1. All stage II Agrippa Technology requires you to have maximum level in the require build skill. Build components 7 or Build devices 7 or Build reactors 7 or Build shields 7 or Build weapons 7 And 2000 Collegia Faction (at the start).
2. It almost makes you hunger for Terminal Overrides and Controllers doesn't it? By making it slightly more (ok more) difficult to create a high Quality build % for Agrippa Technology, it should stoke the furnace in the market when the emulator goes beyond testing.
3. hehe poor pleasure cruisers...
4.
Some rewards are trivial, they are steps to some that are nice. And yes, you can screw up if you allow yourself to lvl over the limit (you can't go back once you do) and yes they are difficult and since they are tiered, if you don't do the L75 one then you are shut out at L100 and L135.
Mattsacre: One minor point here, although you are correct about the level range (looking at the hull level you have), Hull @ 50 - Hull @ 75 - Hull @ 100 - If you didn't select the Token Mission for a mission of the hull at level 50, you are not excluded from missions @ 75 or @ 100. They no longer are Tiered by level requirements, they are tiered by Skill level. Exclusion occurs by: 0. Not being a Progen 1. Not having the required mission Token (grey one) in your ship cargo when going to get the mission 2. Not being the right Progen Class for the mission 3. Not having the right skill for the mission at the right skill level. Skill ranges: Typical skill ranges for @ 50: Level 3 in a skill @ 75: Level 4 in a skill (5 if equipment other than Engines) @ 100: Level 5 in a skill (6 if Projectile or Shields) For further information please speak to the Arx Magister NPCs who can be conversed by any race or class and are for information purposes only. Centuriata Nota (For the Progen Warriors) Collegia Nota (For the Progen Privateers) Sabine Nota (For the Progen Sentinels) These have a full talk tree and give an indication of the required level of the skill and where to go to grab the mission. ---- Additional: Do not expect all your skills to be applicable at all hull ranges, this content is intended to be optional and provide a mirror to your own development. You will not be able to obtain a token mission once you have advanced your hull beyond the specified hull level. Bonus content will require you to have completed the parent Token mission. This bonus content will be what you are locked out at a higher stage. The Tokens are intended to be 'seeds' through which content for higher level material can develop. Bonus content will be much of the same as the original Token skill, it may be repeatable content so will not reward as much experience as a non-repeatable bonus mission. Bonus content will require the same Skill at a higher level.
5. If you see any that state "point at developer sector" just forfit it. Once you forfit it, you access level in game should prevent you viewing it again. Not all of the Token lines have a full bonus compliment for them, Agrippa Technology (Build lines) do. Its' a lot more difficult to create engaging content for bonuses for 'JumpStart' 'Shield Recharge' 'Enrage' missions relying on the skills specified. The Token mission(s) are available for all skills currently listed, and even if they are skelateral (ie contain no interesting content, simply speaking to one or more people), you will gain the same experience as if they were fully completed. These, of course currently contain no bonus content, or the bonus content may be in infancy (like the mission you seem to have above). Skeleteral Missions have the letters SK after the [Version] of the mission. If the version is [Version 0.0.-] then it is currently a place holder. Build skills are the easiest to cater for and have quite a lot of bonus content for them. Prospect also shows bonus content.
6. Faction? Others have got past this step, so it works. Expecting a further decrease in the forum +/- voting but the missions remain unchanged. I do know for the test mission of the weapon you need to be able to equip projectiles of that level. This has already been explained in the talk trees of Architecti Inquiro and the missions for Architecti Telum As to final quality at level 9, 200% is not the norm.
7. You need a token, the prospect skill, and the information provided from Sabine Nota about where these missions are.
8.
so how many shield prints does it take to build 200% Skirmish Omega ? or any agrippa L9 stuff for that matter ? 160% is all my char(s) can get.
You may have to wait for terminal controllers etc to be implemented to get higher. Or become more versed in builds. Agrippa Technology is meant to be cutting edge and new. This also means it is more difficult to build, and the examinations are set at a higher difficulty to dismantle. They only want the best.
