firewall in learning mode? could you be using zone alarm by any chance? some firewalls can interfere with some games and apps which is why i stopped using zone alarm to begin with.

Will give it a shot on my G1 for ya.. EDIT: I mean i am willing to test it out on my G1 for ya, im not really worried if something screws up on my phone because I do daily backups of all data on my phone anyway with an app called mybackup pro.

My desktop was getting the same issue yesterday but after rebooting it started working.

As long as their notifications are set they will recieve your PM in their email too.

What version of windows are you using? xp? vista? windows 7? If vista or higher are you running the launcher as an administrator by right clicking the shortcut and choosing that option? Are you drivers and stuff up to date like video and directx, i've had a slightly outdated directx cause issues with some stuff for me before.

My best guess is that you need a certain number of posts before you are allowed to do that, just like with needing a certain number of posts before a poll can be made.

Sounds like my situation sort of, been outta work since the middle of july, i've gained about 30 lbs since then and I have applied to numerous places around my area.

It's been down for a couple of hours or so thus far, it will be back eventually as long as people can be patient.

This would be the 2nd crash I know of since the content update was put in place yesterday.

Just updated and the game started but it crashed seconds after loading in to the game, it could of been because the comp hasnt been rebooted in almost 5 days, doing that now and i will try again.

I'll have to test this out on my old dell (only pc with xp) then to see if I get it on there, I don't use it but my step dad does for his email and other junk. I already have the game installed on there but its not been updated yet, i will go update and see what I get, I will edit this post with the results.

That is exactly what i did after I couldnt take it anymore. I have however not been in the game lately partly due to that and the annoying faction grind.

Just curious but are you using the packet optimization and prototype reordering? Either of those might be causing that issue.

I love the idea with the RD faction, maybe some special mission that would reward some amount or a series of missions that would award some amount and the NPC that would give them would be some kind of santa.

I was getting the same crap from some inviduals, its freaking annoying when I am trying to ask for help and all I get told to do is to be quiet and when someone tells me that it drives me nuts. I've just been refraining from asking for help anymore and lately I have not even been playing and thats one of the reasons. BTW I know theres a command to dump the chat into a log but its been so long I do not even remember it, if someone remembers the command I would be ever so greatful.

I just hope there won't be a player wipe at all (ever) but if there is we all will just have to deal with it and work to get everything all back again.
