I'm getting "Server failed to respond to sector login" upon trying to enter with any of my characters.  Launcher is showing 250 logged in.

What is/are Var's missions to finish this line/chain of mission?

So give the JSeeker a slow hull heal over time available at 135.   Total up the amount of the 9 ships hull points then divide by the 9 classes. Have the ability heal 1/4 to 1/2 of that amount over it's duration.     The idea is that it winds up being a slower heal than if you had TT or TS to just spam area hull repair.   It would give the JS a singular support ability that could be useful solo or in a raid.

Way back in olden ancient times, and before the forums were rebuilt, I had uploaded this Excel file for the perusal of all interested.  I do so again.   TheList may have little to do with the current Live Emu, but it can give folks ideas.   :)

I'm really offended by the indescriminate derogatory name calling towards miners as a whole. It's totally uncalled for. Especially from some players that have absolutely no problem whatsoever cherry picking only the job terminal missions that they want. Or from some player that has absolutely no problem whatsoever cherry picking only a named mob and ignoring everything else around it. If you want to fix the cherry picking problem then shut the emu down, because the entirety of the game play found is based on cherry picking the parts of the content that you want to enjoy.

[/quote] Normally, the launcher and the game client are "run as administrator" and will only allow 1 instance of the game to run under that Windows Administrator account. If you have another Windows account on your computer that is a member of the local administrators group then you can SHFT + Rt Click on the Net7 launcher, select "run as a different user" and then enter the username and password of your other account that is an "administrator" on your computer. You can then have two different instances of the game with two different game accounts running on one computer. And theoretically yes, this process can be used as many times as you have different administrator credentials to supply it but I wouldn't recommend doing it unless you have a very high end computer with a fast internet connection. I get around this issue by running my main desktop gaming rig and 2 laptops.

To backup the installation issue the OP had, I recently installed the game client and launcher on a new machine. When the demo (downloaded from the emu files) starts to install it pops open a webpage to FilePlanet to obtain a certificate or code to proceed with unpackaging/unzipping/installation process. Of course the process can't find the webpage and causes the installation process to hang/abort. I got around this by simply closing the browser. Maybe someone could repackage the demo after removing the FilePlanet links?

Lots of good info in those forums with some of the links still good or at least the link destination was archived as well. We, as in those of us with time to donate, should peruse those forums to see what we can dig up, screen cap or grab.

Curiousity landed near an area with exposed geological strata. Strata that just might reveal more of Mars past than any of the other craft we have sent there have been able to explore or discover. We, the entirety of the human race, need to multi-task on all of the different issues effecting the entire race. One of the issues is exploring our nearest neighbors in space to learn more about the neighborhood while developing technology and techniques to help our progress towards to the stars. This little ball of water with all of it's islands is getting awful dang crowded.

I'll have to go the ticket route as the 2nd game account is attached to this forum account and doesn't have a forum acct on it's own. I was able to link my 2nd forum account to this primary forum acct without any issues.

I have this primary forum acct/primary game acct which I have linked a 2nd forum acct/3rd game acct to. Now I just need to find out how to link my 2nd game account to my primary forum acct. Any suggestions on where I might find the info as I would very much like to link the game account so I can shuffle characters around?

Well, if it was my fault, I apologize profusely. Perhaps my multiple failed attempts had something to do with the crash? As of this writing, I am able to login with all 3 computers without any issues whatsoever. Thank you, Team, for the outstanding work that you all do so that we all may enjoy this game!

How long before I can connect to the server again from my cable modems IP and NOT receive the "Connection to the Global Server failed" dialogue box? I just spent a couple of hours fighting with a new installation on a Win7 laptop. While I was installing on the Win7 laptop, I had my main PC and an XP laptop up and running the game correctly without any connection issues. I gave up fighting with the Win7 laptop (thank you Active Directory Group Policy) and was going back to run the game on my main PC when the "Connection to the Global Server failed" message popped up while attempting to login to the game. I tried my 1st laptop and got the same message on login. Rebooted the cable modem and router. Verified NAT and UPnP on the router. I've tried almost all of trouble-shooting steps on my main PC short of completely reinstalling the game. I continue to get the same error. I haven't touched the installation settings on the 1st laptop yet continue to get the "Connection to the Global Server failed" error on login. And now the Launcher on the 1st laptop is returning "server failed to respond" then quitting. So how long do I need to wait until my cable routers' IP is allowed to connect to the sunrise server?

Just wanted to share an FYI with the EnB community today: This morning I attempted to launch the game but the launcher would not connect. I'm in Austin, TX on Time-Warner. Being the techie / admin type that I am, I started with Ping and Tracert. Both failed to reach the play server. I tried to reach the forums to see if anything else was going on and couldn't reach the forums by name or IP either. I did not copy the address where the TRACERT stopped but should have. I know, bad techie. I'll try again from home later today and if the problem still exists then I'll try to reply to this posting with the info. p.s. Yes, I am at work now and can reach the forums just fine because work is using a different ISP.

I recently looted a Real Matter Sample while down in 61 Cygni. I will not be able to remove the item from my cargo until an NPC takes it for a mission. There are no clues or hints as to which NPC or faction would be interested in this non-destructible item. I've talked with every NPC that would respond down in the 61 area and no hints or clues ever popped up. Checked on Somerled - nothing. OMP - nothing. F7 - nothing. Net7 - nothing. I'm slowly expanding the stations that I visit to find an NPC willing to take this thing OUT of my cargo. Any hints as to and NPC or even a station? Heck, I'll even settle for a sector or zone to focus my search on! Otherwise this item is going to be in my cargo until I search the entire EnB galaxy or forever comes first!

The attached Excel 97-2003 file lists quite a lot of information on just about everything found in live. Devices, weaps, engines, reactors, ore, etc. I can't tell you who all contributed to building the list as I really don't know. But here it is for consumption. Mount the item and dock which will repair it like docking normally does to battle damage. I have yet to see any "repair fees" associated with repairing "hulk" items this way. Anything I couldn't use immediately on the miner or an alt, I would toss into the vault for later or even vendor.

Aye, I would think Hack would go so much better with a beam build than it does with a missile build. I won't be using Hack or even leveling it on my TS.

My TS bank account is QUITE happy with the work Mr Merlin has done. It's allowed the TS to share some funds with my JS and PP.