9. Peorth The tokens can be traded by a special mission conversion given by the nota of the Progen class trading it and then you will have to present it to your nota to convert it. The basic conversion = Person Converting: 3 x mission tokens (grey colour )= 1 x trade token (gold colour) Requirement: Final Hull Upgrade (ie, cannot use these tokens for mission content) Progen Level 135 Person Receiving: 1 x trade token = 1 x mission token Requirement: Progen Level 40 So there will be a overall loss of 2/3 tokens. Otherwise all Progen can convert a mission token at level 150 for 30,000 credits. Kind of a waste really as all token missions tend to give equivalent rewards or more than that, at an earlier time. The Gold Coloured Token was implemented as a means to bring a market commodity with mission tokens; those that don't want to do the missions can trade in their 6 to create 2 and then trade to players - as long as they have reached level 135. Also on reaching level 135 all Progen receive 1 Gold Tradable token anyway. The ideal use for this Gold Tradable Token if you are doing missions is not then to complete the final hull upgrade but go and convert this token and get +1 mission token. For those that are not doing missions its an extra tradable token that can go either way, (sell) to another Progen or convert to mission token to convert to credits at level 150. Normal mission tokens are non-tradable.
10. Some new Agrippa Technology buffs may not have correct code on them. This is known and code for them will be written / updated after all the buffs from live have been resolved. You still get the item, it may not have all effects turned on!
11. Agrippa Technology rewards those who intend to build. - my cryptic response -
12. Think its about time Detention Centre Onorom had 'time out' cells: - mini starbase - no exit possible (no hangar bay ) - no use of any chat channels - 1 NPC to talk to who returns the reason why you are there - character remains there until time limit expires - new characters made on same account also start there until time limit expires - GMs have instant tools to "send to detention" ============= Good job i wasn't on the server at the time of the complaint. I don't have GM tools so my intervention could be ... final ...
13. Level 2 in a suitable build type should suffice. However, Tienbau has been rather helpful with mission coding so the mission requirements will be made more robust soon, and hopefully missions you do not need to see (again) will be blocked from your view in a few months. It also will allow more complex mission structures <Code required> <Testing required> With the Stage I reactor mission, yes you should still be able to complete it. Only the starting Token mission requires a specified level of hull, the rest are there for when you have time on your hands. (CrEePs uP tO Darkk aNd wIsPeRs "Are you ready to come out of that padded room and check some missions if I amend them?") (HoW StRaNgE. He sCrEaMeD aNd RaN aWaY. I mAy HaVe To ObTaIn AnOtHeR [s]vIcTiM [/s] vOlUnTeEr FrOm ThE bEtA tEaM tO tEsT cOnTeNt!) No new content for missions for a bit but when Tienbau can implement the NOT and OR coding for completed missions then a lot of the missions that may have been superceeded by other ones, but still get displayed will be able to be removed from your view. For example in the above list: If someone has completed stage 1 for Build Reactors then: Build Reactor Examination - If you have completed Stage I (Repeat) - Currently requires completed mission reactor stage I end - Will change to: Completed mission reactor Stage I end AND NOT completed mission Stage II reactor examination Build Reactor Examination - If you give a Symbol of Loyalty (Repeat - new SOL) - Currently requires no mission - Will change to: NOT completed mission reactor stage I end AND NOT completed mission Stage II reactor examination Build Reactor Examination - If you give an Invite Stage II - Reactors(Repeat - new Invite) - Currently requires no mission - Will change to: NOT completed mission reactor stage I end AND NOT completed mission Stage II reactor examination By doing this a ) players who complete Stage I in a line only see the reduced cost repeated Stage II means to obtain examinations b ) players who complete the examination mission do not see again any of the missions providing the examination item for that item Note AND There will be a means to do OR and this is intended for content after release where you could have for example two very different mission lines unlocking a mission thread. Simple example could be: Jenquai class mission completed OR Terran class mission completed <Unlocks: Mission to attack Mars!> ** Bring it on **
14. Buyback + Quality damage on the item (this would teach you a lesson). The exploit here could be "Oh no I accidentally sold the Brimstone Ballista that (insert name here) built me. Hang on I'll buy it back. Ooo look, it now can be analyzed by anyone". Hope this would be prevented some way.
