  1. Did you install the enb_up.exe or enb_update.exe? That would be my best guess otherwise... I don't know. - Marco
  2. More or less it has to do with the network side. I'm no expert, but I learned from the Reactor Optimization skill that nothing new can be added that requires Client -> Server -> Client interaction. Things can be "reused" in a sense, but adding in new packet data is impossible, mainly due to the lack of the client source code. So we can code it, but the client will be like "WTF?" when you tried to add it onto your ship and use it. - Marco
  3. Sounds cool. I do not think though that this is possible with the current client. She can be a real bugger sometimes. - Marco
  4. Is he going to be in-charge of our in game mail system? - Marco
  5. I cannot help with that sector since it is under the Kyp's domain. That would be like me being the guy on the left, with Kyp on the right in this video Not safe for kids (well the URL is not). Age 16 and up. (A bit loud on the volume) - Marco
  6. Also if TB has time, I gave him the update which should fix the issue with the Engine and Device Tech trees. - Marco Side Note: This is still the best WoW Commerical.
  7. I hope for tonight. It is up to the overlord, himself. - Marco
  8. There is none. Cause Terrans Suck! That's right Kyp, I said it and you know it! who supports Kyp's Terrans!BTW, once TB does his content push, the Seeker has a temporary mission for build reactor from the GETCO Mechanic on Ishuan Station. Too much EnB, and you'll look like him. - Marco
  9. Hmm, that is odd. I'll have to ask around. Maybe due to the nature of how the proxy works, it set off a false positive? Proxy sends data from the client to the server, back from the server to the client. I guess it could look like malware. - Marco
  10. I am guessing he retracted his statement? - Marco
  11. Would be neat, but the client is picky about it. Each ship has a 0-6 hull designator that the client comprehends. We can modify the weapon/device slots for each hull, but then it will be limited to everybody. As well, the best setup available to the client is a 6/6; six weapons, six devices. So the other guy who was wanting more weapon slots, well... can't go beyond 6. 0 = Starter hull 1 = Level 10 2 = Level 30 3 = Level 50 4 = Level 75 5 = Level 100 6 = Level 135 As you can see, there is no "branching off" factor available. I tried in the past, but the client will not comprehend alternative hull upgrades. I didn't like the hull 1 wing 1 look of a JE at level 135, so I tried to insert an alternative hull upgrade system in. It caused the client to crash. - Marco
  12. It was from live, and yes it is ugly in my opinion, others think it looks better the the starting hull. Main reason I don't play as a PS is the look at the level 135 hull upgrade. No one said you are forced to do anything. If you really like the look of your ship, then don't get a hull upgrade. You can still level up and equip level 1-9 gear on your ship. Heck, a player over the summer made it to level 150 as the starter JE ship. So it is possible. - Marco
  13. "Hardcoded" since Live. But you can always not do a hull upgrade. then you can keep your design. - Marco
  14. As I posted in my thread on the Build Reactor mission. I made it a temp mission since the actual mission isn't working 100% of the time. So it is turning into a "Go here and talk to so and so, and there you go." Till the new mission system is implemented. This way I don't drive good old AF_VET crazy with all those player tickets about why their mission isn't advancing. - Marco
  15. Yup. That is why the mobs were tethered. Many people complained, but it was cruel to kite Mr. Chavez Boss Guy (My nickname for him) out to the corner of the sector, and ditch him there just to grief others. Terrans can still kite now, just not as easy before that code. You Terrans (under Kyp, your overload) need to think less linear and more circular! Wow, that made me sound smart. I kind of feel bad for those RD mobs and the RD base. Imagine how much XP Dept and Credit Debt they are in from all those "Tows," after being killed so much. - Marco
  16. The server runs in Debug mode. When it crashes, it literally freezes. So no auto-restart while in debug mode. I remember this being asked back in May, when the server had a max uptime of 5 minutes. Only the Server Developers have the permissions to restart the Server. - Marco
  17. Yup. We are going to be a structured content push this time around. So no longer do we have the weekly ones. I believe there is one this weekend, but I'm not quite sure. I've been a bit busy and missed the meeting last night. - Marco
  18. Maybe it is not in the patch, adn that is why the patcher can't validate the hash? - Marco
  19. Known bugs don't always need to be reported. Saves us "scrolling" time. - Marco
  20. I think you hit the nail on the head, so to speak. As for those V'rix ships in Tarsis, they were for an "end of ST3" event I proposed, till it was scrapped by the rest of the C.Dev Team. As for why they showed up on the play server, well that was because of a "Database Transfer" that was a bit earlier then planned. - Marco
  21. I'm curious now... Do you remember the name of the mission, or what skill it was for? - Marco
  22. When? I see nothing pointing to that Sector. Null issues, similar to Ishuan Station. Locked for a black-hole issue currently. --------------------------------------------------------------- Side note, the mission isn't working for the Build Reactors. Since the new system for missions is underdevelopment, I am adding a temporary mission in till the new one is in place. As for Foldspace, I'll have to ask Kenu if he is ready. - Marco
