A simple poll about Ten-Gu!

Greetings,

We had a small friendly debt tonight on Team Speak and one of the higher up Dev's subjested I post this poll question to all of you so here I am. There seems to be a difference of opion about how the "Normal" Ten-Gu and other high lvl mobs were back in Live and if it is true that the powers to be want this to be as close to Live as possible then this is something that should be addressed. I have my own idea on how it was back in Live, but as the poster and since many of you know who I am I will refrane from stating my opion until after the polling is done. Of course if you ever visited TS then you probilly already know my view on this subject! :-)

Anyway, the question is simple and remember this is a friendly debt so please no flaming and remember everyone has a right to post what they remember and their opion without being be-littled for doing so.

I hope you didn't bet on the wrong side of this! I have attached some screen shots. The Ten-Gu Slayer is lvl 53.

Desash the Plague is lvl 56.

Ten-Gu Plague is lvl 55.

Ten-Gu Blight is lvl 51.

If you read the chat channel in these screen shots, I think you will find that the Ten-Gu at all lvls had skills that they used on players.

In fact I have screen shots to show that mobs at all lvls had skills they could use against players.

What i remember from live...

All Ten-gu had Grav Link

Almost all had Rally

Only boss minions and bosses had menace

ALL ten-gu were immune to impact.

If you made all ten-gu immune to impact, these current versions of ten-gu would be very close to live.

I added the Player picked up 2 Blah Blah just to indicate the sheer amount of weapons and loot inside the Boss, (Multiple Weapons i remember onece seeing at least 5 Furys etc)As they had to reward for the efforts of 6 - 8 groups during live.

I added the Player picked up Blah Blah just to indicate the amount of weapons and loot inside the Boss, but i seem remember they being weapon stacks on the bile weapons. Maybe beacause of the sheer amount of loot in them? i.e too many windows?m not sure if there is a limit, As they had to reward for the efforts of 6 - 8 groups during live.

The part I underlined is one of the reasons I liked doing fishbowls as a JSer with my JE, or a summoner with my JW in Live. One was almost certain to get at least some loot for your efforts.

Since you're progen NOS could be 'useless' sometimes due to % speed increase not sure how numbers go first.

Edit: If you use that device. Just noticed a 'higher' speed as a progen.

Also the gravity link is OP. Disables everything(speed/warp) for like 2 minutes. So even after mob dies. You are stuck there for a bit and can't loot/do anything. By then a mob spawns and re-applies debuff.

In live, ten-gu all had area grav-link. I remember this because if even one person in your group didnt reist the grav link, the whole group could not warp untill that person died, or the effect wore off, or they break form sacrificing themselfs so the rest of the group could get away

ahhhh the memories of those logs....

all tengus like which is already said had grav link which slowed u down by around 35% and debuffed u for impact since tengus used impact on u(at least most did FB bosses excluded)then u had those bosses terrus beltash zenash and desash they had an extra skill aswell which caused the engine failure skill in ur buff box which made u not able to warp slowed u down even more at like 60% of ur normal thrust speed...from the grav link u could escape if u used a 4k base warpspeed engine which u couldnt with engine failure both were easily undone tho with a simple thing either u had an eagle wing or supernova 8 or 9 and used the increase thrust boost which allowed u to at a max of 1k forwards and 500 backwards.now the problem here is the grav link in cooper from the tengus reduces ur speed from 700+ to 6-40 speed which is insane and then for some reason my grav link doesnt seem to have any effect on lvl50+ mobs considering their speed it debuffs but thats all.
