Want to check on the requirements for Build Reactor for PP. My char JarodPT is Level 32 and the skill description for Build Reactor indicates a level 30 requirement - yet the designated NPC won't engage in a talk tree with me. Double-checking if the lvl 30 is accurate or a text bug or if there are other pre-req's I need to satisfy first such as Shield and/or Component build. I've talked to each of the respective NPC's for those skills and have those missions but haven't yet completed them (kind of saving skill pts at the moment as the only thing I really want to build with this char is Reactors). I have open mission slots as other than the 2 build missions I have the master Progen mission - so 3 open slots. I have obtained every skill that's unlocked at lvl 30 or below. Thanks.

I don't follow the logic of how doing this makes what you state in the second paragraph happening - nor do I recall any plea from the EnB Team for this. It *is* a stress test and the goal is to create load and find what needs to be tuned/tweaked to accomodate the load.

Experience for all manufacturing especially for ammo

Simply not true. If you wish I can logon my JE while you are on, group you, and mine low level ore and you will see there's no XP. I'm OK with the low level builds not giving XP - I've just always found it strange that the level of XP granted for even higher level builds is rather low and that there's also no XP when the items are subsequently traded. -
What are the specs of the server and the internet connection?

It's what happens when you get old . . . but it beats the alternative! Thanks Cdel.

Hmmm . . . I see what you are saying. I'm not seeing any of my chars coming up either. FYI - for whenever this gets fixed (most likely about 2 minutes after Slayer sees this thread) unless you are changing the actual .sig format (background or large/small format) there's no need to cut and paste each time if you are just refreshing it to reflect upgraded XP levels. Doing the refresh on the portal side is all you have to do - the .sig will reflect that once you've refreshed the portal.

I could have sworn I'd seen this somewhere on the forums but I'll be danged if I've been able to find it. I'm looking for a list of which stations are giving out which level jobs. Example - F7 has Lvl 135 Jobs, VT has Lvl 75 Jobs, etc. If this is somewhere and my search-fu let me down (again) then just point me there please. Thanks!

Say WHAT????

Just to provide a data point - when my mission jumped in this manner I didn't get tokens. Just FYI.

OK, I've got all the YYYY's and ZZZZ's - guess I'll check back at Lvl 100.
-
OK, a "Friendly GM" has given me the Tokens - which NPC's should I be talking to now? I'm Lvl 80 and at step 8 of 14 of "A Warrior's Promotion". Or will none of this kick in until I hit Lvl 100?

I'm very sorry to hear of what's happening to you as I've had relatives with Parkinson's and am myself genetically predisposed to it . . . but I just want to add a data point that I haven't observed the behavior you are describing. That's not to say it isn't happening for you but only to raise the possibility that maybe there are other factors at work. All the best.

The problem I was experiencing is that each time I spoke to Brook my mission jumped and then the session totally locked up and I had to logout to reset. When I would come back Brook wouldn't have any meaningful talk with me - so no missions . . . like the "The Missing Transport Mission". After *another* ticket and (again, really great) GM response I was finally able to get the Missing Transport Mission from Brook and proceed. There's something hinky going on there, though. The first time the mission jumped ahead I was like lvl 6. That's definitely borked. After that it seemed like it was just trying to find the right spot in the timeline that would allow me to get the required mission. I've completed the Missing Transport and successfully engaged with both Brook and Kerr and am on my way to Tiberius . . . and the, ugh, Ionna-J. So it's all worked out now but there's still some glitches to be encountered.

Well my new PT is at lvl 18 now and still can't do lvl 10 HU. Initially while talking to Brook while I was lvl 6 or 7 the mission suddenly updated to step 2 and was telling me where I would go for my Lvl 30 upgrade (good ol' Ionna on Endriago). I opened a ticket and was reset back to step 1. I then got past lvl 10 and spoke to Brook again - same thing, jumped the mission to step 2 - and locked up the game again so that I had to exit to char selection - but I still have a n00b hull (unless hull strength 15 is what one gets after Lvl 10 HU - and two weps and one device slot). Been to Mars and talked to every NPC there - no dice. Back to Ars Bursa, nope. Even headed all the way out to the shipyards on a lark but, as expected, nothing. So it's nice you saying one can still do their hull upgrades and all but it's not how it's playing out here.

All fixed, thanks much!

My TE "JarodTE" seems to be in the same situation. He's a Captain and has the appropriate ship level (one weps slot and one device slot that are yet to become active) and is over lvl 90 but has the Report to MacKellan for Lvl 75 upgrade as the current HU mission lvl. Of course she won't talk to me past the go-away-and-glares-at-me portion of the talk tree.

Some mission rewards need to be substantlaly increased

Not to mention that it's 6K explore XP - which that Fenris/Somer run isn't going to pay unless you've already maxed out Trade. -
Is there a way to know if server is up?
garblesoup replied to Miyamoto's topic in Game Master Public Support
Of course there's always the status icon in the upper right corner of the portal . . . -
I definitely notice a difference (for the worse) if packet optimization is not enabled. In addition to that, though, I will also click the "none" (or whatever it is, I'm not in-game right now) to null out the list and then click the level(s) I'm looking to build for that session. Perhaps it's more psychological than it is real but it seems like limiting my list in this way causes it to load faster.

Alt-Tab to the dbase and list the vendors that sell the comp you want. Voila, the name of the vendor at the station is revealed. Over time you don't need the crutch as you know them all by heart.

Best way to tick off an Englishman? Introduce him to everyone you know as an Aussie. Do that to a friend from work at our after-hours bar all the time, it just never gets old.
-
Sounds like I'll just have to park him - again - for a while.

Ummm . . . I'm really lost now. I'm not really sure what all this means as I don't know who does what . . . I just know that as a *player* I appear to be stuck. What are the "old fashioned trade means" that would allow me to obtain a token? I've gone back to playing my other chartypes for now, it's just so much more straightforward to know what they have to do and get it done.

Oremining for my Pw ammo: big big problems :|
garblesoup replied to Noin's topic in Mining and Refining
How about contacting one of the Guild leaders and asking him/her if they could ask their miners to stop cherry-picking? That's pretty rude behavior and I would like to think that any respectable Guild would not intentionally cherry-pick fields like that.
