Nathan Zhao Event

I was looking at some old pics involving one of the most fun server wide events we had in Live. Nathan Zhao. I remember back in Live it took the Andromeda server some 4 hours to take down this mob. There were at least 100 toons, tons of groups and guilds all working together to try to slay this guy! Awesome event. :D

I can't remember exactly what is shield cap was - something like 60 million and when someone died I believe he healed a little bit on each death. I realize there may not be the player base yet to attempt this level of mob as he was in live, but perhaps we could adjust his shield cap. If we are looking at server stability and stress testing - this would be a great way to see how it would fare.

Not only that - it would be fun!

Is anyone else interested in Nathan Zhao? And how hard would he be to code into the game?

I dont remember this myself, it might have been before I was high enough in live for the big stuff. But something like this would be pretty darned amazing.

I mean we have basically watered down raid as it is. The bowl used to take 24 people, now it takes like 3 or 4, the troller took 12+ now its takes 4 or so. Its this high end supercontent thats lacking severely. We need a challenge, something that requires real mass cooperation and not just 2 or 3 guys dual boxing a spawn thats so gimped it cant even rightly be called a raid anymore.

Srsly, Arenzael used to hit for like 80k damage a shot, now... he tickles.

Just to add - I see in the pic he had just over 100k shield :blink:

I, too, remember how much harder mobs hit in Live. But, I also remember how many more players were online in each galaxy and how most things of any value were camped 24/7. I rather enjoy having to have fewer folks involved in events, since we don't have that many anyway. If the original FB were online now, I am not sure we could do it very often. Just my two credits... Oh no doubt a full power fishbowl would be hard pressed to be completed, but the fact that three people can do it with 4-6 toons is also a little bit extreme. Its not very conducive to co-op play, i mean someone with quick hands and a strong computer could multibox a few toons and solo it im sure