15. The means to get the level 4 device is from two routes, but it is dependent on the Sentinel making you the item that you then have to try it. Your route to get the device is an interesting route and is not the intended route (which can be done, earlier) There may be a minor change that does not affect older routes in the mission structure, but until operands can be implemented and more importantly the NOT operand, to strike out mission structures that are not required by a person who has done Stage I or has done the examination for Stage II, then the list from Inquiro remains. Suggest you contact a Sentinel who has done their Devices Stage I and ask them "do they have low level shield they can build you with the device in it other than the level 5 shield created at the end of Stage I" If "No, because I don't do shields", then they may not be the Sentinel for you... Iquiro current lists for Stage II: Build Components Examination - If you have completed Stage I (Repeat) Build Components Examination - If you give a Symbol of Loyanty (Repeat - new SOL) Build Components Examination - If you pay 2.5 million credits (Single use) Build Devices Examination - If you have completed Stage I (Repeat) Build Devices Examination - If you give a Symbol of Loyalty (Repeat - new SOL) Build Devices Examination - If you give an Invite Stage II - Devices(Repeat - new Invite) Build Reactor Examination - If you have completed Stage I (Repeat) Build Reactor Examination - If you give a Symbol of Loyalty (Repeat - new SOL) Build Reactor Examination - If you give an Invite Stage II - Reactors(Repeat - new Invite) Build Shield Examination - If you have completed Stage I (Repeat) Build Shield Examination - If you give a Symbol of Loyalty (Repeat - new SOL) Build Shield Examination - If you give an Invite Stage II - Shields (Repeat - new Invite) Build Weapon Examination - If you have completed Stage I (Repeat) Build Weapon Examination - If you give a Symbol of Loyalty (Repeat - new SOL) Build Weapon Examination - If you give an Invite Stage II - Weapons(Repeat - new Invite) Without the ! (NOT) command for mission aquision, and because a NPC will only display a maximum of 5 missions, then Privateers who have gone through Stage I on any line are advised to avoid putting any Invite or Symbol of Loyalty in their cargo when speaking to Architecti Inquiro Consider: Privateer who has completed Stage I (Reactors/Components/Weapons) Inquiro Lists: - Components (Stage I completed) - Components (If more than 2,500,000 credits) - Reactors (Stage I completed) - Weapons (Stage I completed) Now, the same person who leaves a Symbol of loyalty in their cargo.. - Components (Stage I completed) - Components (Symbol of Loyalty) - Components (If more than 2,500,000 credits) - Reactors (Stage I completed) - Reactors (Symbol of Loyalty) EOF So they'd not be able to view the Weapons. Currently, there is a list of potentially 15 missions on the examination NPC, and only 5 will display (the first five relevant) for Stage II. What I'd like to be able to do for these missions is to put in NOT statements to state "While xxx mission NOT completed give THIS mission" - which would look at the mission that validated the examination. This would mean that the NPC would not give out any examinations once you had been successful at the examination. Stands to reason to me. This code is not avalilable to me at this time. - of course the above code would also be combined with other requirements, not least Faction = Collegia (2000) and Build [Item] (5).
16. This has fixed wierd buff effect values seen on some of the Stage I, II and III Agrippa Items also.
17. The missions specifies 10 units to give over, this then must be a coding bug. I'll point it Tb's way.
18. They get a Once Only chance of doing the Comp examination. It costs them 2.5 million credits to buy. Fail, and do not continue. Terrans and Jenquai component builders get no second chances. This is primarily collegia research and they distrust Infiniticorp and Jenquai so only a small amount will be filtered into this research.
19. click away from it click back to it. see if a message appears.
20. Yes Stage I was far more inter convoluted than stage II or III. The device is possible but only Sentinels can make it and they need to somehow get it to you. Something in your mission text would have given you a clue. My aim in future when Captain's Log is up an running to put cryptic clues into that one that you can work from. This is research, there is no roadmap There also should be a sense of achievement after these mission(s) and some nice item(s) that will be needed as sample(s) for Stage II and potentially Stage III. If you use an online Latin - English translator you should get the meaning of most of these NPCs and Items. It is latinised for a reason, most of the NPCs appear from ancient Rome (in the live game) and this has continued into the collegia. Why, for example, you have a NPC now called Vespasian in Moto. Vigoare is a Centuriata who has been assigned to keep the Collegia researchers on track and on budget, She also teaches Privateers some of their combat based skills.
21. Stage II now definately requires Collegia Faction. No, the follow on missions are not tied to overall level, they are tied to skill level and Stage II / III to faction. However, stage I is very interlinked with each class so you may need to gain an item that someone else has made. No one class can complete stage I on their own.
22. Progen Privateers are based out of Arx Emporos and Nostrand Vor City
23. Ok I'm going to change this mission for the test line, but this may have some local effect to players currently killing the mobs. THere will be a rolling stage requirement to kill the creatures, this being: 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9. 25 in total.
24. On Developer Server Updated Privateer: From Version 8.5.P Guide to a Privateers Promotion [Version 8.6.P] Changed from 'Vinda' to 'Agrippa' Updated: From Version 1.0 Progen Hull Upgrade Level 100 [Warrior Version 1.1] + [Sentinel Version 1.1] + [Privateer Version 1.1] Change to display 'Aragoth Prime'
