at minimum .NET 2.0 and Visual C++ Redistributable (x86) packages are required to use our stuff but as CDel said .NET 4 should work as a standalone for the .NET requirements.

Please obtain a screenshot of the launcher before you click the "Play" button, and post it for us, something tells me at the top next to the Browse button you have: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Earth & Beyond\e&b.exe when instead it should be pointed at: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Earth & Beyond\release\client.exe

Did you follow the steps in CDels Start up guide or the FAQ on http://net-7.org to the letter? It sounds like you're trying to use the castanet patcher (e&b.exe) in the game's main directory, instead of our launcher.

Have you already made a ticket for yourself? http://support.net-7.org This is a good first place to start, explain the problem and our GM staff can rectify it as soon as we get their tools fully functional again. They can verify the amount you made for the item, deduct those credits and replace it.

The official authorized answer: We had drive trouble on the dev box, and the DNS was set to be backed up by play. Unfortunately since all of the files for the website were on the dev box, it was unable to point back at them and the site went down. Either way we'll look for solutions for that going forward and everything should be restored shortly. Nothing hurt us, or attacked us, or wronged us (i've heard all the rumors already). We just had a hardware failure and were being careful to make a fresh back up before we restored anything to be doubly sure. We apologize for the downtime. Have fun out there.

Ammo rarely fails to analyze (or should if memory serves) and no obscure components that I recall during creation but could be wrong. The DB didn't list it because it was new and hidden. It is not sold by any vendor as of yet, though I might change that in time depending on how rare or common the ammo seems to be.

"Tag" is exactly as indicated, it was the "notes" section seen on modern mmos (*cough*wow*cough*). Allowed a guildmaster or officers to make notes about members and the like.

We have people going through the entire mob list as of now. I haven't checked it in a few days but you never know when they'll get to the particular mobs that you think have no loot. Then again they may have loot and just a lower drop percentage. GoBB anyway drops some higher end items, items that weren't meant to flood the server so that's why the original designer set h is drops so rare.

If they can I'm not aware of how, I know just basic guild functionality was added, the ability for an MOTD. I am not sure on the implementation its been so long, I thought I remembered being able to do it through the guild window too, but who knows. A /slash command version would be fine until/unless we find there is a way to do it through the guild window/friend list.
