-Cloak-Shoot. A JS would feel the same way.  
  20. I want to know what your thoughts are on The Jenquai Seeker having Missiles as their secondary weapon? Because I can't think of a negative reason I'll give a couple of positive reasons.   My thought is that all healers should have a good range weapon to keep him/her out of harms way. Missiles would be a way to help combat incapacities due to Heal aggression?    The Seeker with Missiles would add a little more balance to the classes. Give the TS Projectiles, although I don't think a Terran would use PLs for their Max range weapon.   To bad there just isn't any good mid/High level MLs for the Jenquai.   Thoughts? :blush:
  21. I agree with the skill reactor optimization Scaling, it could be a little better. Trust me I have a few items that are ready for the Reactor Optimization buff to be implemented on a hard drive. (10 items to be exact)   As far as similar buffs on different items, the combination of different items that a JS would want to install gives a much better variety of installs now and in the future, especially when the (New) JS reactor is implemented that has the "Improved Reactor Optimization" Buff on it.   Sharim Hokori RE I, weather Kenu decides to push it through or if he still has it, that's up to him, the DEVs and Coders. :)   There are a lot of items in game that have the same "redundancy", You wouldn't equip something with the same buffs would you? Of coarse not.  I wouldn't change anything that is new in game now, be patient and wait for the new items to complement them.
