Djiai
I've tried to reinstall the game and net-7 about 50-60 times now with updates and everything. I have installed in the order posted on antother post, I have tried installing in different order, but to no avail. All I get in the end is that Hash error, where I've also tried deleting the file mentioned in the error message. But alas. I got a i7 3.4 gHz, 8 GB ram, Geforce GTX 570, Win7 64Bit, And got the .net 4.0 installed. I get as mentioned this hash error message where I have the opportunity to select try again, skip and cancel. If I press cancel the patching process ends. If I press skip, it "finishes" the patching, and I will get a new error message where it says that the program is not for 64bit OS. Help plz? Getting desperate here. DarkkHero
I would re-download the EnB Client and the unified installer. It's possible your installation files are corrupt. Simply log into Net-7.org, and click Main > Downloads. Make sure to run both as Administrator and Compatibility Mode Windows XP SP2. Let us know if this works. We'll do everything in our power to get you playing.
Zackman [LDEV]
...and make VERY sure you follow the guides and FAQ (portal) literally. Dont miss a single step - if something is in the FAQ/Guide, its there for a good reason!
Djiai
Well it says I should register at Net-7 at a point, but I allready did in beta, do I need to do it again for Live? Also, Should I also download and install EnB Client patch set as pt 2? or just skip? Edited November 14, 2012 by Aragwath
DarkkHero
Unified Installer will update your client. If you can log into Net-7.org, you're fine. If not, you'll need to register or recover your lost account/password.
Djiai
Ok, Will try re-downloading and Re-installing the game
Djiai
Same error yet again. I used E&Bconfig, as I could not find a Net7config file. is that incorrect?
DarkkHero
As I don't know exactly what you have done so far, make sure you completely uninstall your previous installation, and delete the install folder. C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond Then run Unified Installer. It will ask for eandb_demo.exe path. Then it will ask if you want to patch. Say yes. Just follow what it asks. When complete, set LaunchNet7.exe and enb.exe, and enbconfig.exe to run as Administrator.
Djiai
Agh!. Ego
I'm running 64 bit Win 7 and had no problems, so the OS is fine and I loaded enb then the n7 installer, yes to patch, no register, worked first go

Zackman [LDEV]
Heya and tnx. this temp file is not part of the update, it's only existing local...so: 1. Quit launcher 2. Delete the file "Net7.exe.tmp" 3. Restart Launcher, make sure you have admin rights to that folder, best to launch it in admin mode (you are on Windows XP iirc)
Djiai
Does not work, The launcher just creates another launchNet7.exe.tmp

Shaddex
Looking at the Update screen shots, your update is looking at
c:\program files(x86)\EA GAMES\earth & beyond\Net-7\Bin
That is not a location I know. Looks like its a Mix of the GAME and the LAUNCHER ? GAME = c:\program files(x86)\EA GAMES\earth & beyond Launcher = c:\program files(x86)\Net-7\

Shaddex
E&B should be installed here "c:\program files(x86)\EA GAMES\earth & beyond" NET7 Launcher gets installed here "c:\program files(x86)\Net-7\" Can you confirm this ? grey406
is your computer overclocked at all? Do you get hash errors on anything else? Hash errors means something got corrupted/lost while downloading which suggests unstable ram
Djiai
That is exactly what I did, but I still ended up with a Net-7 folder inside Earth&Beyond folder Will Try reinstall and see if it happens again. No, comp is not overclocked Edited November 15, 2012 by Aragwath
Shaddex
Aragwath, goto www.net-7.org and log in. Then goto webhelp, webhelp chat. Ill speak there and see what I can do..
