  1. You can also try deleting or renaming Program Files (x86)/EA GAMES/Earth & Beyond/Data/client/mixfiles/global.th6. There was a time when the updater was sending that file but it shouldn't because the client creates it if it doesn't exist.

  3. From the client GUI standpoint it seems reasonable to me that it was designed to handle a max of 9 skill levels. I don't think we can change that (someone correct me if I'm wrong) but I think we could make each level worth say twice what it is now. So your first level would stay at the current level one and the 9th level would be level 17. Ummm, level 17 weapons and combat level 122 mobs... That's a lot of equipment that would have to be created to fill those new levels not to mention new mobs, sectors, ores, components, missions, etc.

  7. I searched for mss32.dll in my Earth & Beyond folder and found two: in \release theres one that is 340kb dated 12/28/2004 @ 7:11pm, v3.0.0.0 in \EBCONFIG it is 569kb dated 6/28/2002 @ 3:28pm, also v3.0.0.0 How do yours match up?

  9. Kyp, the statuses you set up were all marked as closed except for New Issue. I've marked them as open and made New Issue the default. Should work now.
  10. The failed to initialize makes me think it can't find a dependent dll like msvcr71.dll, etc.

  12. Ulutia, I'm running FF v9.0.1 also and get the small window top-center with 3 strobing white squares. Then it disappears and I get a Sign In popup dialog. I've tried reproducing your issue but no matter what I try it still works. Feel free to let me know your FF options and I'll try again.   14. Looking good Shaddex. My compliments to the Webdev team! Now that you have access to the player characters, any chance you could use that data to 'prime' the planner? Perhaps a button on the character tab that takes you to the planner for your characters race/profession and sets all the skill levels to your current values?
  15. I had the same problem after getting the latest updates last night. The "Run as Administrator" becomes unchecked when a new client.exe is updated. I had to re-check it. But that alone didn't fix it. I had to re-install the [url="http://patch.net-7.org/Net7/sunrise_patch.zip"]sunrise patch[/url]. The combination did the trick for me.

  18. I "rediscovered" Kailaasa last night. Memories came flooding back about hunting around Parens Beacon and the TransCom Monitor. Alas after a while of searching both places I found a single L5 mod (something Leech I think) near the beacon. I was scratching my head wondering if I'd just dreamed it all. I'm glad you've confirmed the lack of mobs there and are on top of things.

  23. Thank you for posting this! I thought I remembered using auto-follow religiously in live but it isn't working for me here. It keeps me about 1.4k away from the Mobs which is well outside the range of my L2 beams (just started a JD). I don't remember the distance in live but maybe half the distance of your shortest range weapon would be a good starting point for Jenquai anyway. Maybe use different formulas based on race?
