StarSeekerVDS
Since ST4, I have been trying to make new characters using SC. They show up until I close SC and then vanish and no longer show up in either SC or in game. Solutions?
kameleon
Im sure if you use a fresh account with no slots used, and then try to make one of the new classes, it will work. But thats if you want another account...

Marco[IS]
On XP? I am already. Did you install the Starship Creator into the E&B Directory? If so, then you'll need to be running as an administrator account for it to save. - Marco
StarSeekerVDS
I did, and I (always) am. It worked fine before.
JoeCool
Did you have a look at: All Users\Application Data\Westwood Studios\Earth and Beyond\Character and Starship Creator\ all your created characters should be saved there as Avatarx.dat files. Check the Folder for access rights or delete it completely and retry.
karu [WDL]
Character creator needs registry key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\\Westwood Studios\\Earth and Beyond\\Character and Starship Creator] to exist or it does not save characters.
