Most large scale builders have existing networks for ore supply - usually in guild. This is done in exchange for builds and similar services or out of good nature. Also the abundance of comp drops in the universe make for a good way to stock ore coffers - ripping cops is probably my main wait to stay in ores. Every cop I get I rip and top off my ores stocks. Buying and ripping cops is a last resort, but it is a good backup plan if you run low. I do question Jarod's hypothesis that a decrease in credits will improve the ore market. I still think my two points above cover the lions share.

Usually switching to local cert fixes the INV-300 error, but not in this case. Also the number of players online is dropping so I suspect that those who are going offline are not getting back on or replaced. Lannister

I am in game now and was doing some testing with those who had similar issues - and I think there is a common problem with packet loss for a not-insignificant portion of the user base. I get it especially on the weekends, as do many others. I did some testing with 3 people I found online who had the same problem yesterday and all of them had packet loss. All three of us where in drastically different areas of the world (Me in Texas, one in Ohio, and one in Guam). I know I have heard packet loss reported in the past. Is there some issue here we are aware of? Likely with the ISP hosting the net-7 servers?

C Del, This has been a consistent theme over the weekends when the user count is high. Most everyone is seeing the problems when logging on as well as increased issues when gating / docking. It was a consistent topic in changes and TS last night and last weekend. Lannister

Ok - there are still some bugs that need to be worked out here. A couple that need some attention: 1. Stage II reactor test nets the state II shield test report (not the reactor as it should). I had a GM swap me the item so I could continue - but it needs fixed. 2. The shield mission stops after you make the lvl7 - GM indicated that the security for the next mission was set to high and so regular players cannot get it. I am waiting on you to fix it rather than have the mission pushed to me. Lannister

Ok, I have done some additional work on these. I have build over 20 of each of the Weapon, Reactor, and Shield and cannot make it to the minimum build requirement to progress the mission. With the following build advantages: Max Build Skill (Shield, Reactor, Weapon) A Device to bull build skill (Ego Matrix, Shield Prom, Build Computer) Most of the builds in that area usable for my PP. Even with those advantages my build changes are as follows: Weapon: 106% - 181% (Expected 143%) Shield: 101% - 176% (Expected 139%) Reactor: 96% - 171% (Expected 133%) So whatever was set to make these builds more challenging was over-set. They are virtually unobtainable. So Rojo - you must have some extra GM Mojo the rest of us do not.

Byakhee, The build test for Reactors is imposable to complete. Once you analyze the lvl9 test reactor you need to build a 185% version of it. However even with my PPs max build in reactors, almost all Progen analyzable reactors printed, and a lvl8 build comp my max build is only 171%.

Crashed - right on the last wave of the FB. Fortunately only 3 fish left... Now will it have saved? I feel bad for that full group from Von waiting to start the next raid.

All, I am happy to push for changes to faction - and I understand the pain of the faction grind, but it needs to be a challange. A single mission, even a CF style mission, would not IMHO be enough. Perhaps more RD faction mini missions to lessen the load as someone else suggested would be an option, but like the existing missions they would probably need to be limited in both when youc an take them (i.e. a minimum faction) and their reward (i.e. 500pt cap). Lets also not forget Der Todd and the rumors of a Chavez factioned sector off the gate in Paramis. Or am I incorrect/off target in thinking that faction needs to be a reail pain and that, at best, we will be replcing one sort of grind for another?

I think something similar to the distribution model that CDev mentioned was what they did in Live. Sub 100% did happen occasional, but not as often as they are now. We did two runs of the FB yesterday netting the normal loot and very few items were above 100%. We looted two of each smiter (wrath and fury) and all were below 100%. If the game was up I would send you a picture of my 75% Caster. Talk about elation followed by disappointment...

Slayer, I can confirm that something has happened as part of the restore. In addition to numerous messages/posts in game on lost levels or lost items my JE was effected. My JE had logged in and refined some ores and pass them to my TT. When I logged him in again a bit ago he still had the ores (and so did my TT). So it seems that toons which were logged in this morning but logged off before your restore took place. Toons which stayed logged on during the process were not impacted. Lannister

A simple little item on the website: It would be nice if the main page (http://www.net-7.org/index.php) would either allow you to access the database while not logged in or (preferably) would give you an option to remember your login.

The Basilisk line of devices is in game and readily available - lots of people make them. Just request in mar key channel and I am sure someone will help you out.

All, First apologies for the delay in posting and responding. I was out last week for work, but I am back in now. From catching up on the thread and my private message it looks like I need to take care of three things. First, Confirming I am still interested and thanking those who have nominated me. Secondly I need to meet up with the Devs on Team Speak which I will try and do in the next couple of days. Third, there have been a couple of calls for a "statement of intent". I think that comes in two parts: Qualifications and Intent. So on that last point here goes. Qualifications: 1. I meet the criteria specified and believe I have excellent communication skills (spell checker often required). 2. I am an active participant online both in the various chat channels and on the forums. 3. I know the game, both from live and emulator. As you can see from my sig I have multiple toons that run the gambit of game experience. 4. I am on fairly regularly,mostly during the US day but often on evening and weekends. 5. I am an active member of one of the largest guilds 6. I do not do conflict - I try and be helpful but do not have the desire to squander my game play experience on petty things. Intent: My intent is simply to help improve the E&B community and game play experience. Nothing more, nothing less. We have a great game here and an even greater user community - even better than Live. If it can get better then I would love to have a hand in that where possible. Plasma and chem build for 1m each, so better than than the Impact. Impact still builds at 9 for a max negotiate TT.

I looted, mapped, and was able to build Chemical Black Spitt ammo today. The DB has an error arround the icon for the ammo - it comes up as null. But manues and shoots just fine. Hopefully Plasma is out there as well then.
