I have noticed lately that there is a lot of unneccessary, inappropriate chat going on in the new player chat, while there has been no foul language some of the topics being discussed do not belong in public chat. I have gotten to the point of shutting off the new player chat, which I don't like to do in case a new player actually needs assistance. This mostly happens late night, & I think alot of the players feel that since it is late night, it is ok to use the public chats for this kind of discussions. Don't get me wrong, some friendly chatter is fine, but sometimes these folks get a little carried away, & it goes on for hours. It is just annoying. Maybe they could show some restraint & take it to OOC or a private channel. Please do me a favor & don't flame this, I am just making an obsevation, & stating my opinion & don't want to offend anyone. Thank you

Just went to portal; had no problem getting to my avatars or the database, if you remember, i had been having problems with this computer with windows 7-64 bit w/ IE9. this way i don't have to turn around & use my old computer. thanks guys.

ok, got it figured out. apparently it has nothing to do with my browser. used my old computer, with windows XP & IE 8; apparently the net-7 website cannot accomidate windows 7 (64-bit) & IE9. so, all is well

i can get to the web site, i see my avatars names, but cannot get into their "files", in other words I cannot look at my avatars or my account info. i also cannot get to the database. it is like the screen "freezes", and I cannot do anything but close it out. I don't know how else to expain it, seeing a screenshot would not help you, all it does is show my avatars names.

cannot do anything on Net-7.org; cannot access my accounts nor can I even browse the database. DID NOT have this problem before the patch or the attempt to help us fix our faction. I do use IE, but NEVER had a problem before. hopefully this can be fixed, as I don't feel we should have to change our browser to access what was available to us before you revamped the site. thank you

I am also having a problem with the net-7 portal; sometimes i cannot get to my avatars, sometimes i can; and when i do it is only 1, then i can't do anything else. can't even search database, screen just stays blank. it does show my avatars, but that is it.

just try again; i got an error but tried a second time & got right in.

I think it would be interesting to see where everyone is from also, i play at all hours, so it would be fun to see who in the world I am on with.

i think we need more level 9 fields; these are so few & far between, it is impossible to find ores needed for a lot of the higher level builds & such; example: grail water, astralite, & kronosite are the hardest to find, and they are the most used. people hoard these, and they cherry pick to get them. just my opinion.

Zackman: when you say "make sure you have browser cache refreshed" you lose me; i ask for laymen terms. as a side note; why should i have to refresh anything; i should be able to go to a page without a lot of extras, isn't that why the "download" option is there????? Also, the cookbook is rather bizzare, as you have to scroll down the page to find what you need/want, it is just as easy to click through for the information on the database. just my opinion.

could you please explain the new database information. i don't understand the cookbook thingy; . what are my "enb-emulator credentials"? can't get any information on the download section; just comes up blank please explain this in laymens terms, as i am not that technical. thank you

i have found it is not just the F7 job terminal; all of the job terminals with multi-level jobs are like that; all the mobs are equal to the highest level jobs available. it isn't so bad if u are after the higher level mobs, but when you are low level it can be a "killer" .

I vote no also, for the simple reason, it is part of the challange to go out & find stuff that makes the game interesting & fun to play. again, most times you can get an answer from other players. granted there is a lot of joking around when getting the answer, but I find that part of the game "fun"; people inter-acting with each other is part of this game. I did not play "live", but I have found this one of the best games to play. I have a lot of time to play & enjoy the interaction with other players. to "easily" obtain items would be so boring that I would probably not play the game, I have done so with other mmos. Also, it is an option to ask if someone has some of these items, as when a toon "outgrows" them, most people will give them away or store in their vault, I have done this & many others have also. I would rather the Devs & GMs spend their time on getting the game up to par, so that all aspects of the game can be implemented in the near future, instead of spending their time, pampering the people who want everything handed to them. I have toons of every race/class; 8 of which are at level 150, and have gotten them there by PLAYING the game. searching for items/ ores, etc. is part of the game play.

[/quote] i just did this mission on my TE, yesterday (7/20), did not have any problems at all; are you sure you have followed the mission log; NPC's dialog?

[/quote] even if you can't remember exactly where the mobs are, you could at least put out a message saying: " i had job mobs in sector such & so, if anyone sees them please get rid of them for me" maybe even a level so people will know what they are up against. i would just like to say; people who leave job mobs in areas where others take jobs should be more courtious to other players; if you take a job & cannot kill your mob, please be kind & ask for help to get the job done. there are plenty of people who would be more than happy to help you out. it is very annoying to take a job & go to an area & find you cannot do the job because someone else has left a higher level mob out there. thank you, Dragonrose
