  1. Navigate is a combat skill if you consider that fact that terrans are supposed to be the fastest ships in game and their usual combat tactic is to kite. That being said I made the suggestion a while back to disable the extra classes until the rest of the game is working as it should be. The extra classes weren't in the game back when it was live and trying to force open a role for them is pointless if it means killing the original classes jobs. IMO it would be better to disable the extra ones for now and work on getting the normal classes and the rest of the game working properly for release. After that then start looking at what the extra classes are supposed to be doing in the game if anything.

  3. When the game loads you will be presented with the EA account registration box, just hit cancel to get to the normal login screen. This happened to me when I used my CD's to install E&B.

  6. You are running the Net 7 launcher and not the Earth & Beyond game itself? The launcher will run earth & beyond for you and point it to the correct server, if you just run E&B it will try to look for the old servers that EA nuked.
  7. For the JE's mining or useing skills would also break any rank of cloak.
  8. As a JE the teleport self skill was a nice "oh crap im gona die" button at low levels, it only sent you 5k out but was enough to cast the lowbie 7 second cloak. At high levels the same skill is kinda useless and not worth a spot on my shortcut bar, it would be nice to get the improved fold space buffs boosted a bit so that the "oh crap im gona die" button can become more useful by throwing you further out.
  9. On another note, i CF'ed my TT back to a healer and ditched her build skills but it still shows that she can build stuff on the list. Could we get a something to check wether the toon actually has the skills needed to make an item?
  10. On the builders list, any chance we can get a "View Online Builders" button. Haveing a list of people that can make an item is cool, but haveing a list of people that are actualy around to build it would be better.
  11. It would be nice to see some of the other lvl9 energy based beams in game, atm we dont have much of a choice when it comes to energy damage.

    My JE on live could kite voltoi, I only had about a 0.5k leeway though between being too close and gettin my butt kicked or out of range with my beams. It took a while to kill em but was fun trying.

    I know I will probably get some hate for this but back on live the dps from 50+ mobs was alot more than it is now. A few examples: My 150 JE used to try to kite voltoi, I would take 3 maybe 4 hits and I would be in hull with a level 8 shield. My 150 TE used to get raped by the 50ish tengu in cooper, they would grav link me so I couldnt kite or warp out, then tear me a new one when they got closer. My 150 JD's max psi shield used to get taken out after 2-3 hits from a 50. Im sure the people that played in live remember what the damage was like from the 50+'s, you couldn't do it solo unless you could tank or kite.
  14. I jumped in and out of Zweihander for a while and didnt get stuck. I use Win 7 64. The only thing I noticed was that when I was approching the gate on the Witberg side I had a little lag spike when the earth corp ships loaded. Other than that everything was fine. It could be a problem with the client on your x64 machine, have you tryed copying net7 and the enb client from ur x32 machine to ur x64 machine?

  16. Their was a bug a bit back that gave new toons +9999 rd faction... Think it was sorted though.

I noticed that getting you deflects above 50 doesnt seem to make any difference to the damage that you take, which means theirs no point in the explorer buff devices for them when a few skills can get them to this number. Any chance we can get some sort of diminishing returns thing for deflects so that buffing them above 50 would be useful?
  18. Back on live their was lv8-9 gas in IO. I have to agree with the high level mobs patroling low level fields, that just seems a bit silly. As for the sig on the roids, and extra few K would help find that last roid in the field.
  19. You had to kill ur own faction to get firendly with the vrix. Then kill RD's to get faction back with ur own faction. Then chavs for RD faction back.
  20. If thats the case then the extra speed you are getting are from a rr and kraken buffs, their stacking atm.
  21. Theirs a bug on the tracker about the equip and activated buffs sticking until you relog. Could be something to do with that.
  22. At the moment the NOS lets anyone max out their combat speed at 1000, i think this is a bit too much. The only people that sould be getting close to this are terrans. My suggestion is to nerf the combat speed bonus on this so its more in line with a cats paw, or change the reward to something simalar like a White Lightnin.

    In live cloak against mobs that could see through it kinda worked like a minus sig, you could get a bit closer than you normaly would but would spot you if you got too close. This was the same in the arena, a guildies PS couldnt see my JE untill i got within about 3-4k then he spotted me an tore me a new one lol. As for mobs that can see through cloak, atm their isnt any vrix so id start with the raid bosses/mobs, makes sence that they sould be able to see through it.

    Its not just the interupt i was talking about. Its the hits for 0 damage you take while ur cloaked from the projectiles on route to you. Because of that jenpies take very little damage during combat unless they get into the mobs beam range.

    Was expecting a flood of jenpies to come an shoot this one down lol But yea, it needs to be tweaked a bit.
