Wondering if someone can help with my Linux Install.   I can run Enb Client, and it loads. But can't get Net7 to run.  I've followed the guide here, but when loading Net7 I get an error.   "Error on Reading Configuration"    That's all I get.  Running latest Kubuntu and latest Wine.

Ever find your self traveling the same area over and over? How about a personal nav beacon that a player could put out to speed up a route. You could make it purchasable to last a certain time or a "rental" style.

Yes and No..... Nothing current. Isometric used to have a map of mobs and ores. Was kinda accurate. His site is now closed but I was able to retain this source of the enb maps. Wondering how much work it would be to start updating. it.

Havent run Seti since they switched to Bionic. Didn't like that change in software so I dropped it. Might consider downloading Bionic if it's changed since seti started using it.

I have seen this as well. In the past I have said something but got the typical response or head butting. It doesn't bother me much, unless a new player is trying to get help, or they get confused and start asking more questions and then they get ripped on for it.. That's where the line should be drawn. Simply turning off the channel to not see it isn't the solution. That will just make it get bigger. Perhaps the simple solution like mentioned a couple of time is the route to "Chat Police" I can see the problem of users making screens and pm'ing them to the admins but this can get to be another issue in itself. How about a few users, based around the clock when they "normally" online tend to the chat channels. For example, I'm usually around from 7-10 pm CST. There are users on earlier and later. You would only need a few people. Just as long as there "police power" doesn't go their heads. Think of it as moderators on a forum. But the real question would be.. Is it needed now? Or is it better to cut it when it starts? Just my humble opinion.

Spent the evening on how I would like it. Here's my idea. During your probation period (where you receive not xp dept) you wouldn't get charged. Each promotion level would put you in a different hull damage tier. Meaning for each point of hull damage would cost you more to fix. Now, each base would have a base charge for fixing damage to the ship. This base figure would increase or decrease depending on your faction level of the base you are visiting. Users would also be able to select if they want to get their ship fixed when docking or wait till they find a better deal. You could also apply so many credits toward your hull fix. Perhaps enough to get you buy to get more credits. If a user had been destroyed then they wouldn't have a choice, you would still get towed to the last place you registered at. Here is where they would get into negative credits if they didn't have enough. Visiting your home base would be your best deal on fixing your ship as well. Optional: Allow users to make a "Temporary Home" which would allow you to receive a discount on your damage repair. But this would only apply if you have a good standing faction with that base.

Just a small suggestion I was thinking about it for a little while. When you hull takes damage you can take you ship to any base to get fixed. Easy as that.. But.... What about charging to fix your hull, Different bases would charge different rates. Could be based on your alliance for faction as for cost. Thoughts?

Through a lot of searching I got a little wind of it from Builders Inc site. But only to see it was for members only. Pulled the chat logs from the game and found a few words in it as it was crashing. Found the IP of the site and changed the host file. But as of late yesterday Builders INC has full instructions on the site for public to see.

Well I'm just glad to see it back up. 1/2 way through the weekend I found out how to get on in the game. "Sometimes you just gotta keep on keepin on.."

How ever, I was able to get online. Check the Local Cert, and delete the Local Ip address and the was able to connect. Now I have something to do.

Think of it this way. You go to Youtube, facebook, Myspace. photobucket, webshots, TheChive, TMZ are a few I tried. All blocked. I'm not sure if it's a content filter or keyword style filter. For example. If you go to Google and search anonymous proxy. Every search result you click on is blocked. My oldest who is in High school deals with the same issue. He sits in the car with me as well, He'll do homework and most of the research he would like to get is blocked. Try doing a research paper on planets for astronomy and type in Uranus... Guess what most of that content is blocked. I do understand why they have these blocks in place. All I wanted was to pass the time by running EnB.

Wondering if anyone can help with an issue. After work I sit for about 45 minutes waiting for my son to get done with school. When he is on Cadet duty sometime an hour. The school has wifi but restricted. I can connect but 90% of the web is blocked. I've tried to load up EnB but they wont let the Net7 proxy go through. They use WebSence. Any way of getting around this?

Has anybody gotten this to work? Only thing I get when I visit the ships is dead. I was able to sneak around and click on all three ships. I have 3 RD prisoners onboard. Nothing. No message. But then the level 66 comes and shows me how well his weapons work.. Broke? Or do we need to have a certain faction level?

I wasn't thinking on selling item.. A player could just drop of said cargo.. In order to keep players from monopolizing the vendor items, perhaps the vendor would only keep so many of that item. Or simply only hold the item for so long. After 24 hours of having the item dropped off, it disappears. Another idea I had was to have your own vending store, I'm a miner and happy mining all day long. I'd like to mine, put them up in a vendor store to sell. A player could place this vendor where he chooses. Perhaps set it as a player has to be a certain level and cost so much. Pull out a loan and it would be paid off by the items you sell.

After playing for awhile Here's what I would like to see in the game. Listed in order or priority of what I would like. Message Box / Mailbox- Like sending a tell to someone, but you would be able to send them a message when they are off line. Perhaps to cut down on spam, only friends and guild members would be able to send messages. Guild Vaults- A vault where you can share your loot with other guild members. Guild Rooms or lounges - A lounge or room off a base for only guild members. Public Vault - A place to dump cargo that you don't want to sell or space. Towing - Instead of getting XP debt, get an actual tow to the base. Have a player hook up and pull you back to a base. (My sons idea, would take awhile but hey let have some actual tow vehicles)

Somtimes you want to just mine or do start mobbing without being hassled or bothered... Wouild be nice if you could do an invisible mode to where it looks like you are offline.
