I just exited to character selection to do a vault xfer, lost my connection and now can't get back in due to the same error message you are having Duval.  Something is funky somewhere!  :angry:

Yep, crashing on the galaxy map...not sure if its cause my JE is in New Edinburgh and that sector is black holed or if the whole thing is just fubared at the moment.  Ah well.  Time for a break!

  Lol well yeah Bob, I know but I've been on the other side of the fence and being under-appreciated is generally the way back office peeps are treated....so a little over-appreciation can't hurt.  It's too easy to complain about downtime and server outages, my hope is that a little humor and gratitude reminds people who are getting frustrated that we owe these guys having this game and everything that comes with it.  I'd hate for them to get burnt out, complained out and feeling like no one gets how much work this is for them....I lived through one sunset, would like to not see another for a long time!   So while I gush, it's because I <3 this team for bringing my first love MMO back!  :)

  No apologies necessary....you guys are GODS in my book.....Thor & Loki got nothing on you and Batman...I mean Zackman.  You guys will always be Ironmen to me!  (Avengers of the great wrong-doing by EA a decade ago!)   Take all the time you want/need....we'll be here waiting and wondering how we got so lucky as to have a great team of dedicated devs/content guys/web masters/gms, etc. bring this game back to life for us!   Seriously, it's not said enough even if it's said 100x a day, thank you for everything you guys do.   :wub:   Your most humble human servant, Bella

Thank you Lot, this tip did correct the problem we've been experiencing with our launcher being unable to connect, however now our Net-7 patch notes don't appear in the launcher (unable to connect error message in it's place) and our browsers can no longer see Net-7.org.  Any ideas what's going wrong? Any and all help is appreciated!  Thanks so much! Bella   EDIT:  I think I figured out the fix....the launcher and my browsers work again if the only address used above is: 74.208.192.215 sunrise.net-7.org   Hope this helps anyone else that's having problems too!

Lot's fix (from the DNS thread, modifying the host file) did the trick for the Proxy error we're having on our pc's but now our browsers can't reach Net 7...any idea what's behind all of this?  Thanks for any/all help!  Cheers!  

I had/have this problem too on 3/4 of our household pcs.  From the pinned DNS thread I got this from LOTS post over there and it fixed the launcher problem but broke my browser's ability to point to net-7.org:          This is a blessing and a curse....using this allowed my launcher to work but my patch notes no longer appear in the launcher and I can't access net-7.org in my browser, it instead goes to IIS7's launch page.  I have no clue what's going on here and am just happy to be able to play but it would be nice to not have the fix breaking something else.  Though I much prefer playing to browsing Net 7! LOL   EDIT:  I think I figured out the fix....the launcher and my browsers work again if the only address used above is: 74.208.192.215 sunrise.net-7.org   Hope this helps anyone else that's having problems too!

My hubby is getting proxy errors and is unable to connect on 3 different pcs in our home....we have played 4 of us on at the same time before on four diff desktops with no issues but as of just hours ago 3 of them see the server as offline and cannot get in.  Any ideas?  Tried everything above in terms of making sure all exe's are running in win xp svc pack 3 and deleting user.config and reinstalling but nothing is fixing the issue.   Thanks! Thank God for the server crashes, otherwise my husband would probably divorce me as I'd never clean or do laundry if we had 24/7 uptime! LOL BTW, LOVE the holiday themed Net-7! I second the guy who said "you guys complete me!" as always thanks 1000x's for all you do to bring us this fab game & fab community! Nothing but love for you here!
